Unify Coffee is my new favorite coffee shop in Nicholasville! What a fun place this is! This is a cafe with a cereal bar and vintage clothing shop.  I came here to check it out and found out it is turning 2 years in business. Nice. There are quite a few tables and free WiFi. It even has a full cereal bar. Wow!  It is centrally located in a shopping plaza with plenty of free parking, friendly staff and clean and comfortable common areas. I went for a latte, and it was delicious.  Overall, 100% recommended. read more

Cool place, low key vibe. Ample parking, plenty of seating. The cereal bar is a unique aspect and the vintage clothing. I had a lemonade, it was served in a cool glass, with a glass straw, which was nice. They also have food and desserts. I don't know if the place is dog friendly as I didn't have my pup, but I didn't see anyone else with a dog. Anyway, it was a nice find. I will return, especially if dogs are allowed because my pup enjoys a laidback coffee shop vibe. read more

Road tripping. Monday morning, 10:30 AM, no line. Two baristas. I walked up to the counter and ordered a flat white and some macarons. Then I realized they have cereal milk lattes, so I ordered one of those. This place seems neat! After about five minutes, I was confused about no sound of espresso grinding or pulling shots or milk steaming. I watched the two baristas' actions and none of it made sense, mostly considering that neither was doing anything with drinks. One of them microwaved some things and the other filled a syrup bottle. Eventually, one barista had lined up a lot of 16-ounce cups. Seems like the business has online orders coming through at an overwhelming rate. I hope y'all figure this out. At 11:00 AM, 25+ minutes into my wait, there was a lineup of customers. The dude at the front of the line went unacknowledged for several minutes. That's when I gave up being patient and asked the nearest barista when I'd have my drinks. She kindly told me "five minutes," and when I said "I've been waiting 25 minutes," she calmly and politely replied that she'd make my drinks right away. Bless up. At 11:06 AM, after 30+ minutes, I had my goods and was out the door. Our kid loved the macarons! And the barista who interacted with me was sweet. However, the wait was outrageous and my "flat white" is a 12-ounce latte. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte is delicious. To the owners/management--please support your staff and operations better! Also, either figure out what a flat white is and serve it properly or take it off of your menu. read more

This place is always a must-stop for me whenever I'm in the area. The vibe is fantastic -- I love the decor and the fun merchandise they have for sale. While their cereal milk lattes are a unique twist, I'm still loyal to the classics like their espresso lattes and matcha. The strawberry matcha and the maple brown sugar cold brew have both been standouts for me. Consistently great drinks and a spot I'm always happy to revisit! read more

Very cute little space inside, love the different cereal boxes on the wall! There is a cereal bar so kids probably would love that. Came for Jessamine Coffee Week and got the Fruity Pebbles latte and the salted lavender pea matcha. The latte didn't really have a lot of fruity pebbles taste, it felt mildly like the mill after a bowl of cereal? The matacha was delicious, a little salty, a little herbaceous, and not overly sweet. I do have to say, the driving/parking situation is weird, there's several one way only routes because of the drive thrus, so you have to loop all the way to the front for the parking lot. read more

Everything was served quickly and tasted amazing--the pastries were especially delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, and the eclectic ambiance added to the charm. This is the illest vibe I've stumbled across in years. Mad spacious, viciously moody, and elegantly elegant. Their beans taste like heaven entered the very essence of your soul for only a moment but this moment was sweet like nectar and soft like a sleep number mattress that knows your like your long time chiropractor Jason. Trevor and his team are so welcoming. They literally brought me Taco Bell from next door because they didn't serve it themselves. Above and beyond is putting it lightly. I visited Unify Coffee after hours for a concert. The lead singer of my favorite band of all time, Hawk Nelson, was touring for a 20 year anniversary acoustic playthrough of their first album and Unify Coffee was the closest venue to my house in Cincinnati. I'm glad this show led me to Unify Coffee as it was a really neat place with absolutely delicious food. I ordered a truffle grilled cheese. While it felt a little pricey, I'd pay it again because it was sooo good. Homemade sourdough bread, homemade truffle butter, and several cheeses. It was tangy and perfect. My sister got a bowl of lucky charms, which was served in a 90s Barbie bowl and made us both so happy. She also got a smoothie-- which tasted so fresh-- and a spinach and feta croissant-- so good. I got a hot tea that I didn't love, but that's okay. I just wouldn't pay $5 for hot tea there again. The interior is decorated really neat and the vibes are just chill and fun. There is ample parking in the lot and they have two bathrooms in the back. I don't anticipate being in the area again soon, but if I was, I'd add a stop to Unify Coffee to my itinerary. read more

Love this little neighborhood coffee shop. The coffee is very good and so is the service. The atmosphere is unique, even for a coffee shop. I love sipping coffee and looking at all the art and unique items around the room. It's a great spot to start my day with a meeting or two, or to drop by in the afternoon or late morning for a pick me up and to get some work done. They always have good music playing too. We are from out-of-town and make it a point to visit when we are in the area. We stopped in on a Friday evening and received great personable service from the barista. She exuded calm confidence and made us feel welcome as we lingered over our delicious brews. The shop itself was full of life - students working on their laptops, groups of friends laughing, and multi-generational family groups enjoying each other's company. Super fantastic vibes, excellent coffee, and top-notch service... highly recommend! read more

The good: the decor is AWESOME. What a fun vibe, and I love a place that leans into the design of the place. 10/10. Their lattes are also VERY large so you get a lot for the price! Their desserts are also really tasty - great job partnering with a local bakery on the goodies! The bad: the coffee isn't very good. They're cereal themed, but they only had two cereal milks the day I went, neither of which were flavors I'd want. The coffee is also just not very good. I'm nursing a vanilla latte where I can not taste any vanilla, just espresso that's slightly bitter. They also have a second hand store within the shop which is sort of weird. It feels disjointed to me. All in all, if I lived out this way I'd come back, but I wouldn't drive out here again for the coffee. read more

dude tbh i'm not even one to give places shitty reviews, you can check my profile, i've been here before and it was super solid last time but sometimes a shitty worker can ruin a whole place for you. i walk in about 8:30, no worker behind the counter so i look around a little bit, she puts her phone down and shuffles over and deadass just stares at me, have never had a more awkward interaction in my life not a hello, not a how are you this evening, not a what can I get you, legitimately just stares at me blankly and "mhm" her way through anything i can bother her to ask then proceeds to make the me the most rancid coffee of my life, legitimately had to go to mcd down the road to get creamer and pumpkin spice concentrate to try and make this thing drinkable, legitimately worst coffee i've ever had made for me in town and I've been in Lex since 2015, never had a drink legitimately make me have a physical reaction at first sip. moral of the story: who tf are u people hiring, go to high on art and observe how you should interact with customers, your staff is a direct reflection of your business pound for pound the nastiest coffee i've ever tasted, knew it would be fucked the moment the girl behaved like i was interrupting her scroll sesh store owner: nothing against you or your small business but what a shitty interaction, don't fuck the girl's income up, absolutely not calling for her to be disciplined or fired bc thats some lame ass shit to try and fuck somebodys money up but definitely speak to your late night staff about how to make customers want to come back. sometimes hiring college girls is not the move, and it's not even like i'm an out of touch dude, i'm 28 lmao read more

They have amazing coffee and tea with a twist of cereal added in. They also have a multitude of bakery items as-well. The staff and owner are very nice and welcoming. The place itself is a low key and positive atmosphere for studying, relaxing, hanging out with friends and so much more!
