I went into a lingerie store in Bedford last week - September 3 - in hopes of an exchange due to a…read morefaulty product. I was asked to come back the following day to speak to a manager but I felt uncomfortable with the ask for pictures of my bust in the bra. I never went back, instead a few days later I made a post to ask if others had ever had the same experience. Less than 24 hours after the post was made, on September 7 the manager reached out to me. She advised she would review the video footage and apologized I felt uncomfortable with their policy. She assured me that she had the bra in stock and I could come in Monday for an exchange. A few hours later I miss 2 back to back calls from the manager again. (Apparently they were pocket dials). Out of politeness I called back, she was infuriated. Claiming my post had caused harassment to her employees and that this has been made into a bigger issue than it was. I apologized - for if there was truth to this claim it was not my intention. (We'll ignore her using my customer information to call me multiple times on the weekend to discuss anything other than business). With hesitation, I went in today (September 9) I thought it could go one of two ways; I'd either have no issue exchanging the item, or it would be another argument. Unfortunately, it was the argument. For once, I had little to say other than that I would be posting about my experience, and thanks for wasting my time (I never got a new bra). A whole 10 minutes of back and forth ensued with the manager and another employee. The last 5 minutes I was just insisting my information be taken out of their system. They prolonged this by walking away from the computer multiple times and trying to continue an argument. All of this humiliation over a $100 bra. I was asked multiple times for photos of my bust in the bra to determine if it was faulty. Apparently you can't see it any other way. To clarify: I am not arguing the no returns or exchanges policy (I appreciate this from a lingerie store). I am baffled by their manufacturers issues policy of taking a picture of the bra on the customers body

I was just window-shopping in the "hood", and came upon this, and thought "Why not check it out?" The kind and helpful staff was at the ready, should I have had some questions about anything. The store generally does cater to women or the homosexual culture, but I didn't feel any "do not come in" vibe walking into the store. The store is basically a sex shop but it also has great books, mostly for around $20 that deal with sexuality, understanding where you fit in the world of sex and understanding where society is at. So I would say it is a sex conscious shop, if that makes sense. The staff are very friendly to everyone although I felt like I had an invisible cloak on because I wasn't being helped or even acknowledged. I later on found out I wasn't, in fact wearing an invisible cloak when I tried to get on the bus and not pay for it. Just kidding. This shop has everything you need to learn about sexuality. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. They weren't saying hi to me but I'll go back and give them another chance. Radical Concepts caters to those who love fashion and deep pockets. Here you will find Ed Hardy Shirts for women. I love Ed Hardy, these T-Shirts and tops are one of a kind in there. I did not see too many multiple of one thing. The average shirt was $150 - 200. Jeans- If you like Christina Aguilera, you will love this shop. They carry her jeans and they are nice! So is the price tag, $350.00. They carry Hoodies, Bathing-suits, and also accessories. Really cool things in here. I am sure they have a great clientele. It is not a huge store, but it is packed full of goodies. The gal working there was pleasant, she and a couple friends were talking. She said hello and asked if I needed any help. Go here only if price is not an issue. But you will not be sorry, you will look pretty awesome in these clothes.

Or as my husband would say "it a place for hippies." They had lots of cool sterling silver jewelry from Thailand. The prices were quite reasonable too. They had lots of earrings and bracelets in the $10-$25 range. I really didn't look at much else in the store, but they had beads, wooden knick knacks, pillows, and clothing that looked like they were from Nepal, Indonesia and Thailand, among other things. I loved these kinds of stores in my middle school and high school years, but it's not quite my aesthetics anymore, with the exception of the jewelery, because I still love sterling silver, it's the most suitable metal for my colouring. One of my favourite things that caught my eye were things fabulous creatures called Sweet & Sour Gargoyles, they are made in PEI, and are worth every penny. The average was about $100.00. The artists that make these have fantastic imaginations. I want one! This is a must have for me, it is on my list , a collapsible water bottle in lots of colours, made by Vapur. This is freezable, dishwasher safe (top rack),rolls up, stands up when full, has a place to write your name on it, this is such a great bottle, is any of my family is reading this, guess what, you are getting one as a gift. These are only $11.99, a great deal. They also have in the back of the store a nice selection of baby gifts. There is a great item there, they are bears that you insert the hot water battle or cold. This store has lots of options for you to choose from. Kayla told me that they try to support the Canadian artists as much as possible. Most of the products they seek out are Canadian made. Here you will find…read morewonderful sales and a great selection of designer goods, Mexx etc. The selection will vary from casual to dressy business attire. I like the variety, it has something for all ages. The store has a very nice owner and she always goes out of her way to help her customers. She has created a great following of clients. The store is very tastefully decorated, not overly stuffed, actually enjoyable to look through. The sales staff does not pounce on you when you walk in either.

The service is excellent and not at all pushy. I've been shopping at Suit Yourself for at least ten years now. Even though I might only drop by once or twice a year, Lori who works there always remembers my size and frequently remembers pervious purchases so I can coordinate pieces. I was in last week to buy a dress to wear to a lunchtime wedding and no sooner were the words out of my mouth, then Lori correctly confirmed my size and went off to pull pieces. I did not lift a finger in selecting pieces and she chose a few things I would not have chosen myself. I ended up with two dresses and a lead on a Christmas party dress. One stop shopping success! Some of the items may seem intimidating for a laidback shopper like myself when looking at them on the hanger, but with feedback and coaching from Lori you can easily snag a great catch that will enter you into the realm of the fashionista. Many of the pieces you can wear for years to come. The store carries brand names like Mexx, Kensie, and JS Studios as well as a collection of funky accessories. The only drawback is that on Saturdays service sometimes suffers because of the extra customers from the farmer's market. Pop by anytime through the week for lots of great shopping.

Not only does this location have new beautiful purses lining the walls and hanging from every direction she also carried some cloths. Her jewelry selection is very different ranging from hair clips to broaches and purse jewelry. I must say as well when I was there in the back was here clearance section in which I did not leave empty handed. I found a beautiful snake sin high sandals for summer for $20 busks. So I walked out with shoes, hair clips and a purse all for $45 gotta love it!
