I believe the items are all reasonably priced, but regardless it does feel goof to support a local business and local creators. I don't think I ever left empty handed, there's such a variety of items to choose from. If you're in the Ghent area I highly recommend stopping by, especially if you're shopping for the holidays!

She explains it easy for us beginners to understand. Then she helps each of us to somehow achieve what we imagine. She appreciates all efforts and makes us believe in our art work. She is non judgmental so we want to make our own idea into a product. We even get to clean our own wheel and area like a "real potter". It was not a problem getting us in to paint some items. We had an impromptu date here, and I would also say that this was one of the nicer ways to spend a Saturday afternoon that we had found. The process is pretty simple. Check in with the front desk they have you pick out a piece too please assign a table and then explain the process of how to wait on Keys to get the best result. They take care of everything after you are done applying the number of coats that you want on your item and you return after a few days to pick up. It's very simple and you can take your time. There were a mix of adults and groups that involve children, but this is not a place that I would bring very young children unsupervised or without high-level supervision. Price pay on most of the pieces to paint is around $30 and up. You can do a smaller item like an ornament for much less but people play a coffee mug about $20-$30 for what took us several hours to complete and it was very enjoyable time. Parking is available if you go around the block there is parking behind the "house". There's also street parking available on the side streets if that is filled. .

However, this $19.99 framing was the cheapest looking gold frame - NOT what I wanted at all. The employee who helped me was very nice and took time with me to pick out several framing/matting options. After we got done with all the options, the frame/matt that I picked out was close to $200.00. I'm not complaining about the pricing because I know that framing is usually expensive and that you only get your college degree framed once. He was kind enough to write down all the names and colors so that I could discuss the options with my mom and we could make a decision together. She ended up going somewhere else to get the degree framed, but I'm still appreciative for the time the employee took out of his day to help me make a decision. This store also has art supplies, but honestly I didn't pay much attention to that section of the store.

I found a better quality wood frame on-line for $50.00 each with free delivery. Local frame shops should rethink their prices and customer service. I needed 6 frames. As much as I want to support local businesses, in this case I saved $900.00.
