Took these bits to go and stepped about 50 feet to the beach. The crab fritters were just as I remembered, stuffed with plantain, yucca (or a cousin) and plenty of mud crab meat. The octopus empanadas were full of red sauce and tentacle meat. Best of all, it's cheap. If you are hungry off your flight and rented a car, take it to 187 and stop at any stall in piñones - you won't regret it.

And at $5 per arepa- what robbery. 2 stars because the other snacks were still good- even if they also came from a frozen box we didn't get to see. Unfortunately, we won't be stopping at this food cart again. What a bummer. Seeing this frozen food box really ruined a good thing.
