Recently visited this location just because of its made to order food since I was a bit hungry. Casual Sheetz location right by my hotel and very close to the highway as well. Store was pretty clean and it was pretty busy at 10pm. Tons of Doordash orders are the reason your wait times could be long. Refrigerated drinks were fairly priced as well. Thankfully it wasn't loud! Was at the nearby Lenovo Center and wanted to pop out for a quick bite in between basketball sessions. It was a Friday during Lent so I was hoping for a nonmeat option like fish, a veggie burrito, or a good salad. Options were limited so I ended up with a veggie wrap, which was basically a salad in a flour tortilla. Not the most exciting or filling. They also forgot my iced chai drink so I had to show them my receipt and remind them. This location is right off of the highway, so I'm assuming it gets lots of business. read more

I'd like to say that fundamentally all Sheetz's should be about the same wherever you visit, but that's not always the case. I visit this location the most of any and you can tell that the folks working there actually seem to enjoy themselves. Their level of customer service is unlike the other stores I visit. Not that the others are bad in any way, but the folks at the store are little different. Whenever I pick up my orders, they are so friend and thank me for stopping by. The employees at this Sheetz location are fantastic, but the downside is that the air pump for your vehicle's tires is frequently out of order. I had a slow leak on one of my tires. When I arrived at this location, I was surprised to see the pump wasn't working. They should place an Out of Order sign. read more

This Sheetz is located a block from the I-40 entrance, which makes it super convenient. Not perfectly easy with turns and an intersection but good enough. The gas pump area is well covered and stocked properly. Squeegees, cleaning fluid and trash cans that are not overly full. Inside, a cooler of cold water that has discounts for buying two. And a whole bunch of other sodas and snacks for the road. I've got three hours of driving to get to Charlotte, so two bottles of water. Sheetz also has a made-to-order food counter. This Sheetz is located right off the I-40 interstate. It's one of the smallest Sheetz that I've been to. It's consistently busy -- day and night. After all, it's surrounded by office parks. The entrance in and be quite challenging with cars coming from the gas station and McDonald's. Please be careful coming in and out of there. I would avoid the lunch hour, it's a circus here. Overall, clean facility and average gas prices. read more

Stopped in @Sheetz while getting some gas. While pumping gas I looked at my receipt and I noticed on my receipt that I had a free sandwich. Since it was lunch time, I figured, why not, I am hungry. I went in and order a nice made to order sub. After a couple of bites I noticed that the sub was missing a couple of toppings. I love Sheetz! Being from Pennsylvania, I ate at Sheetz religiously as a college student and was so happy to see them in NC while visiting. The stores are always clean, the employees are always courteous and helpful. This is from PA to NC, consistent. My only "complaint" is that the MTO order stations have too many options, it's hard to decide what to eat. The food is better than any gas station you could eat at, that;s for sure, and probably better than some restaurants, with better prices. They even have a fee-free ATM machine inside. Sheetz needs to expand to Florida! I will gladly drive a bit out of my way to patronize this place. read more

Is it wrong to love a gas station? Ah, but Sheetz is so much more than just a gas station. They offer so many other options, sometimes I actually go there and don't even get gas. (Yes, I know, crazy!) For starters - get yourself a Sheetz customer loyalty card - you won't regret it. Right off the bat, you save yourself .3¢ on every gallon of gas. (You can swipe your Sheetz card right at the pump, and it will automatically deduct that .3¢.) They run great specials all the time for Sheetz cardholders. One of their current offers, for example, is three hot dogs for just $1.00 (with whatever toppings you want) that you can order using one of their touch-screens. They've not only got a wide selection of sodas, but they offer a choice of three different flavor "infusions" you can add to whatever you're drinking, one of them being an energy drink infusion. Their coffee selection is amazing, as well. In addition to their fresh brewed coffees (which even include a Vanilla Nut Cream flavor), they also offer a variety of what they call "Cupo'ccino" flavors. Instead of packets of sugar and cups of creamer, they have these machines where you basically select what type of sugar and/or creamer you want (chocolate, hazelnut, etc.,) plus the quantity, and it dispenses it into your cup for you. Very cool! I'm not a big cake/doughnut eater, but they make the BEST iced chocolate doughnuts here (buy 10 with your Sheetz card, get one free!). They have a bunch of other bakery items, but figured I'm consuming enough calories with this one, LOL. They've got a "beer cave" as well as a sun room type area inside to enjoy your food & drinks, as well as several outside patio tables. This is about as close as we're going to get to having a Sheetz in Cary. I've been a fan of Sheetz since '98 when they reached the WV market. And now 15 years later they're pretty common in North Carolina. They mailed us $20 in vouchers for free food, so I figured it was a good time to try this location out. It's a full service Sheetz - car wash, food, gas - 24x7. You order your food via touchscreen. If you're super hungry you can order at the pump while you gas up your vehicle. The car wash is very nice. I noticed the premium washed topped out at $8 when many of the local automated gas station washes are $10 or $12. Nice people inside working, hopefully that lasts. The walk-in beer cooler had the std macro beers, although they did have some six'ers of LoneRider. If you want local beer, go somewhere else like The Meat House. There's a light at the intersection so it's easy to get in and out. read more

Close the car wash permanently if you can't keep it open everyday. In the past six months I've maybe been able to hit this car wash twice, and every other time it's been closed. They have a beer freezer you walk into & they sell wine, but no gas stations in NC sell hard liquor. It's clean. There's an outdoor, automatic carwash. Gas is only $2.54 for 87 octane right now. Enjoy it while it lasts before we run out of oil. read more

Great customer service. I stopped by to get a few things I needed for snacks. When I went to the fountain machine I noticed the Brisk peach tea that I usually get was lighter than usual so I figured it was out. I went to the register and was greeted by a smiling Kegan whom I asked if they could check to see if it was out. He kindly said he would and immediately asked someone to check it out as he was the only cashier. After he clocked out he found me and asked if my issue had been reconciled I told him it still looked the same. He then went to the back and checked it came back and said everything looked good and suggested we try it together. Long story short my drink was great. Apparently Brisk changed something because it definitely didn't look like it normally does. Thank you Kegan for great customer service and making sure I left happy and with my favorite drink. I've only come to Sheetz occasionally for gas -- all other times, I've come to fulfill my carb-hungry appetite or to satisfy my craving for a nice cool Icee or milkshake. Their food selection is large, consisting of burgers, mex-American, chicken (wings, popcorn, sandwiches, etc), and pizza. As a side note: They advertise a "Dr. pepper BBQ dipping sauce": tempting, but don't get it. Too much Dr. pepper flavor and not enough BBQ. Not good. I would estimate their food to be on the level of your typical fast food chain, priced similarly also. However, sign up for a free Sheetz loyalty card and it'll save you a couple bucks on gas AND food ($.79 any size drinks, $1/3 hotdogs, for example). They also have a good coffee selection- boasting both specialty coffees (frappes, iced drinks) and espresso drinks. The rest of the store caters to your usual gas station stop needs: candy, beer, soda, and the like. Four stars for satisfying food, good service, value, and cleanliness. read more

Sheetz is the ultimate in convenience and it's so much more than a gas station. They offer a "made to order" food menu served 24 hours with self serve touch screen ordering. The quality of the food is miles ahead of typical fast food restaurants and comparable to even some full service restaurants. They have an app so you can order from your phone or computer and have it ready when you show up. They have a great beer selection open until 2 AM. They have everything else you could want from a gas/convenience store. I went in looking for a bag of charcoals for grilling and they had them. They even have a car wash! read more

Went here to get some food after work. Had to wait 25 minutes on food (only one couple ordered ahead of us). This is normal for this location though. I ordered an appetizer sampler with ranch, marinara, and nacho cheese as sauces along with some other food. When we got our food, we checked the bag to make sure everything we ordered was in there. While we were doing this the guy working the counter rolled his eyes and said "everything is in there!" And I told him I was missing my appetizer sampler. He turned around, grabbed it off a counter behind him and dropped it on top of the bag. While we were walking out we realized we didn't have any of the sauces we payed for but we didn't care enough to go back in and get them because we were over the bad attitude in there. Also my friends cheeseburger didn't have cheese on it. By far the worst sheetz experience I've had. I frequent this location often and I'm very disappointed to write this review. read more

Three stars because I like sheetz as a company. I lived in Western PA where sheetz was a staple. Getting three stars because I was turned down for food because I guy "threw up" in the lobby and they were unable to make food. There was no sign of any "throw up" and I don't understand why that affected the kitchen which is completely separated from the lobby. Poor service st this sheetz, great company overall. read more

Great selection of bottled drinks, food on the go or made to order, and a huge selection of fountain sodas. To top it off, their car wash rocks and they've got free air for tires. As much as I like Sheetz I must say I've had a couple of negative experiences. On two separate early Friday mornings I ordered my favorite breakfast sandwich--sausage and egg on a pretzel roll, with lettuce, tomato, and pico de gallo. About an hour after consuming the sandwich I began to experience indigestion. I believe one or more of the above condiments was tainted, due to improper handling. I will continue to patronize Sheetz when I am up in Pennsylvania, or perhaps even the Miami Boulevard store, but not the Raleigh/Cary store off of Chapel Hill Road. read more
