Plot Twist is a good time. I love the decor and the setup of it. It's indoors but they often open up the garage doors and it just changes the whole vibe in the best way. They have some really awesome staff there!!! Like people I would hang out with in real life lol. Everyone there is a vibe and so kind and just fun. Their cocktail and coffee menu is truly delicious. Sometimes it's hard to decide what to order. I have been there many times since they opened and I always have a great time. Parking hasn't been a problem yet, but I can see it being hard to find a spot on busy days. It's a cute spot that I definitely recommend to anyone. Eclectic place for a solid cocktail. I didn't try the coffee, but got an espresso martini. Theirs is made with tequila, so I went with it as-is. You can change the alcohol if you'd like, my friend got hers with vodka. Good flavor in the drink. They were packed so we sat at the bar, that happened to have 2 spots just for us. The bartender was nice, as was the rest of the staff we encountered. Cool outdoor space but it was so damn hot outside for that... unfortunately it was hot inside too, at least where we were. Unsure if others felt that way in their lounge chairs and bean bags. Food truck option for food. I'd definitely return! Looks like they have some fun events, too. read more

To start off parking is atrocious! There is limited spaces close to the actual building and then there is street parking. There is a nice outdoors area and a beautifully decorated inside. They have a projection screen and Pretty Woman was playing. Upon entering a hostess greets you and provides you with menus and give you a run down of the concept. Then you move to the area you can order. Seating is communal so grab a spot where you can. During our visit I ordered a Matcha Banana Pudding and Brown Sugar Cardamom drink from the cafe portion of the menu. I throughly enjoyed my drink. It was full of banana flavor and the mini vanilla wafer cookie on top add just enough crunch to the drink. However for the other drink it was highly recommended and was described as a dirty soda. We love a dirty soda but not this dirty soda. Neither of the nibblings liked this drink and it was a waste! I loved visiting here and trying the drinks. It seems like a great spot to hang with friends and enjoy bevs. My only deterrent would be having to find parking. This is a such a unique concept! I wish that more places had something similar that caters to both drinkers and non-drinkers. Or coffee drinkers. I ordered the ube coconut mocktail and while I didn't really taste much of the ube or coconut, it was very refreshing. The place is also adorably decorated and had comfortable indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. Great place for coffee or drinks, both alcoholic or non-alcoholic if you're the designated driver. Service was fast and friendly too. Parking is a bit difficult but we were able to find it on the street. read more

What a wonderful new cocktail and coffee addition to Charlotte! The aesthetics here are so unique--sexy, chic, and offering a great vibe overall. The entire staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. I actually spoke with the owner about a recent video she posted on social media, and she was so genuine! She took the time to chat with us for a while about their grand opening, their social accounts, and other fun aspects of the business. For drinks, I highly suggest the Ube Coconut and the Espresso Martini. Visited for the first time this past Sunday (5/3) at around 10:30 am, and the line was out the door! There were plenty of tables both inside & outside. However, there is a veryyyy small parking lot so you're better off parking on the side streets and walking over. Luckily it's very residential & parking is easy to find. There were a LOT of people working this morning & one of the girls came by to each person in line to share the menu & suggestions. She was so nice! Although the line was long, it only took about 10 mins by the time we reached the front. Once we ordered, they told us to sit wherever & that they'd come to us. I took a peek at the screen to see how they would find us, and they made a note to our clothing description which I thought was a cool touch. I ordered the iced matcha banana pudding & my husband ordered a small iced ube latte. Both were delicious! There were also lots of kids & dogs, which they are open to! I saw a few orders that gave a teeny pup cup with it. By the time we left, around 11:30, no one was in line so I guess we came at a prime coffee rush time. This place was an amazing find. I wanted to go cocktail hunting and this is definitely what I wanted. A place to experiment new flavors and something I can't find everywhere else. The concept of this coffee and cocktail bar is genius. It's decorated very nicely as the aesthetic is pleasing to the eye. I ordered two drinks, the Brown Sugar Cardamon ($7) - Dr. Pepper, espresso, brown sugar cardamon, vanilla cold foam and the Lavender Vanilla ($7) - espresso, milk, lavender, vanilla. I informed the host when I ordered that I wanted my drinks sweet and the flavors to come through, but when I got the Lavender Vanilla, it didn't have a strong lavender flavor. I requested more lavender from the barista who added it without issue, making the drink perfect. The Brown Sugar Cardamon was perfect as I had never thought about how coffee and Dr. Pepper have a similar taste. I will definitely be back to try more. read more

I stopped by for their summer pop up party yesterday and was pleasantly surprised! For being right on the Plaza, the ambiance is so cute and trendy, you'd never know you were right next to a major road. I tried one of their summer sips, the Aloha Aloha as a mocktail. While the drink was delicious, I was shocked at the price of $18 for basically flavored soda water. I would be scared to know how much it would have cost if I left the alcohol in it! read more

It's kinda an old garage all spiffed up with cool artwork and decor and great outside seating . I loved the whole coffee bar concept with alternate later hours cocktails, wine and beer. They have a great menu and they can also add THC to some drinks. Check menu! Service was really great , I sat at the coffee bar and had a cappuccino as I was early to meet some friends for brunch . You pay the servers that are walking around and orders up at the counter. Since I was sitting there they just gave me mine! Great strong coffee. Served up in a pretty glass . This is such a cute cafe. I love the ambiance of the inside it is giving so girly and cuties. On a non-hot day it would be great to sit outside and soak in the sun. Super cool spot in CLT! I love the vibe here. One of the first things I noticed was the decor. I love the bar stools! They have a nice selection of coffees, cocktails and mocktails. I stepped way out of my comfort zone and got the Brown Sugar Cardamom Coffee. I've never had anything like it. It was like a carbonated dirty soda coffee which yes, sounds weird, but I'm telling you it works! There was also a line but it went by super fast. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful with the menu. You order at the bar, then they bring it to you. There's a nice outdoor area for seating. Parking could be really tough here, we somehow got lucky and snagged the last spot in the small lot. First of all, the atmosphere is incredible. It's so cute and cozy while also just being such a fun space. I got the banana pudding, Matcha and also a vanilla blueberry latte. Both choices were great, but the blueberry syrup was especially yum. They are located in an old warehouse and definitely kept that aesthetic with large garage doors they keep open when it's time to enjoy the nice weather. Inside they have plenty of lounge seating along with some groovy carpets and eclectic decorations that give it the funky cafe vibe. Their menu has a unique system that offers a variety of flavor profiles that can be ordered in different ways. They offer cocktails, coffee, and mocktails. So it's almost like using a bingo card, you decide what flavor you want and then let the know how you want it. It's a fun unique idea and my group and I enjoyed it. It was especially nice for my friends who didn't want to drink as it offered an easy way to enjoy mocktails that are comparable to the alcoholic ones everyone else is enjoying. Like most cocktail bars the drinks can be pricy so if you plan on trying multiple different cocktails be prepared to spend some dough. Lovely new coffee shop in Plaza! Going to a new place when it just opened can always be a hit or miss due to having to work out the kinks but when I visited you could hardly tell they were brand new. All of the staff were friendly and inviting. When you first walk in, someone greets you and directs you to sit anywhere that is available. They provide you with a menu and ask if you've been there before (I believe they've only been open for a week). If you haven't been, they'll give you a run down on their menu and how it works. Right now they're only doing coffee/tea and soon they'll have cocktails and mocktails. They have a standard menu and then a curated menu with their in-house specialty drinks. The specialty drinks all have a "base" and you can pretty much turn it into anything , for example let's say you wanted "vanilla" (it's more in depth then this but work with me LOL) that's your base and you'd choose whether you want it as a cocktail, mocktail or latte. The menu is very unique which is a breath of fresh air as you can pretty much find the same coffee anywhere! I tried their twist of a dirty chai and added banana. But I'll be back to try their espresso with Dr Pepper drink as I've heard it's delicious. Broad assortment of drinks for the adventurous palette with literally something for everyone.
