This time I called and asked can you make me a maple walnut birthday cake. The response was as I expected, why of course I can. I picked up the cake and did not look at it until later that night for my sons birthday dinner. WOW this cake was awesome the frosting was great walnuts covered the out side and was incorporated into the cake. Thank you Laura your the best

However, the bakery itself was rather crowded with some picking up an order while others waiting patiently for their food. I went for the tuna sandwich but opt'ed for sourdough instead of rye. The tuna was pretty good, with a reasonably seasoned fish and not too much mayo. The sourdough was toasted and held up well. The butterscotch cookie was fairly chewy and soft, though perhaps a tad too sweet for my taste. Check-in on Yelp and you'll get a free "pastry", so I can't complain too much with a free cookie. With a sandwich, free cookie, and a drink, I paid nearly $10, which wasn't too bad with the cookie. The decor is clean and a bit cutesy, without it inducing a vomiting posture. Like many writers here, the wait time is longer than other equivalent places. Fortunately I didn't have any more pressing matters that day, so I could afford a check on fb...or two checks.

After getting advice, recommendations, and pricing from Scott, we ordered pulled pork, bbq chicken, mac & cheese, potato salad and cornbread. Opted for a hot pickup and everything we ordered was put together professionally and was easily transported back to the house. The food was phenomenal!! Personally loved the pulled pork with the added bbq sause that was included. Delish! The 50ish guests that were here all raved about each dish, and many asked for the name and contact info so they could use Catering Boss for their own parties in the future. I am so glad I decided to order with Scott and his team. My party was a huge success and my son got to have his faves, delicious bbq dishes, before heading off to training. Thank you so much Scott for being a part of one of our most memorable days! Not all heros wear capes-some just hand you a pulled pork sandwich

All our guests commented on how good the food was and how fun the pig roast was. All leftovers were packed up for us, sauces left as well. We have used them in the past as well, and will absolutely consider for the future.

We had several quiches, finger sandwiches, salads, fruit platters and calzones. The food was a huge hit with everyone. Mark was an absolute pleasure to work with, he was not only responsive, he also helped me to estimate the right amount of food needed and he was spot on. I will definitely be calling them again for future events. They are reasonably priced, provide excellent food, offer an array of options and have excellent customer service. However, be advised that for a house party, you may need to arrange pick up rather than it being delivered. The advantages far outweighed the inconvenience of finding someone to pick it up.If you need a caterer, look no further.

From the first meeting they were able to easily accommodate our unique location, and Mark had lots of fantastic suggestions in regards to the menu - the best being passed ice cream cones for dessert, which were HUGE waffle cones and were absolutely to die for - my guests are STILL raving about them two months later. In fact, they are still raving about the food overall, including one of our guests who is a professional chef. All of the food was fantastic (I only wish my husband and I had time to enjoy more of it), the wait staff was wonderful, and we contacted Mark plenty of times as the big day approached with questions and little touches we needed that he had no issue helping with. On top of all that, we were floored by the budget-friendly price. We felt like we got above and beyond what we paid for. To Mark and the entire staff: thank you so much!

Well in just a couple hours we were able to cover SO much ground. From making a delicious salsa and homemade chips, to a steak and a chicken, even farro with caramelized onions. Not only did I learn tons of REALLY helpful skills that I've already been implementing, but I had delicious food that lasted me for a handful of meals THAT I HELPED MAKE! They brought all their own ingredients and left my kitchen completely spotless (possibly cleaner than how they found it) I am so thankful to these two and I look forward to our next lessons.

Neither of us really knew what a personal chef service looked like. We love cooking but we didn't/don't have time during the week to cook. We hoped we'd get more vegetables into our diet at a minimum. That not eating out would mean less of the white devils (sugar, salt). I reached out to The Skinny Beet in a frenetic and desperate state last December. Since they've entered our lives the sun is shining, the clouds have parted and Mondays are happy (re: they are miracle workers). We have been a weekly client with The Skinny Beet for almost 3 months now. At the end of 1 month we reached out to them and shared a list of each positive benefit directly or indirectly related to hiring them as personal chefs. I would like to share this list with you (reader of my review): 1. My husband and I spend more time together. 2. We portion control better. 3. We work out more (have time to work out). 4. We feel better: less groggy, less irritable, more energy. 5. The food they make tastes flavorful, wholesome and satisfying. We get to eat our favorite cuisines with less of the sugar/salt and more grain/vegetable variety than what we know how to cook. 6. We waste less. 7. The brain space we wasted thinking about what to eat, what to cook, when to go pick things up, crap-I-forgot-an-ingredient --- Poof! Gone. Which, working full time while part time grad school, any and all brain space I can allocate to my work is priceless for me. From Week One: Flexibility with schedule and menu planning was made easy for us - We come home and our kitchen tools and pans lovingly (and somewhat expensively) acquired over time are clean - There are delicious dishes made with quality ingredients ready for devouring in the fridge. We are so grateful for the difference The Skinny Beet has made in our quality of life. Seriously, I wasn't kidding: Miracle Workers.
