When I asked if they carry it, I found out it is kept up front near the cash register. I also purchased egg roll wrappers and Japanese sweet potatoes. I looked at the whole bitter melon and wanted to buy it but it was not fresh. There was sliced bitter melon where when buying one cannot see the sides of the bitter melon and I didn't buy it. I don't like slimy. This store sells a variety of Asian foods, mostly Vietnamese. There are lots of selections of jarred and canned sauces. You should stop by to peruse the groceries they have. I saw fresh fish, fresh shrimp and fresh crabs too!

There were 8 customers in front of me, several behind me. One lady had two carts filled to overflowing. Most everyone had a pretty good size order. Almost everything was great - unlike the other local Aldi stores. Except...the checkout. It may even have been worse than the typical Aldi mess. I just wish they'd finally figure it out.

Upon entering the checkout line in your West Madison, AL store, I noticed there was a single line for 2 registers, which had around 10 customers waiting. Unfortunately, during this time, a couple decided to cut in line. I respectfully pointed out that there was one line and that the back of the queue was behind them. To my surprise, instead of addressing the issue, the individuals who cut reacted aggressively toward me, calling what they thought was an insult; to make me feel threatened and as though I did something wrong. nevertheless, "Karen," was meant insult and terrorize me. I found this behavior shocking and disheartening. Additionally, I observed that the store staff did not intervene or resolve the situation, allowing the conflict to escalate. How'd your staff politely said after seeing and hearing the altercation, there is one line and putting the persons who decided to cut the line to please wait your turn. This experience has left me concerned about the store's commitment to customer service and safety. Efficient line management and proper staff intervention are crucial in ensuring that all customers feel respected and valued. I hope you will take my complaint seriously and work on solutions to prevent similar incidents in the future.

My boyfriend and I went with the half-bushel for summer which we pick up every other week at the 12South Farmers Market. I love that they offer a payment plan, you commit to paying the whole price but they automatically deduct it from your bank account over a period of months to help split it up. We have not been disappointed with any delivery. The produce is ridiculously fresh and very clean. Another word that comes to mind is variety: kohlrabi, greens, beets, cauliflower, green beans, leaks, green onions, eggplants, kale, fresh herbs, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, radishes, rainbow chard, zucchini, hot peppers, potatoes, tomatoes, bok choy, lettuces, squash, garlic, and the best strawberries ever! We have friends who also get the 1/2 bushel on the opposite week to us and it's sooo much fun to compare and talk recipes. Our friends were able to go to the farm tour and said the farm itself is gorgeous. I guess they have a natural spring too which can make a big difference to how produce tastes, it's also all certified organic - Sweet! The family is very communicative via email about how things are going down on the farm, although this year has been a challenge for them since it's been so cool and wet, they let us know what's going on and they don't ever sound desperate or upset. That's what has been the most important thing to me, their honesty and communication. Some weeks our bushel is rather meek, but they make up for it the next week with extras. Their website is very descriptive and provides a lot of information about how CSAs work and how they run the farm. The older kids run the market table at 12South and they are sun kissed, beautiful and so friendly and welcoming. Seriously I feel like this families outlook, dedication, and warmth make the produce that much more wonderful! Can't wait to sign up for their Winter CSA soon!
