Cute vintage store and plant shop in addition to small vender booths, for example a lovely lady that makes quilt items like bowl warmers, aprons etc and great repurposed alcohol bottles as lamps. read more

Greyline Station - Outside entrance - Public Markets Near Me - Lexington, Kentucky

Greyline Station is an open market space surrounded by shops and restaurants. While it's not at 100% occupancy, it is striving to get there. On many of my visits, many of the shops have been closed. I've visited at varying times throughout the day/night. On weekends, there is live entertainment and dancing. It was very lively. read more

5/5: concept, visibility, signage, parking 2/5: occupancy, hours, and experience. Wow. There are quite a few empty booths, which is largely emphasized when few booths are actually open. It's pretty difficult to find the hours of the booths inside. While I get folks should be open at times that make sense for them and their clients, it's not a good experience to just follow the Greyline open hours. You'll find yourself with little to do and little to interact with. The interior is cute, bathrooms are clean and easy to find, and what is there is cool. This is way less active than similar places I've been to. I hope the most for this place bc the concept is amazing!! read more

This repurposed brick building has a mix of food and other vendors. It is still a work in progress as I write, but a variety of businesses are open. You can but art or get your hair done, but I was mostly there for the food. Some places are more in stalls communally, while a few restaurants around the periphery have more of their own space. The building looks nice and there is parking on site. The food holds some intriguing variety. There aren't really enough seats communally, though there is a ping pong table. If this is Lexington's take on a food hall, I'll likely be back to check it out in more detail. read more

We went there on a Friday afternoon and it was dead, which was surprising. My friend and I ate at Old North Bar and our other 2 friends grabbed food at a different store which is cool. It's a big building with different merchants inside so has lots of potential for sure. Old Nortb Bar didn't have a lot of their food items available though because their delivery truck was late, which isn't good if it's right before the weekend so that was a bummer. I got the fried green tomato BLT and that was good. The bartender was really nice and gave us great recommendations on places to go since we're from out of town. I did the blackberry lemonade vodka cocktail which was delicious. Cool vibes though for sure, pretty empty though. Pricing wasn't bad either - $15 for my sandwich. We then went to Bespoken which was a new bourbon distillery, that was a really cool place. There is a really cool vintage store too where I got a KY sweatshirt. read more

So I went on a Tuesday (played hooky from work) and just happened to be on that side of town . I was really surprised at how big it actually is when you walk in. There were so many stalls to stop and look at it was like I was in shopping overload ! There's definitely something for everyone . I really wish I had more time to look at everything but it's an excuse to come back to shop and eat . read more

We popped in here mainly because it looked really cool from the street when we drive by. From what we were told, the place has been open any a year, reviving am old bus depot. The station is spacious with several food, drink and local artisan shops. We arrived later in the day, so many of the maker booths were closed for the day. There are shops for almost every kind of taste, including a barber and hair stylist. We stopped in Breeze, the wine shop, and grabbed an empanada from the pastry shop before selling in at some tables at the south end as a band setup. There was some kind of every going on and we stayed through a good part of the band's opening set. Had we not had other plans for the evening, we could've made a night of it. All in all, it's a cool vibrant local space. read more

Came here with the recommendation of a friend. Said it was an open market that has many stores with food places around. Not sure if it was because it was a Sunday, but we got their when it said the market was open and none of the stores were open besides one little coffee shop. What threw me off was that there were a lot of people walking in, but where were they going? Literally every store, besides one. Was open. I looked around anyway, while the rest of family waited in the car, and saw that most of the spots were vacant. I know markets like this dont always have full occupancy, so I understood that... but to say you open at a specific time and only one store is open? Come on. I guess we'll have to try again another time when all their stores are supposed to be open. Side note: the smokehouse that is part of the market was smoking something for the day and it smelled AMAZING! read more

Interesting concept in a refurbished building. Plenty of parking onsite, a plus downtown. A variety of vendors, even a barber. North Lime donuts is there, but food vendors are sparse. Greyline has potential, but presently, it leaves much to be desired. People were generally very friendly. Lots of permanent vendors (see list below), along with a wide variety in the Julietta Market. The guys at Old North are fantastic and I can't wait for Wilson's Market to open. A huge asset to Lexington! This is a great addition to the shopping and dining scene in Lexington Kentucky. We enjoyed walking around in the Greyline shops and had ice cream and talked to the lady with the nut stand and had her samples which were delicious. We were there on a Sunday and there were a lot of handmade items for sale. We will be back and are sorry it took us so like to find this gem. read more

This is a nice concept. The fedora were not all open, and it seems like there are many coming. It will be interesting to see how this place grows. There was a line out the door for the plant shop, but some of the vendors were almost pushy trying to get business. It seems s very open air and was nice to walk around a less crowded indoor space during distancing on a cold day. read more

The food at the restaurant was ok, not spectacular. The stores are cute. It was ok. The best thing there is the popcorn lady.

It's merely ok. Some or the food is fantastic(looking at you Natalia's and Laura Lou) but most is overpriced(Dawg House), overrated (Nourished Folks, where it smells like, and in my personal experience, they burn their food and the salad may have given my wife food poisoning) or both(Rise Up your good but your prices are ridiculous and North Lime you'll never be Spalding's and your pretentious doughnuts are truly just meh. $20 for a dozen, get over yourself.). The stalls are open or closed on a whim, some adhere to schedules and some don't and the whole back end is like some weird goodwill, pawn shop swap meet setup of used clothes and yard sale stuff. It has potential for the people selling crafts, art, and decent food but whatever the hell that backside is just drags it down even more. read more
