After weeks of the kids begging us to take them, we finally had a free weekend morning to check out Get Air. Get Air is in the old Brewdebaker's location in Burnside. Don't you notice how long-time Haligonians always tell you where something is by what used to be there? We weren't really prepared for the chaos. It was loud: there was music blaring over a sound system, kids screaming and really busy- not everyone's idea of a good time. There was a semi-organized line leading up to a counter which we got in but then realized that we had to fill out waivers for the kids. That wasn't too bad as one parent waited with the kids while the other filled out the waivers on the provided terminals. Really glad there were two of us. We learned afterwards that you can fill these out online before you even come- we HIGHLY RECOMMEND DOING THIS. Once you do the waivers you don't need out fill them out again, or so we were told. The line crawled to the front and the wait was made worse that someone (else) was polluting the air (if you know what I mean). Not the business' fault but it sure didn't make the long time waiting go quicker :(. Once we got to the counter, we then found out that even if you aren't going to go on the trampoline you need to fill out a waiver as well. By this time the line-up had grown and was almost out the door. We had some frustrating confusion when staff members gave us conflicting info which was made worse by our kids who were jumping at the bit to hit the trampolines; one staffer said we had to get back in line once we filled out the parent waivers, and another said we didn't. We ignored the former and just showed our waivers to the staff at the front desk. All that done we finally got onto the fun... The Good -There is lots to do and the place is HUGE; your kids probably won't even have a chance to think about saying "We're bored!". -There are different areas, and activities for different ages- no one is left out. -It feels safe. There are lots of staff on the floor keeping an eye on things. The Not So Good -It is expensive... you pay by the hour. For two kids (one was a junior jumper) and the socks they make you buy your first visit it was close to $40!! There isn't really anything else to compare it to in Halifax, but I know at that price it will be a once in a while kind of thing for us. We could almost have two visits at Hop, Skip Jump for the whole day for what we paid for one hour at Get Air. -They need a dedicated entrance and exit door- right now there is only one door and it gets congested with people trying to come in and out of the same, narrow place I'm sure we will go again but will try to aim for an off-peak time next visit. My daughter is already talking about wanting to have her birthday there. Hopefully we'll have a bit more streamlined pre-jump next time... read more

dangerous. misrepresented what is available. no mitigation of risk. condescending and argumentative staff and management. I'm shocked a company this big would allow a location to be so poorly managed. understaffed and dirty. would not refund when asked within 5 minutes of arriving and realizing that the designated small kid area was not in fact 'designated' making it extremely unsafe. no staff on the floor to monitor. if the company has any sense they will clean slate , and look for suitable management. read more

Not impressed. Paid for two hours. Had to leave after an hour when someone broke their leg and paramedics had to come. The young man was screaming in pain so loud. Staff was oblivious to the condition and did nothing but laugh and carry on in their break room. They do not care about your safety. The place is terribly dangerous. Staff is only interested in you signing the safety waiver and then going back on break. The place is filthy dirty. Staff does not clean. Lights are blown out throughout the play area. Trampolines are worn and very dirty. Extremely hot inside. No ventilation or fans running. No music. Horrible atmosphere. No one is wearing masks. No one is washing their hands ever. Bathrooms are disgusting dirty. Urine and deuces all over. My children could not use the washrooms due to how dirty. No one was cleaning the entire time at the park. Do yourself a favour, avoid going here. They do not care about your safety and it shows. *Update: Not impressed with the lack of response from Get Air. Very unhappy family. Was looking into taking myself and children for covid testing due to the lack of proper covid prevention measures at the park. read more

Took my grandson, paid for 2 hours, after we got into the play area a staff member came over and said I was only to use the back corner?? Because he was small and the other kids coming in were bigger even though they never mentioned it before I paid. He's 4 BTW. He wasn't allowed to use the trampolines either. Staff member was rude and I do not recommend this facility read more

absolUte BS ! A month ago they looked at my husband and I like we had 8 heads when we walked in, got told to make reservations due to Covid, NOW March 19, called to make a reservation and now it's first come first serve. When driving all the way from lunenburg that's not a possibility. completely disheartening read more

Where do I start,,, if your a mom this is a great place to take the kids and blow off steam , they have a parents corner and i say i spent most of my time using the massage chairs. short staff but when i was there, they where spraying and cleaning around the park , park bathroom could use a good painting but other wise clean and stocked , floors look dirty from stains and just plan ugly color! Great for kids with autism by sons friend jumps for free! During the week days i come with my kids and i am able to get extra work done but would not recommend doing this during the weekend. It can get loud and noisy with the music and kids ,,, but i mean it is a KIDS PLAY PARK right?! Mask rules are sufficient for this type of children's play park and they have spray and wipes around the park for quest to use to sanitize , unfortunately no mask to purchase. I no longer use my gym pass! i come here with the kids and we have memberships! read more

Hi Korey, thanks for choosing Get Air for your family fun! We love…
Awesome place! Kids or adults..... Halifax finally has a great indoor facility for everyone to have fun!! It's a busy place....if you come as a family, Register everyones names before you line up to pay or get the kiddies to line up and have one person register the names and birthdates. There are a few computers against the wall when you enter doors before lining up. You can pay for one or two hours. For two hours, it is $25. Per person, plus you have to buy their Velcro socks. Came to $95. For 3 kids and 3 pairs socks. Located where Brewdsbakers use to be on Windmill, lots of parking. read more

The staff at Get Air were friendly, helpful and efficient. They know how to work with kids and adults. Both the girl and the chap today. It was clean, cold enough to keep the kids going especially with the heat wave we've been having. The boys had a wonderful time and with Covid-19 it is not easy for the staff but they wore masks, explained to the kids how to social distance and about wearing masks! We will definitely be back they made us all feel so welcomed! Thanks guys! read more

I say four stars but my son would give it five :) It's a great indoor activity when the weather is bad but I find it a little expensive.

I love get air! It's perfect for birthday parties! The ninja course is fun too. The reason this isn't 5 stars is because it is quite boring for parents, and it doesn't have a café or anything like that. Also, the staff aren't really that helpful and/or friendly. Lastly, many children break their legs at this popular place, and although you can't really prevent that from happening to your little one, it could prevent them from having a fun time with friends. Many cautious moms don't want their kids at this place, so your child's best friend may not see all there besties. Also, beware, this place is expensive. If your child is younger they may prefer hop skip jump, because younger children don't have many things to do here. The little kids area is quite tiny and as I said before, since the staff aren't the best, your child may or may not get toppled over from a running tween read more

Would of been better if the younger girl with the long brown hair didn't watch your every move making you feel uncomfortable and like you were doing something wrong. She consistently yelled which was extremely annoying. She should directly tell the person that is not following the rules what they were doing wrong instead of being lazy yelling it from across the trampoline park because nobody knows who she is talking to. Will not be going back. read more

We loved Get Air! It is so much fun. My oldest loved everything and she enjoyed that could practice her tumbling there too. She got her back tuck because of the help of you foam pits! Thank you! She is so happy I think she might bounce off my walls. We definitely will be there plenty more times. The staff was nice and answered all of my questions. I loved that they have a dedicated area for smaller jumpers. That is so smart. We even bought gift cards for our friends to try it out. We are thinking my daughter will want to have her birthday party there in a few months, we will see. I would recommend this to anyone. read more

Great place!! Would recommend that everyone should go and experience it!! They play really good music and the staff are really friendly and nice!! My first time there the lady working at the desk named Courtney was so helpful at answering all my questions (I had many as a new jumper). It seems Get Air is very busy but I've noticed that the staff treat every customer with respect! There are many different areas to jump and many different activities to try including basketball and dodgeball!! So much space!! Fun for anyone of any age!! read more

Took both of my kids here ages 4 and 6. Both had an amazing time and was always entertained and never seemed to be a dull moment. But, prepared to wait in a line-up for 10-30 minutes. Needed a few more people on cash. Would've have given it five stars if it weren't for the wait. read more

I have heard of Get Air, and my wife has heard many good things about, so we decided to take our kids there, and it was very impressive when we first walked in the door. If you are willing to wait 15 - 30 minutes in line, it is definitely worth the wait, my kids had a blast! read more
