It's tough trusting anyone with your fur baby and it was hard for me as well. However, after meeting Emily and Ariana, I felt great about their ability to care for my pup while I was away. I have a very shy dog and at the end of the time away, she was very comfortable with Emily and even excited to see her. Very happy with Playa Paws! read more

Can't rave enough about Ariana, she's the best. She truly adores animals & they love her right back. So much so that Bella tries to go to her house when we are on walks. When she spots Ariana in the streets - she B lines it to go see her. When I pick up after boarding, Bella tries to go back to Ariana's. These pics are from a time recently when I was walking Bella (on leash) & she was so excited to run over to Ariana walking a sweet gentle group of dogs. To prevent Bella's leash from potentially getting tangled & her getting trapped - since she's 4lbs, I took Bella off leash momentarily while I was standing right there. Bella immediately joined the pack, turned & looked at me - with a posture & demeanor as if saying - "what's up mom, I'm with my crew." It was all the feels. Ariana's a dog whisperer for sure. read more

Ariana is so great with our 7 month old puppy! We have had Ariana do both dog sitting (2 nights) and dog walks in the afternoons. Our dog is always so excited to see her that she jumps up and down and instantly lays on her back. Ariana is super responsive and sends photos, which is helpful being out of town. One time she was even nice enough to go pick up medication for our dog from the vet while we were gone. Highly recommend! Thank you, Ariana! read more

We have been using Ariana's service for almost two years now. We couldn't be happier with Ariana and her staff. We know that our dog is always in good hands and is getting the best attention. Ariana is so great with communication - post walks of what happened and photos! She's also incredible if you need last minute help with walks. Huge lifesaver!! And most importantly our dog loves her and her walks with the crew everyday! read more

I have left my dog with Ariana a lot of times. My dog usually does not likes to leave me but it is the complete opposite with Ariana, he just loves being with her. She takes him to hikes, regular walks, play dates to other puppies and makes him have the best time of his life. I also left my dog with her for 1 week during the holidays and it went completely perfect. I would recommend her to any dog sitter and my planning to leave my dog again with her for another week. read more

Playa Paws - Dior with Ariana. He loves her! - Dog Walkers Near Me

Wasted my time. Went back and forth for hours about my dogs and filled out the questionnaire, only to have them cancel the morning of my reservation. Had to frantically find my dogs new pet sitters since I had a flight booked later that day. Gas lighted me the night before saying she was so excited to meet them and hang with them over the weekend too. read more

I just wanted to share with other pet owners how Ariana is an amazing dog walker/sitter. More so, she's just amazing with animals (and people too!). She's naturally very loving and caring. She treats my dog like her own. It doesn't seem like a "job" for her. This alone is priceless and invaluable. It removes all worry from my mind, leaving my little puppy with her. I highly recommend her - she's a rare person with a genuine, loving heart. read more

Ariana is wonderful! Always available, easy to work with, and my dog adores her!!! I highly recommend if you're looking for a dog walker.

Our 14-year-old cockapoo has stayed with Ariana twice for short holidays, and I've been impressed by her punctuality, professionalism, and knowledge about the care of dogs. I have had zero anxiety about leaving our little rascal with her, and he seems happy as well. Highly recommended for our neighbors in Playa Vista (and beyond!). read more

As a single professional and mom to a 200 pound English Mastiff, the most important person in my life is my dog's caregiver. For 5 days a week, this is someone I must trust with access to my home and with the health and wellbeing of my dog. If you're looking for that same 'someone,' I highly recommend Ariana of Playa Paws. Forgive the lengthy review...hope this is helpful. I randomly met Ariana at Bluff Creek Dog Park in Playa Vista and observed her taking care of 'her' dog who was happily playing with mine. We struck up a conversation and, after telling her I was new to California, asked if she could recommend a dog walker. As it turned out, 'her' dog was a client's pup and I realized I'd struck gold. How often do you get to see how someone will treat YOUR dog when you're not there? I hired her on the spot. Ariana has been taking care of Betty Rose for a month and I highly recommend her. Business Basics: Reliable, trustworthy, communicative, true to her word, focused on the dog when together, delivers value. I can count on her. If you book a half-hour, you get a half-hour. Critical Caregiver Attributes: 'Loving Alpha' - Ariana is clearly the leader of her pack and does so in a gently assertive, loving manner. English Mastiffs are tough...you need to give them a reason to do whatever it is you're asking of them. Like all dogs, they're extremely sensitive to the energy of the person holding their leash. As with any new relationship, my dog was a little hesitant at first. Fortunately, Ariana is patient and understands the importance of building trust and connecting with the dogs she cares for. It was only a few days before they were in an easy routine and I was coming home to a noticeably happier dog. Dog. Whisperer. - Most people lack the know-how and confidence to effectively handle a 200-pound dog. It boils down to mutual respect earned by showing the dog that you speak their language. Ariana has that in spades so I am confident that she can keep my dog and everyone they encounter together safe and happy. She also understands how dogs crave routine and prioritizes that for her clients. My Dog LOVES Her - I recently had the benefit of seeing what my dog does when Ariana comes. Unbeknownst to Ariana, I was working from home and was sitting in another room when she came in. My dog went from snoring in a stone-cold sleep to excitedly jumping up, tail-wagging, and barking with delight the second the key hit the lock. Seeing her sheer joy said it all. Capable With Special Needs - Betty Rose has mobility issues and needs assistance getting around which takes both brawn and patience...Ariana handles her masterfully. On the day we first met, the dog in her care had stitches from surgery and she watched closely to ensure he played safely. Ariana is also comfortable with administering medicines and ensuring care is rendered, need be. Avid Photographer - Ariana doesn't just take pictures of the dog, she does lots of selfies that allow me to see how they interact together. I can see the genuine love between the two of them. Finally, My Neighbors Give Ariana Rave Reviews - Not a day goes by that a neighbor doesn't mention seeing Betty Rose with Ariana during her daily visits. I love that Ariana has taken note of my dog's friends and encourages socialization and playtime. Too often you see a walker hurridly dragging a dog out for a quick potty break...no time for fresh air or interaction. Ariana's special gift is understanding what her pups need on any given day and her willingness to make sure they get it. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Ariana is great in helping when we are in pinch for dog walker and all her walkers do a great job

Ariana and her team are top notch! They love my pups Godfrey and Audrey Hepburn as much as I do! Always reliable and loving!

Arianna Literally saved my job and life. I am so particular about who watches my pooch and when I met Ari I was nervous but after trying her out for a week. I knew by the look on my pups' face that he was already in WUV with her. Ari send cute pictures and literally reads you mind as to what type of update you need. She is constantly updating me if I text her back. Or she will dutifully give me all the updates with great pictures. My updates were so sweet and charming that I had her add my mom to the thread and she absolutely loved the daily updates. Ari has a passion and personality for dog walking. She has a positive attitude and unlimited energy. I don't know what lucky star we found her under but she is my angel last year. We miss you Ari. Wish you all the success in 2020. We started using Playa Paws to walk our dogs a few months ago. We had just adopted a new dog who happened to have been born blind and were looking for a dog walker who would take care of him, in addition to his rambunctious and anxious 70 pound brother. Ariana came to our place to meet our dogs. She sat on the floor with them and took time to introduce herself to them and they took to her almost immediately. They both have a blast every time she walks them. We've been home a few times when she has come to pick them up and they both go sprinting toward the door to meet her. As a bonus to us humans, she takes the time to document their adventures and sends some pictures from their walls at the end of the day along with a recap of the walk. She responds quickly to texts and is reliable and professional. We know that our dogs are in excellent hands while Ariana is taking care of them. If you're looking for a dog walker we highly recommend Ariana. read more

Arianna is the absolute best! We are so happy we found her and playa paws. My husband and I left our sweet puppy with her for a full week and we are pretty sure she had a better vacation than we did! You can really tell that Arianna loves and cares for each of the dogs she watches. She gave such special attention to our pup, took her to the park almost everyday, and sent us the best photos and videos. I was really nervous about leaving our dog for the first time as she is very shy and has separation anxiety but she was so comfortable with Arianna and really came out of her shell. If you are looking for a dog walker or sitter look no further.. would recommend playa paws to anyone!! read more

Ariana is amazing with our nearly 15-year-old doxie. Since meeting Ariana in 2019, she continues to provide the same high level of care, which has built a special trust that means everything to us. Ariana's love and care are so exceptional that over time our doxie's behavior with other dogs and humans as well as her level of fitness improved beyond what we thought was possible. Thank you, Ariana! We highly recommend Ariana for all your pet needs. read more

Most dog people are kind-hearted but Ariana is a top notch true dog lover and it shows. She is responsive, compassionate, professional (pretty great photographer too) and very good with all types of dogs-animals. My Pipi took took her instantly and looks forward to her walks with Ariana. I have had several last minute-urgent requests and she has had a quick response time and luckily has been available with a smile on her face. Highly recommend and I give her 5 stars for sure. read more

We left our kitty for the first time with Ariana, and she was the purrrrrrr-fect pet sitter! Not only did our kitty absolutely adore her from the second they first met, but we could tell from all the daily cute photos and videos that she was taking excellent care of her and showering her with affection and plenty of quality play time. We even joked that we'd have to go away more often in the future, since our kitty would miss Ariana so much upon our return! What's more? I think she even "trained" our kitty unintentionally. She's even more playful and affectionate now than she was before. We couldn't ask for a better match and are so lucky we found Ariana! read more

I couldn't have found a more amazing Dog sitter. Arianna treated Jojo like he was hers. She spoiled him so he didn't want to come home. She sent pictures so I could see how he was doing.
