We filled up our car at this station and immediately afterward the car started running very strangely. It would hesitate when the gas pedal was pressed, then it was difficult to start. It continued to get worse until I took it in to the dealership service department only to learn that we had $3,000 worth of damage (ruined fuel injectors, etc.) due to a bad tank of gas. I called the station and they tell me they have had no other problems. I stopped in a few days ago only to hear the same thing from a clerk. I was told by the dealership's service department, and by a mechanic who has taken care of this car since we owned it, that they are seeing this more and more often due to bad gas. The problem is that it is very difficult to prove it was bad gas! I'm told we should purchase only from the major gas companies. I thought Citgo was a major gas company but apparently not. read more
