There are some seriously cute ones for Halloween. I was almost immediately greeted by a friendly young gal who offered me a bag for shopping which I declined and she pointed me in the direction of the hand soap in the back left of the store. I found a wealth of hand soaps back here in about 40 different scents and styles with tons of old favorites, some newbies, and fall scents. Best of all, all the soaps were on sale for $3 the day I came in! No minimum purchase required! As I shopped another gal stocking shelves asked if I needed help and as I started to select a few soaps and stood holding them the first gal came back and offered me a bag again to be helpful in case I wanted my hands free. Once I'd made my selections I walked to the front where a very friendly gal rang me up and made pleasant small talk with me. Both she and the other gentleman working behind the register were friendly and we easily chatted as I paid. This was an excellent experience in this store and every single person I encountered inside was friendly and helpful despite it being later in the day on a weekend (Saturday). Great selection of different scents and carriers for the candles as well as a unique recycle policy on some of the sprays in what not to save you a few bucks on your favorite scents. I believe the items are all reasonably priced, but regardless it does feel goof to support a local business and local creators. I have been going to them for years and the special events they put on at the selden market are superb. Full Moon Markets at selden market and Practical Magic Markets at other local businesses. I even remember them putting on fun workshops. The vibe is witchy but so cool. The owner and customer service is top notch like a long lost friend where you just pick up where you left off last time you spoke to them. They carry speciality stones, incense, tarrot cards, art and more. I love supporting local and the artists. I love little witchy shop in Norfolk. This place is what makes Norfolk great. They did have someone right at the front who was responsible for cleaning carts, which was appreciated. We were on the hunt for a larger piece of furniture. Didn't find what we were looking for, but they have a lot of different styles in chairs, desks, tables etc. I would caution that, if you do find something you like, check it thoroughly before purchasing. Many items seemed to have dents and dings from being on the floor with carts pushing past. This is definitely a spot you might find a treasure, especially in the clearance sections, but it will take some time and effort to find.
