The waitress left without asking what we wanted to drink or acknowledging they we were there. mean time Hosteses kid stood at end bar, the owner behind bar chitchat with a customer who was leaving. After ten minutes we left. I am not sure how you don't actually take at least drink order and send out with the hostess. Maybe stop standing behind the bar and ask if we like a drink, two Diet Coke would have been it. I heard place has sold. To the new owner, good service or any service is better then customer not being helped. Maybe hire another waiter and not have a hostess. Or train the hostess to multi task. This place could be a valuable restaurant. We will wait to we hear it has new owners to return

Ordered the ribs and they were fabulous although they looked a little dry to me The pizza was delicious and Cross was amazing although I would've liked to had a little bit more sauce and next time I'll ask for that The only disappointment was the walleye. It had virtually no flavor and I would not order that again The server was outstanding and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice Very clean Definitely worth a try just stay away from the walleye lol lol

A hidden gem in North Michigan!…read more I was visiting Alpena for a diving trip and was recommended this place. Specifically the Fire Burger and their Poutine. Our party was 6, they gave us "outdoor beers" and a pager. When a table opened up we sat down and I was immediately impressed. Our server was friendly and helpful, super sweet. She handled our accommodations (one of my friends had a lot of specific "requests" for his meal.) We got the poutine and mozzarella sticks for our appetizers... holy sh*t.... The poutine was INCREDIBLE. The mozzarella sticks were clearly house made. Just absolute perfection. I took the recommendations of my friend, and got the Fire Burger... insane. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Great beers. Great apps. Great burger. Just an all round great time. You owe it to yourself to try this spot.... And if you don't think so, you probably hate puppies and America.

The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Their menu is primarily burgers although they have a vegetarian black bean burger option. You can order one of their creative burgers or build your own. They allow you to substitute wagyu beef on any menu burger as well. I ordered the Green Envy, which had white cheddar cheese and olive tapenade. I asked to have it cooked well done. It had a slight bit of pink but nothing I couldn't stomach. The olive tapenade added a salty taste but the burger wasn't salty so it was balanced. My husband ordered a Wagyu burger and asked for it to be cooked medium but it was medium rare at best but he still ate it. The burgers come with chips. I opted to order the appetizer Truffle Fries. They were very good - the right amount of sauce with Parmesan sprinkled on top. We will come here again - there were many burgers I wanted to try and what we had was good.
