We shared a slice of Martine's Pastry double chocolate cake and wow, it was divine, so rich, fudgy, and absolutely worth the indulgence. The variety of coffee choices was seriously next level! We shared a cup of their decaf espresso and it was smooth, bold, and perfectly balanced. Definitely a spot we'll be revisiting. And then finally one meandered on up, and while e they were kind and friendly, the service was just oh so slow which was quite frustrating. It's the perfect spot for breakfast, lunch, or even a drink at the bar, but it's also great if you just want to grab a latte to go and do a little shopping. If you visit when the butterflies are in season, make sure to take a stroll to the butterfly house on the side of the building - it's a small, peaceful getaway. Sometimes they even have moths in a cage inside the store, which is always interesting to see. I've been to hundreds of coffee shops across the country, and this is truly my favorite of all - and it just happens to be right next to my neighborhood.

The drink wasn't overly sweet, bitter or watery. It tasted decadent, different than other coffees I've tried in the best way. The latte sounds incredible on paper but the cinnamon bun flavor didn't quite come through, and while the Eggs in Heaven dish itself is a good concept, my eggs were unfortunately not cooked to my liking. We really enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying our breakfast! Service was good, a little slow but they were very friendly!
