This place has peaked my interest in açaí bowl. Coco craze- Coconut is really good. I really liked how the fruits are chilled. The granola in this bowl is delicious. I really liked how they mixed coconut flakes, mango, pineapple, and banana. The yogurt in this dish really was delicious. I literally have been craving playa bowls after coming here. The inside was decorated with a beach theme with a tv that was looping a playa bowl that is located in New Jersey (I am assuming this was the original location). read more

I was pleasantly surprised by how well-made and tasty my açai smoothie was on this cold rainy day. I was in the mood for something to eat, but nothing too heavy so I went with a smoothie. It was thick, but easy to drink and well blended. The smoothie bowls are substantial and have a good amount of fruit and granola on them. The texture isn't grainy or gritty, and there aren't large seeds. I can't wait to try a green smoothie or smoothie bowl next! The staff was friendly and gave me the recommendations when I asked, and the one girl in the back making the smoothies was hustling and working, super hard to get our orders out very quickly. The restaurant is pretty large with plenty of seating and has a nice ambience in the front ordering area. It seems too large of a space, but they must get a rush, and need it. It wasn't particularly quiet, so this would not be a good place to study your work, unless you're OK with background noise. read more

Very disappointed today. My review is about service...not the food. I LOVE playa bowls. I tried to phone in an order and they will not take orders over the phone. Srsly? Only "on line and in person orders." It was extremely frustrating bc I had my elderly Mother in the car and it was 92 degrees out. Very difficult for her to get in and out of the car and too hot to leave her in the car. I pulled over to just do an on line order but I had to log in my info and do a password etc. pain in the rear and skipped it. I was close enough to the restaurant at this point therefore I just decided to leave her in the car with car running and air conditioner on but the line was too long and I just could not wait. No Playa bowls for us. If only they let me order over the phone. read more

This was my first experience at a Playa Bowls location - ever. Even though there was a location in Doylestown I had never made it there and this one is much more convenient for me! I will say that the restaurant is beautiful - I went a few weeks after opening and it looks really nice . I will say that the despite being so new the restaurant was a little dirty with caked on fruit on the tables. The entirety of my visit which was a few hours I did not see one staff member wipe down tables or sweep- which was a little disappointing - especially during the pandemic and with the LARGE amount of staff that was there. But on to the bowls - they were so delicious! I wasn't really sure what to order and luckily there are great descriptions posted above the cash register. I went with the electric mermaid and I'm really happy with my choice. It tasted very fresh, beautifully made and yummy! I definitely will be making this my new hang out spot, it is super relaxing and makes me feel like I'm on a tropical vacation. I just hope they improve their cleaning standards! read more

The bowl is good but service was lacking. There was a lot of staff, but it took an awkward amount of time before anyone acknowledged me or took my order. I was excited to see they have Poke bowls, since I'm allergic to the granola in the fruit bowls. I ordered one Cali bowl and waited. And waited. And waited. There were 5 people in the Poke bowl station. Talking. Just, chatting in a group. It was over 10 minutes before anyone even started building my bowl - and there weren't any other poke bowls being made, nothing was being made. I'm fine with getting along with co-workers but if there something to actually do - that's different. All in all, it took about 20-25 minutes for a 'quick' stop in for a single bowl. I would not recommend going if you're in a hurry! read more

My daughter and I both frequent Playa Bowls (Newtown, PA) quite often. We typically order the same exact bowls every time we go. On a few occasions when we're shopping in Warrington, we'll go to the Playa Bowls in Valley Square. Why were our EXACT bowls $10 more in total at the Warrington location than they were at the Newtown location? Just 4 days apart I might add. When we asked, the counter girl said that certain locations have higher prices. Crazy ridiculous. Each of our bowls cost approximately $4.65 more than the Newtown location is charging Shame on you Playa Bowls, Warrington. read more

So excited for a location closer than others! This space is huge and beautiful, plenty of seating with a garage type door that can open on nice days. It was busy, but the staff was working their tails off to get orders out quickly. I ordered ahead online and everything was read upon my arrival.
