I've been using Flatiron cleaners about once per month for the past 7 mos. Great prices, great work, always on time, friendly staff. No buttons broken to date. I trust her with everything -- and I mean everything. I regularly bring in designer and luxury pieces from Miu Miu, Prada, Chanel, and other high-end brands, including a Maria Lucia Hohan dress that cost over $4,000. I would not hand those pieces over to someone I didn't completely trust. Every time, my clothing has come back beautifully cared for. The same goes for my more everyday pieces from places like Zara and Reformation. I also regularly wear spray tans, so I have unfortunately brought in more than a few pieces with pretty significant staining. She has always been completely upfront with me about what she thinks she can remove, whether something may not come out 100%, or whether she needs additional time to work on it. I really appreciate that honesty rather than someone promising something they can't guarantee. And it's not just dry cleaning. I bring my expensive bedding here, and I've had her do alterations on dresses, skirts, curtains -- honestly, at this point, just about everything. After more than three years and countless items, I have continued coming back because I trust her and have consistently had a great experience. I send my friends here and recommend her all the time. When you're handing someone clothing, dresses, and household items that are genuinely expensive or sentimental, trust matters, and she has absolutely earned mine.

A few months ago, I brought a suit in for dry cleaning and when I got the dress shirts back the buttons had some white flakes coming off them. I took it back and they said it might be some cleaning product deposit and could be scratched off. Cool, but ideally something they should have caught and fixed themselves. 2. Today I brought my suit in to drop off for cleaning 20 minutes before closing only for the man behind the counter to say "sorry we just closed 5 minutes ago because I want to get out of here early." Not only was he unwilling to accept my drop-off, he seemed extremely unapologetic and out of it (was he sober? I hope so) during the whole conversation, and also twice referenced "it's a Sunday" (it was Tuesday) as if that explains why he decided to close early. Terrible customer service. Due to these interactions, I think I will take my dry cleaning elsewhere from now on. I hope the business is able to clean up their practices in the future!
