Great new chain with quality raw food and smoothies. Some of them can be high in calories so be careful about eating here often, but much better tasting, more filling, and much healthier than other fast food. The bowls are better than the smoothies. They are all big and filling and range from around 400 to 1,000 calories, so choose wisely (the chia pudding bowls really tip the scales at 700-950 calories). The Acai bowls are really sweet. If you want a huge, sweet, fruity meal, the Pura Vida bowl is a strong choice at 460 calories. Don't be afraid of the green bowls. They are probably the most balanced in terms of calories, flavor, and nutrition and don't worry -- it doesn't taste like vegetables. The Pacific, Hemp, Ocean Ave, and Lola bowls are awesome choices, all under 500 calories with 11-12g fiber and 8-10g protein.

Tropical bowl was awesome!

I had the tropical açaí bowl and it was awesome. Base was açaí then a layer of granola, topped with bananas, pineapple and shredded coconut. It only comes in one large size so be hungry!

A sampling of mom's Nutella bowl!

This place is absolutely adorable. The bowls are fabulous. So much flavor, packed full, very fresh and tons of options. The employees go out of their way for the customers and are always upbeat and smiling. You can't walk out of here without a smile on your face! A must visit place in Carlisle if you ask me. Even the kids couldn't get enough!

Pink Flamingo bowl

Very new place and only one other review and since my experience was different, I felt compelled to write a review as well. The atmosphere is pretty nice; clean, good music, and a generally younger clientele - a trendy, cool vibe if that makes sense... but for me, that's where the appeal ends. I had the #3 oatmeal bowl (chocolate protein, banana, and peanut butter) and the wife had the Pink Flamingo pitaya bowl (I don't even know what a pitaya is so continue with the review at your own discretion) which costs about $19.00, pretty steep in my opinion... and I hate that these places are asking for tips at checkout... tips for what? They aren't bringing it to your table, they aren't bussing your table, refilling drinks, etc? And to ask for a tip before they've done anything is a trend that should just not.... Back to the food - you can tell that they are using quality products and everything is well presented but the taste just didn't do it for me. Perhaps it was what I ordered so maybe just avoid the #3 oatmeal bowl. The wife's Pink Flamingo was definitely better than mine but still not what I would call great; see picture. Cool place but I probably won't be going again.

I enjoy dining here and appreciate the ability to substitute and customize the bowls. I cannot eat bananas and there are plenty of options.

It can be difficult to find gluten free options and they always deliver good food. However, there definitely seem to have been some changes recently--not sure if it's new management, perhaps multiple factors. I'm excited to see some new additions to the menu, and any period of change is bound to come with some hiccups, but the use of generative AI is a HUGE concern for me. The environmental impact of generative AI is well-known, and that seems to be at odds with the values of Free Range which emphasizes local, fresh food and being more environmentally friendly. However, on my most recent visit, AI-generated merch was available for sale, as well as AI-generated coloring pages for kids. Some of the text on recent social media posts also has hallmarks of AI generation. There are many free coloring pages available online, and it could be really cool to see a collaboration with a local artist for merch designs instead. Free Range Cafe is a place I've always really enjoyed, and their food is still delicious. I want to continue coming here, so I hope that management can take these concerns into consideration as they move in their new direction.

Even if I'd be Hagerstown for some reason, I'd either be on the freeway or downtown area at best. This is on the north side of town, so unsure when or if I'd ever be back. On my way to my work travel, the rail was coming which might mean I'd be waiting 10 minutes, so I decided to pop in here for lunch. Staff was very nice. I asked several questions about the menu, and they were helpful. I got a grain chicken bowl with rice, Brussel sprouts, sweet potatoes, & more. It was excellent. The place was clean with plenty of room to seat and enjoy my nice meal. They had a beautiful water jug, which I enjoyed water in my courtesy water cup. Overall, it was an excellent experience with the outstanding bowl. I'd come back if ever back over here.

So I thought it was time to revisit Vitality Bowls® - stopped in just after lunch hour & saw that the Supergreen Goddess Salad was still on the menu (nice balance of chicken, greens, eggs w/ avocado). I placed my order & sat at one of the 3 tables (I'm pretty sure the lion's share of business is to-go) - waited about a couple'a minutes for my made-to-order salad. When it came, it was just as good as previous visits, with everything fresh. Vitality is a good healthy choice nestled among all the nearby fast-food joints. They also have a selection of juices if that's your thing. I'll keep it in the dining rotation!

There are only a few tables, although none were occupied. The hummus and veggie appetizer was a huge disappointment. The hummus was tasty, but unfortunately the potion was only enough for about 1/3 of the veggies. The carrots and celery appeared to be a couple days old by the discoloration. The celery was impossible to dip in the hummus as it was chopped/sliced for a salad. Thankfully, the steak bowl was delicious and the right sized portion. All the ingredients were fresh and very flavorful. It was easy to distinguish between the different flavors. Not sure yet if I will give this place another visit.

I really love popping Boba and was so excited to see that they have a few flavors. They did not have the strawberry milk tea or strawberry smoothie that is my usual go-to vessel for the strawberry poppers. I opted for a large wild berry smoothie with strawberry poppers and my fiancé got a large strawberry banana smoothie with strawberry poppers. The price point is excellent and cheaper than anywhere else we have been in PA! The drinks tasted super fresh and it is fun to watch them being made. We were there on opening day (5/28/22) so the line was really long, but it moved super quickly and everyone was so friendly! We will definitely be back!
