After years of passing by this place I thought it was only a basic bar until I stopped in today to grab a cold beer, and I was sadly mistaken. There were several virtual sporting lounge rooms with couches for an optimum experience. Six sporting genres including: Golf, soccer, hockey, baseball, cricket, basketball and football. A full menu of food and drinks are available while playing. One hour of mixed play for $45 up to eight guests max in room. Very large bar with dark wood frames wrapped with purple fabric comfy upholstery. Ordered on tap a Stone Hazy ipa craft beer 6.7% abv. Happy Hour is Mon thru Fri 11am - 6pm offering $7 craft beer and $10 wines & cocktails. Takeout review: This sports bar is located in the Hard Rock Casino. It has a bar and multiple televisions. They also offer bar food. I like that they had a takeout area at the bar. We stopped in and ordered some frozen drinks. The service was good and the drinks were decent. read more

My friend Alison made a reservation for us to eat here before seeing the Hard Rock Guitar Christmas lights show. Our party was already inside so we walked right in to our table. Lovely waitress came by to take our drink order. I decided on the lychee caipirinha. It was delicious and strong. We started with the charcuterie plate. Checked out this place to host a happy hour with my co workers. I wanted to try out something interactive. I booked a area as it was going to be a large group of us. We ordered appetizers for the table and some cocktails that were on the happy hour menu. The wings hands down were phenomenal, highly recommend them. My issue was that several of the pieces needed to play the different sports were broken which was disappointing. For the food and activity altogether it wasn't a bad price. It's not a complicated order at all. I have no idea what took them so long, but it was beyond an eternity for the chicken salad. The salad cost me $28, the most expensive salad I have ever paid anywhere I have traveled. Yes, the argument can be made that you are at the Hard Rock; what did you expect? The bays include a lot of virtual game options which was cool, however not too sure about the accuracy of the games. For example, in basketball, we were hitting the backboard repeatedly, but never got any points! We had a few drinks and we ordered chips and salsa, which was absolutely terrible not even pretending to be restaurant quality. So we decided not to eat dinner there. Very nice place. Team working helped a lot. Drinks reasonably priced. The interactive sports games they have are for rent by the hour per person in your group, not bad and a lot of fun. We had some food sliders with fruit instead a of fries and it was nice. Music is up beat Heads up the restrooms are in the hard rock so you have to leave the place to use the restroom. It was about 6 stores down We had a last minute addition to the group whose birthday was that day and the waitress was very nice and brought out a slice of cheesecake with a candle. Came for a work outing, let me start with ambiance, if you are an entertainment location, I'd say it doesn't matter what day it is you have to entertain. But for the benefit of the doubt it was Monday afternoon. Games: selection is not bad however the equipment has seen BETTER DAYS!!! They need to replace a lot of things here replenish and ensure all chests have all and enough items to play with. I noticed in one chest there was no baseball and other items were missing. There's no consistency here. The games need to be calibrated. The rooms are a little tight to play certain games... there's a risk you could hit someone... but no worries about it that's why you have to SIGN A waiver before you play. Food: we ordered appetizers platters; first off the chicken wings were over salted, the pizza was dried and undercooked, and lacked seasoning... I didn't tasted the sliders nor the chicken strips. This place is super awesome to hang out with friends a girls night or boys night out. It has a full bar and about 6 interactive simulation sports games spaces. The finger food are really good few choices to choose from as well as many drink combinations. The pineapple martini is awesome and every time this drink is bought it goes to charity. I visited PLA Hard Rock around 10:30 PM with my hubby and a friend last night while visiting the Fort Lauderdale area, because received the recommendation for Wednesday night karaoke. Our waitress, Megan was AMAZING and provided excellent service. However, the overall experience was awkward due to hiccups with our food, alcohol and some incident that caused the police to be called (not involving us or anyone that we knew). The manager seemed a bit flustered and overwhelmed and was a bit off in approach. We ordered two Pla margaritas. They were supposed to have Casamigos in them, but they tasted awful, lacking Casamigos and including a weird after taste of spritzer. After sending them back, we opted for tequila shots with lime and those were better. The manager ended up giving the returned drinks back, but I didn't finish mine because it was not good. We ordered Buffalo wings, fries, a Philly cheese steak and sweet potato tots. The sweet potato tots were really good and I'd order them again, but everything else was okay at best. The Philly was decent for soaking up the shots, but reminded me of the frozen Steakems you can buy from the grocery store. The wings were initially sent out soft like they were baked Tyson frozen wings, and they ended up dropping them in the fryer for us upon request, and that helped. The fries were okay but had an odd breading on them. Karaoke was enjoyable to watch, but we were not able to participate before the cut off at midnight. To request to sing songs, you can scan the QR code in the back of the bar and it'll populate the location and music options. I recommend arriving earlier and participating via the submission form before 10:30 to meet the midnight cut off. The djay called my song, but the manager told him to stop karaoke because of the time and whatever incident that occurred. My overall rating toggles between a 3 and 4 based on the food, drinks and service. I enjoyed the experience and our waitress was a sweetheart, but the hiccups impacted my experience. read more

Came here to watch the soccer game only 1 small tv was playing it, while the rest were playing the hockey game. Our server didn't seem like she wanted to help us, and took so long to check on us every time. Another server was also giving us dirty looks because we pushed the chairs back a bit so we can see the TV which the table was underneath. The chips and salsa, tasted like exactly like Tostitos. We waited for about 15 minutes after the entire bar was cleared for us to find someone to pay for our tab. Would only recommend if you're going to the bar and not the tables. read more

I'd never gone before this visit. I expected the usual sports bar. But I was pleasantly surprised to find this place loaded with huge tvs, fun virtual games, and really cool music. I really enjoyed the food. It was flavorful, fun, and filling. The Dj was lit, he played some throwbacks and some really hype music. All of the staff was friendly, the manager was really outgoing and helpful. I give this spot a 10 out of 10. And it's really great for happy hour, sporting event, and large groups. read more

A small hidden sports bar in the Hard Rock casino, we always end up eating here when we can't get a reservation at one of the nicer restaurants. The food was a mixed bag for our group. The burgers and sliders were surprisingly good. However, the pizza and cheesesteak were both mediocre. Both the service and the kitchen were slow. Even the process to close out was slow, although we had given our credit card to start the tab at the start of the meal! They had customers waiting for our table, and it took 25 minutes to get our check to sign after asking for it. I'm sure I'll be back at PLA, but only out of necessity. read more

The service was excellent and our table was visited by the Hospitality Manager Richard Gooding. He was professional, catered to our needs and asked how the food a service was. Well, over a month ago some friends and I planned to begin a 50th bday celebration for a friend at this location. Reservations were made for the event. Aprrox 10 people. The night itself was fine. But we had issues with out area or pod. Whatever they call it, it was #5. The games weren't responsive or functioning properly. An adjustment was made to no avail so we carried on for what was a cool start to the evening. In the immediate aftermath we received an email from "Bob" looking for review of the establishment. We provided a fair review with the good and the bad. You think "Bob" would acknowledge or anyone that is connected? the answer is a resounding NO. We tried multiple attempts only to be ignored time and time again. Just so happens I've been been an expert in face to face customer service for over 2 decades. This is the bottom of the barrel when it comes to the subject. Thanks for nothing. read more

Round two at PLA with the gang. They have happy hour every day from 3 to 7 with drink and bar snack specials (pretzels, chips and salsa, etc). Thursday' was ladies night from 8 to 11, which is what we attended, and it's a pretty sweet deal. Cocktail specials from 8-11, $6 cosmos, and free Prosecco from eight to nine. I've shared flyer photos of both events. The game time was half off as well so the guys were included as well. Our host was nice and managed to take care of us as the night grew busier. Ripped off! We went to the Play bar at the hard rock for happy hour before the Black Crowes concert last night. I told the bartender I was there for happy hour. I ordered two lemon drop martinis thinking they were $8 each at happy hour. I got charged $17 each and they were only half full! The menu says they're $15, but I got charge $17 each.
