I have to say that I grabbed the Garden State Greens without looking at the ingredients and started to I drink it and was shocked to not taste sweet. It has a pleasant taste, even though there is no apple or any other fruit. I would get it again! The smoothie I am obsessed with right now is the Blueberry PB Chocolate Protein Smoothie. I immediately returned to the store and handed the bag back. The manager explained that it belonged to the other customers who had been waiting. He then asked me if I had opened the bag, which I had not--I had only just reached my car when I received the call. The other customers looked through the bag and said they would still take the food. Throughout this interaction, the manager did not apologize or take accountability for the mistake made by his staff. I was left standing there feeling as though I had done something wrong, and the situation made me uncomfortable, especially with the way the other customers were looking at me. I understand that mistakes happen, and I'm not upset about the mix-up itself. What was disappointing was the manager's lack of professionalism, communication, and apology. A simple explanation or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

While it was not as good as the Brick one, I didn't really hold that against them. Then a couple of weeks later, I went back to the Brick location and they told me they didn't have matcha because they ran out. They said their customers who really love matcha were not happy about it either, and that they didn't know when they were going to get it back in. That's why I took away one star. They are a business and should make an effort to always have matcha available. Matcha not being available one day is one thing, but not having it and not knowing when it's coming back is another thing. I just don't think that's acceptable. Besides that, this place is really good. Their drinks seem really creative. I've mostly only had the matcha because I love matcha. It also seems like a really nice place to sit and study, and it always seems clean. The day they didn't have the matcha, I got a chai tea instead and it wasn't that great, so I know not to get the chai again.
