Power Bowl

Good bowls but definitely gives chain restaurant vibes. We tried a couple of the bowls, they acai base is ok, a little sweet but not bad. The Mango base is really sweet and syrupy, which isn't my favorite but some people may like. Just depends on how you like your bowls. HUGE variety of bowl options, which is nice. We also tried a couple of their cold brew options, both were excellent. We also tried some of their pumpkin protein bites, tasty little snacks Staff was all super friendly. They were getting absolutely crushed by the crowd when we came in, but still smiling and churning out bowls.

There are so many smoothie and açaí places in Lexington, but Playa Bowls is the best one in my opinion! The ingredients are fresh and consistent. I've been a few times and have loved everything I tried, especially the Pura Vida Bowl and the oatmeal bowl! They have a massive menu and so many options to choose from. The inside is spacious and there are seats outside as well.

So happy to have our very own Playa Bowls in Lexington! I tried the Goldie Mango Bowl, Dolce Latte Smoothie, and Aloha Smoothie. All were very unique and flavorful. Service was very helpful and fast. The inside is decorated so cute and on theme for the coastal vibe! Can't wait to try other smoothies and bowls!

Coco Craze Coconut Bowl

First time trying Playa Bowl and I got the Coco Craze at Playa Bowl because I love coconut, and it did not disappoint! It came with crunchy granola, mango, pineapple, dried coconut, honey, and small pieces of frozen blueberry. The combination was incredibly refreshing and perfect for the hot weather right now. The staff was super helpful and nice, making the experience even better. Even though the environment can be a bit loud, it's always clean and colorful, which adds to the fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!"

My wife and I have been to countless Acai/Smoothie spots over the years but this chain is by far the best. It's consistently clean, friendly and delicious! Hope it never changes

I'd try it with a cold foam on top for next time. They have a pretty extensive menu and I can't wait to try more of their options while I'm in the area.

I worked all week at the hospital 12 hour shifts towards my residency, and that weekend I went to get my drink on Saturday (the day after my actual birthday) since I had worked on my birthday and the manager had told me no, that it was against policy. I was just curious and confused, considering that Starbucks and Dutch bros give you 30 days to redeem. I wasn't angry, just disappointed. But the worst part was the manager's delivery. She was rude, short, condescending and dismissive when I was genuinely curious as to what their policy was. She gave me her name and told me to contact her manager "if I had a problem" and I really didn't. I think she was used to customers fighting against her. I was taken aback because I was being respectful and I was listening, but she was aggressive. I spend many of my days taking care of patients who are ill and don't feel well. So I understand when someone is projecting their emotions. But in understanding this, I know that I always provide true customer service and patients. You never know what someone is going through, and just a simple drink. I will never bring my service to 7 brew again, and will have to let others know.

California resident and Texan transplant, so you know what I like…read more I travel for work once a year to Lexington and always make sure I end up here for breakfast. The chorizo biscuits and gravy revolutionized how I approach gravy at home when I make it. The various eggs Benedict dishes are great and I always pick either Katie's tex mex one or the cali one, both are great representations and do the name well. Eggs were perfect, potatoes crispy, and muffin the perfect ending. The apple dish was the one thing I wasn't a fan of this time - far too middle American sweet, in my opinion, it needs far more apples (slightly less baked), far more crumble, and far less of the syrup and whipped cream. I ended up just taking the apples and crumble and eating it with the muffin. Service is always quick and great, seating perfect for breakfast.

I got here almost as it opened, sat immediately as I was one of three people inside. My server was Selena, was friendly and attentive. Restaurant was very clean! Got the elevated breakfast sandwich bacon avocado and a chipotle sauce on brioche bun, it was pillowy soft. I never set the sandwich back down. Bacon had a great crunch which it needed because it was a lot of softer ingredients. Those breakfast potatoes were crispy, delicious and seasoned to perfection. Maybe the single most satisfying item I had in Kentucky. I see this place already has high scores but it's not hype. Great breakfast and service.
