Great market. Would have liked it better if the cashier wasn't talking in her cell phone the whole time I was checking out.

They were only allowing three people at a time into the store and when you did get in you only were able to go about three feet into the store. This was my first time here so I am not sure of their normal process. Today it was wait in line, get inside, place your order, pay your money, and then wait in line agin for your food to cook. It appeared they only sell their food cooked as a "meal" where it includes potatoes, and corn. Not sure if they just sell frozen seafood because they were so focused today on just taking orders. One of the many stapled signs outside the store that I did not notice when I got there was one that said there would be a wait period of 30-40 minutes after you placed your order for your meal to be cooked. Oh, and their hours state they closed at 7:00 but the evening I was there they stopped taking orders at 6:15, good thing I got there a little early. I got the crab legs and crawfish. I can say that the meals I ordered were very good, but then by the time I go them I was pretty hungry. I will definitely be back.

This is going to be short and sweet... because well, it isn't tough to say the truth. Once you get…read moreseafood from A&V, you will make the drive when you want good, fresh, and reasonably priced seafood. It is THAT big of a difference from anywhere else in Huntsville that I had gotten seafood from, and I regret it taking me as long as it has to find them. The owner goes 2x/week to the gulf to load up coolers and bring the fresh haul back to the shop. There is no fishy smell, no slimy looking fillets or shellfish, just your briny smell of the ocean and the bounty that came from the sea. While the offerings can be seasonal, the gulf produces some standard things that will always be there: salmon, ahi, and yellowtail are sashimi grade and looked amazing. I was there for shrimp and you can get damn-near tiger sized gulf shrimp for the price the large grocers carry. No contest there. They also have things you don't typically see around here (fresh) - mahi, snapper, seabass, etc... the quality stands on its own here and the owners are a pure joy to talk with about their offerings. I won't buy seafood anywhere else, as long as I have the luxury to plan enough in advance.

Their coolers are full of all the Asian ingredients you could want. They have some things that no other market in town has. And if they don't have something that you want, they can order it for you. The kimchi is very good. They are open 7 days a week. I think their fresh seafood and veggies come in on Tuesday afternoons. I highly recommend this store especially over the much bigger store by 88 Buffet. They even have some Vietnamese prepared good. Even though they have food from all over Asia, I think they specialize in Chinese . Michael will always tell me how how to cook vegetables that I know nothing about.

It's been a convenient and familiar place for us, which is why this experience was so disappointing. During our most recent visit, my daughter walked in holding an apple she was already eating as we browsed. Almost immediately, the teller confronted us in a way that felt unnecessary insisting that she could not eat the apple inside the store. The manner in which this was handled felt far beyond a simple policy reminder--it felt uncomfortable. As an African-American family, the interaction left us feeling singled out and disrespected in a place we had previously felt welcome. No customer should be made to feel this way--especially in a business we've supported repeatedly. Based on this experience, I would strongly caution others, particularly African-American families, to think twice before visiting this location.

I like to look down on people who look down on things and it's with no small amount of humility…read morethat I confess to sitting at the new Grimaldis eating pizza with my wife laughing at the restaurant across the street called Chuck's Fish. We'd never heard of it and having recently returned from the gulf I was feeling rather smug about seafood. What could this Chuck know about it all? Feeling adventurous, we decided to walk over and check it out after eating an entire pizza. Pizza was pretty good. Chuck's Fish was epic. I love that there's no TV at the bar. I love the decor. I love the fact that the namesake was a civil rights attorney. I love the fact that I can get incredible sashimi and order our daughter a pizza that is just as good as the joint across the street. Chuck I apologize. I promised the bar staff I'd Yelp you up after the first visit but once bitten twice shy so I gave it another go. I'm at your bar now. Trudy is helping me out. She's a pro. So was the team here on Saturday. That's why I'm back in fact. The people. Also. The food. Can go on about the food. But. Y'all. Just come and experience it. This social media stuff is only good for so much. A nudge. A hint. An inkling. Hamachi ponzu with fresh jalapeño. Yes. Get that. Goyza with one perfectly crisped side? Yeah. Two of those. Catch of the day? Either way is gonna be good. Tks Charles!!!! You got two new regulars. Hopefully many many more.

The decor in here is absolutely beautiful. Our server Stephanie was the sweetest ever. She gave us recommendations and helped us navigate choices on the menu. I opted for a glass of their rosé while he got their old fashioned, wasn't his favorite since they did not have Buffalo Trace. He's not a fan of Bulleit. However he was alright with it. We got the Cowboy sushi roll and snapper necks as appetizers. Both very flavorful and cooked well. Having Louisiana hot sauce was the icing on the cake for him. Entrees we got were both mainly red snapper, he got it Parmesan crusted and I went for bronzed because it came with mango salsa over rice pilaf. He had risotto. Both dishes were very good, however they definitely could have benefited from a bit more salt (in our opinion). Green beans were cooked extremely well. We both cleaned our plates! As for desserts I went for the bread pudding and he opted for the creme brûlée since he had never had any. Bread pudding was absolutely immaculate and I'm glad Steph talked me into adding ice cream. He wished he had gotten my dessert after trying it but his creme brûlée was still pretty decent. Not a big custard guy. Overall this was a great experience and to help others gauge their bill, we spend a little under $200 before the tip. Not extremely cheap but not overly expensive. We just like trying it all - drinks, apps, entrees and desserts. Would love to come back soon!

I did not check out the bathrooms. The decor and lighting were all good. The food was really good, and our server was decent she was friendly but seemed like she had too many tables. I got a seafood boil with shrimp and crawfish and blue crab, The blue crab was a little disappointing as I though it was going to be just legs as most places would do but they put whole crabs in there which of course you can't eat 99% of a crab so it was just for the weight as you pay by the pound. Food was seasoned really good and it was all delicious.

Wanted seafood and what better choice than a boil. I went with combo 1 (snow crab, shrimp,…read moresausage, boiled eggs, potatoes, corn on the cobb). The seasoning choice is next, I did the juicy (cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper). And finally choose the heat. I went medium and you could feel slight heat, a step up to hot would have been ok. The boil itself was good. You must use the gloves and bib, don't worry about cool points you are there to eat. The flavors of the juicy was great and all the seafood was seasoned nicely. The corn was excellent. And service was super fast. The portions are good, I know snow crab is a challenge to get the meat since the legs are thin. The flavor was good with a lot of work. Recommend the king crab.
