One of the LESSER of the Plato's I've visited. Selection wasn't very good. Prices average. Usual hit and miss, more miss than hit.

Since this "HomeGoods" store did not have any Yelp reviews, I figure why not be the first to…read morerepresent its one and only Erie, PA store. This particular location is at the Millcreek Pavilion shopping center on Interchange Rd. and directly off of I-79. The building itself neighbors a Ross and Michaels as well as many other retail stores and restaurants in this area. Parking can be fairly easy no matter what time of day or evening you come. They also have very respectable hours being open Monday-Thursday from 9:30am-9:30pm, Friday from 9:30am-10:00pm, and Sunday from 11:00am-8:00pm. As many people know, HomeGoods is also part of TJX who also operate TJ Maxx and Marshall's stores around the United States, Canada, and even some European countries. HomeGoods mainly focuses on small furniture items, linens/bedding, cooking products, ceramic dinnerware, lighting, art, area rugs and other home accessories including candles, perishable food items, pet accessories, and bath decor. During my visit which was on the evening of Friday 9/15/2023 at around 8:00pm, the Erie, PA location had a decent amount of customers while the store itself was very well stocked. One employee was organizing pillows while another was sweeping the floor. I did also witness several sales associates ringing customers up as the line moved rather quickly. Again, many retail stores including this "HomeGoods" can be very busy depending on the time of day you shop. They also carry quite a bit of seasonal items to spruce up your home; autumn/Halloween from Sep-Nov, Christmas from Nov-Dec, so on and so forth. With that said and done, I am giving this store an above average four-star rating.

I think this is the cutest little store. Absolutely perfect for gifts and goodies! It is clean,…read moreneat and full of inventory. With that being said, don't go in there if you don't think you can meet their standards of what a customer should be. Yesterday was the third time I have had problems with their employees. I am in my mid-twenties. I do not drive a BMW. I buy the majority of my wardrobe from Marshall's, so pretty much all last season. I carry a Coach purse, and work three jobs to afford nice things. I needed to pick up a gift for my friend and for my mother's friend. No one offered to help me, which was fine. I was perfectly capable of finding things on my own. I had settled on Vera Bradley blanket and Vera Bradley apron and was waiting to check out. The cashier was quite chatty with the lady in front of me, who was also taking advantage of the Vera sale. The employee offered her gift boxes and gift wrapping and took her time with each item. When it was my turn to check-out, I was prepared to accept the gift wrapping offer and pay whatever the additional fee was, even though I was pretty sure it was free. I mentioned to the cashier that these were both gifts for others, to which she responded "oh, that's nice!" She proceeded to throw my receipt in the bag without asking if I wanted it, and stuff the oversized throw into the too small bag which crushed the tiny Vera box that came with the apron. The bag didn't have handles so I maneuvered carrying it like groceries. I was never once offered anything that the lady prior to me was asked
