Maybe stop standing behind the bar and ask if we like a drink, two Diet Coke would have been it. I heard place has sold. To the new owner, good service or any service is better then customer not being helped. Maybe hire another waiter and not have a hostess. Or train the hostess to multi task. This place could be a valuable restaurant. We will wait to we hear it has new owners to return

Ordered the ribs and they were fabulous although they looked a little dry to me The pizza was delicious and Cross was amazing although I would've liked to had a little bit more sauce and next time I'll ask for that The only disappointment was the walleye. It had virtually no flavor and I would not order that again The server was outstanding and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice Very clean Definitely worth a try just stay away from the walleye lol lol

A hidden gem in North Michigan!…read more I was visiting Alpena for a diving trip and was recommended this place. Specifically the Fire Burger and their Poutine. Our party was 6, they gave us "outdoor beers" and a pager. When a table opened up we sat down and I was immediately impressed. Our server was friendly and helpful, super sweet. She handled our accommodations (one of my friends had a lot of specific "requests" for his meal.) We got the poutine and mozzarella sticks for our appetizers... holy sh*t.... The poutine was INCREDIBLE. The mozzarella sticks were clearly house made. Just absolute perfection. I took the recommendations of my friend, and got the Fire Burger... insane. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Great beers. Great apps. Great burger. Just an all round great time. You owe it to yourself to try this spot.... And if you don't think so, you probably hate puppies and America.

I was struggling to decide between the Prime Rib and the Lasagna. I was prompted to try the lasagna since it was made fresh in house every day. I'm so glad k made this choice!! My only disappointment is the atmosphere - it is always dark and kind of depressing. It is just the style of the restaurant and not my preference. It isn't a knock.

This restaurant is located in the clubhouse of the Thunder Bay golf course in Hillman Michigan…read more It's a good local option for dinner so we stop each time we are in town. My fave server is Crystal but we weren't sitting in her section on this visit. The other servers are good but Crystal immediately makes you feel like you are at her house and she's taking good care of you. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Buffalo Wrap with tator tots and hubby got the Michigan Our Way Salad. There were others in our group and one of them got the Creamy Chicken Pasta special. I have to talk about that pasta dish first. I tried a bite and it was done perfectly - al dente rigatoni, with the perfect amount of white sauce, chicken, bacon, and cheese. There was a slight cheese pull when I took my bite from the dish and it tasted divine. I wish this was a regular menu item - it was light and tasty! When my order arrived, I noticed it had tomatoes in it and it did not specify that on the menu. Upon closer review, I realized they served me the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap instead so they took it back and made me the Buffalo Chix Wrap. While this has more of a casual bar atmosphere and the decor is quite aged, the food is always fresh and delicious (and huge portions!) so my rating is a 4. It does take a while for it to be prepared so don't expect to sit and eat and leave all within 30 minutes. Enjoy your time and know you will be served a delicious meal by a team that works very well together.
