Bartender handled the whole joint on a Saturday lunch. -- Patty Melt: Nice straddling between traditional and innovative. Brisket patty, neither thick nor thin, with a soft grind, cooked showing pink (I asked for medium rare if possible). Bacon-onion-jalapeño jam with some zip and bacon saltiness and bendy texture. Caramelized onions with a hint of sweetness. Partly-melted American cheese. Griddled marble rye with unnoticeable butter. Not perfection, but an enjoyable mix of flavors and textures. -- Fries (with the patty melt): Thin, crunchy shoestrings, aggressively salted, in assorted lengths. -- Quinoa Bowl: Bright flavors, good textures, per my wife. -- Ginger Soda: Made in house, string Ginger flavors, not too much sugar. Very good, though at $7, it's gotta be something you're certain you want. Solid experience. Hard to get a full picture without trying more things, but good enough to try more. And many good options for vegetarian dishes and mocktails.

I was in the area for yet another specialist appointment and was not feeling in the best spirit…read more Since it was a fasting appointment, I was pretty hungry so the hubby brought me here. I don't know if I was starving, unhappy or what but this place and meal hit the spot and hit it hard. I thought I deserved a drink so I got a Guinness, which was thankfully on tap so yah! I got the bourbon steak tips with steak fries and opted for a garden salad instead of the green beans - yes, yes, and yes! Steak tips were perfectly flavorful and cooked just right for my taste. I really wanted fries and (unlike some of my family/friends) I actually like steak fries and they were cooked up just the way I like'em (crisp outside, not too mushy on the inside). The salad though, yah it was basic and yet not - all kinds of different colored tomatoes which actually had great flavor to them, and it was not just a couple but quite a few and they were "fresh". That is basically what I loved about the salad - not your typical anemic looking/tasting salad but with mixed greens (not just lame looking iceberg) and full of other veggies. The server also could not have been nicer (like I said I went through a lot that day so seeing a friendly face was nice) and always checking on us. I think we made a great choice in stopping here - it was a 4:30 on a Tuesday and it was busy. Good sign!

The staff is very friendly, even during the dinner rush when there are shows in town. The place is a little dark, but it's a pub -- that's part of the atmosphere. I started with an Allagash Ale while my wife had water. I always seem to gravitate toward the fish and chips, which are consistently crispy, fresh, and full of flavor. This time around, my wife ordered the fish tacos and thoroughly enjoyed them. If you're heading to a show at the Hall, I highly recommend stopping here beforehand.

I am sorry to say we should not have gone to this one. The place inside is small but cozy. Our server was Sadie who was also bartending. She did a great job... the food was the problem. We ordered the grilled octopus. We love octopus and travel far to enjoy it but this octopus was so tough and chewy. It has to be tenderized properly. I actually swallowed the one piece in my mouth rather than spitting it out. We told our server and the manager came and apologized. On that same plate was a bit of hummus, a few greens, olives and a slice of feta that was so dry and tasteless! I only buy imported cheeses because they traditionally are way better and I know they are more expensive but give a great product and people will appreciate it. I was so frustrated with this dining experience I wanted to leave.. I ordered the Chicken Santorini which was ok but his MOUSSAKA was not good. It is usually one of the most delicious Greek dishes. The béchamel sauce was as thick as the ground beef bottom but was not rich and creamy but more like a custard! Ugh again so frustrating. The piece was huge as was my dinner but more is not always better. All in all we won't be going back. Maybe if you don't know truly great Greek food you'll be ok at Anna's Harborside. I wish them the best.. I really wanted it to be a wonderful dining experience but they failed.

They also gave us a coupon for a free iced green or mango yerba maté to redeem in-store. I then visited The Yellow Deli on Monday around 2pm and it wasn't too busy. Since I wanted to redeem the free drink and order takeout, I went to the cashier counter. I got the mango yerba maté and it was very refreshing. The menu offers hot-steamed sandwiches, fresh salads, from-scratch soups, and homemade desserts. Vicki, owner of Spirit of Plymouth, had recommended the Deli Rose. After ordering, I waited about 10 minutes for my order to be ready. While you wait, you can visit the Common Sense Store which is accessible through or just to the right of the Deli. The hot-steamed sandwich came in a box with a pickle and chips. The deli rose sandwich had roast beef, corned beef, pepper jack cheese, mozzarella cheese, onions, tomato, butter mustard and spicy red sauce on an onion roll. It was delicious and I enjoyed every single bite. The sandwich had a good amount of filling. The Yellow Deli is a pretty cool place. The decor, artwork and murals, ambiance, and music is really cool. The staff are also very friendly and sociable.
