Vacationed in Playa in May 2017 for15 days. I was looking for things to do and wanted to find a place that offered Private Tours as I did not want to go on a bus with 50 others, not my thing. I found these guys on Yelp and Social Media.
Talked to them and they explained they were Playa Paddle & Private Tours now which was great because I wanted the private tours as there were 5 of us.
So, we went out on 3 separate occasions... I got a paddle board lesson in a incredible Lagoon outside of Tulum then we spent another 3 hours there enjoying paradise. After that part of this day included a meal, we wanted something authentic. So, we went into the Aukumal Pueblo area and had grilled chicken, rice and beans... Best chicken we ever had
2nd excursion was a Private Tour for us of a Cenote and Cave called Santa Cruz.. We were blown away... The beauty was priceless and we had it all to ourselves, did I say priceless! Dom there we went to the Monkey sanctuary, we had to and glad we did... Then we went to eat... We went to a local Pizza place called Don Chendo, ok we all agreed how is it that the best Pizza is in PDC...
3rd excursion was classic as after the first 2 meals we wanted to do a Foodie Tour so they linked us up with Playa Del Carmen Eats & Drinks... We did the Local Affair tour... We visited 4 places, drank great drinks and ate AMAZING food as well as got a great education from Liz our foodie tour guide...
So, we traveled by van, just us which was great. We were never rushed, as they said its your vacation you are in control.. They also provided snacks. Water, soda and beer and were a wealth of knowledge.
Prices per day were all inclusive, entry fees and all. Example, day 2 was $189 per person which was a bargain as entrance fees alone was $120 without transportation, booze, dinner and the extras like our stop at amazing beaches... We felt it was a bargain... On the final day we all pitched in and gave them a $100 tip for the experience of a lifetime... My phone got wet, hoping I can fix to share pics read more
