If you're a cyclist or just like and/or go through shoes quickly Ardennes is where you should be looking. Some of my favourite pairs of shoes came from Ardenes. No, they didn't last long, but they looked cute, comfortable and the price was right. You usually get a bogo deal on shoes there I'm aware that it's the store for younger people and I would never buy the bottoms or most of the tops there but I have found one or two T-shirts that I like such as ringer tshirts, plain ones, cute ones...buy one for five dollars get one for a dollar I mean, come on. it's not the best store but it is what it is. I like it personally. I just bought two pairs of sunglasses there today. Bogo, baby.

They seem to carry a variety, ie: jewelery, cloths, hats, purses, socks and more socks, funky tops, etc, etc. You can get some good deals, like 5 packages of socks for $10.00. Keep in mind , these will not last long, I call them disposable cloths. But for the young girls, it is a great place to shop and not break the bank. Keep in mind, it is an exchange policy only.

Or as my husband would say "it a place for hippies." They had lots of cool sterling silver jewelry from Thailand. The prices were quite reasonable too. They had lots of earrings and bracelets in the $10-$25 range. I really didn't look at much else in the store, but they had beads, wooden knick knacks, pillows, and clothing that looked like they were from Nepal, Indonesia and Thailand, among other things. I loved these kinds of stores in my middle school and high school years, but it's not quite my aesthetics anymore, with the exception of the jewelery, because I still love sterling silver, it's the most suitable metal for my colouring. I had a great time browsing their large jewelery section. I almost bought the cutest bracelet, but it was a tad too big for me :( Staff were very nice. I always stop by when I'm in Halifax to poke around a bit, and be reminded of my style as a teenager, lol.
