Play is located in the same building as Levels, Billion, the recently opened Dizzi and the new Japanese inspired bar, Amazake. It's not hard to find but it may take you quite a while to decide where to go when you arrive the building. Well, see and follow the people. We all know a good club needs people, you don't want the place to be extremely empty and quiet, do you? You can always see a queue by the door at Play during weekends, especially after midnight. Now, you know where to go.
The bouncers are normally very friendly and welcoming but not when the club is crazily busy. So, my advice is to get a table. When you reserve a table before going, you can easily enter without queuing and not to mention, you can simply skip the tedious ID check.
Play is not insanely huge, like Magnum, which occupies 3 floors or Dragon-I but not as tiny as Drop or 7 Heaven. It's basically separated into two areas, one for pool and the other for the rest of the party animals! Once you enter the club by going up the escalator, you will find siding doors at the opposite side of the dance floor, that's where the pools are and the relatively cosier, quieter and more private area. There are also VIP areas right next to the dance floor. Brings some friends, pop some champagnes and you can have the table for yourself. Sometimes they do drinking games on Thursday, like flip cup and beer pong, which are pretty fun. And don't miss their glow paint party, i heard it's wild and fun.
I would say the general age group there is quiet young, you will meet a lot of students. The best time to go is around 12-1 and most people leave around 3-4.
