The man working there spent about five minutes on the phone arguing while I stood there waiting, with nothing to do but look at Star Wars posters and toys. No TV, no coffee, and apparently no urgency to help a customer. When he finally got off the phone, I asked a simple question: "How much would it cost to replace this part?" He didn't even get up to inspect the vehicle. He simply gave me a price of $250. $250 -- without even looking at the vehicle or doing any work! That was enough for me. I walked out. There are plenty of other businesses in Melbourne, so DO YOUR RESEARCH before handing over your hard-earned money. Get multiple quotes, read the reviews, and don't feel pressured to accept the first price you're given. Customer service matters. Your money matters. Shop around! Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.

I really liked this car at the time, so I researched online for nearly two months and took notes for comparison. Ultimately, Lexus dealer offered the best value for money, so I bought this car. Later, I noticed that there was some paint chipping on one side mirror. Since it was within the warranty period, I had it repaired at a Lexus dealer in Melbourne, and this was entirely free of charge. During this time, they also provided me with a replacement vehicle. Later on, there were cracks in the car's interior, and I went to the Melbourne Lexus dealer. They told me the cost would be very high and suggested I go to a smaller auto repair shop. Later, I discovered that Lexus had issued a recall for this issue, meaning many cars from this batch had similar problems. We contacted the Melbourne Lexus Dealer again, but they said the recall period had ended. When we asked why we weren't notified, they said it was because we didn't have maintenance done at their dealership. My questions are: 1. When I purchased the vehicle, I didn't sign any contract requiring maintenance at a Lexus dealer. 2. Lexus covers all the costs for recalls, so why didn't the Melbourne Lexus dealer or JM Lexus notify me? Lexus is a high-end brand under Toyota, but the behavior of Lexus dealerships in this matter is very disappointing and, some might say, unacceptable. At the time, my English proficiency and understanding of the law were not very good, but I have since gained a better understanding through online research, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, and learned about my legal rights. The following four pictures include one from 2011 and the other three show the current severe condition of the interior cracks. This car has been through two major accidents, but the engine and major components are still functioning properly. What I love most about this car is its built-in CD changer that can hold six CDs at once, which was a standout feature at the time. Additionally, the car's exterior design is very sleek, and the streamlined headlights are beautifully designed. If this were to happen in Japan, the person in charge at Lexus would personally apologize and ensure the car is repaired. This is because I am very familiar with the Japanese work ethic. I live in tradition and would have never come up this far to have the panoramic glass top installed unless referred by Sunroof Express. The installer and the owner of the company of American auto glass, John R. Hall advised me he removed spacers from the panoramic glass roof in order to make it fit better. In speaking with Tesla and doing further research, I learned that the spacers are there strategically engineered to absorb impact to prevent cracking and breakage of the top and should never be removed. I called Sunroof Express, and requested a full refund for the panoramic glass roof of which they refunded me however they will not refund me for the installation of the glass panel which is $550. My consolation today was John said if the glass panel leaks, or I hear air, he will warranty the labor. I asked him if he would warranty the labor due to a crack in the panoramic glass due to poor installation and he said no! Essentially, what happened is the installer, John R. Hall owner of American auto glass has ruined the glass panoramic panel and I must now go to Tesla and have it installed properly and pay for installation charges again! Adding fuel to the fire Christine said yesterday on the phone they would refund the labor cost of $550 but upon arriving today, John R. Hall made it clear that was not going to happen. Steer clear of this company they're unethical and have a problem with the truth and technical installs.

Apparently the homeless employee was told by a Fernando that he could use my vehicle which was in Jesse's possession for approximately 2 months. Why so long? THe one stop shop that was hired to tint, detail, install a muffler, air filter, carpet and upgrade the sound system kept running into issues and delays. Stay FAR FAR away from this place. OVC is NOT a place that you can trust to bring a vehicle to. They lack security and allow homeless employees that they don't pay to go for joyrides and sleep in customer's vehicles. The work is subpar as the carpet they installed had to be removed as it didn't fit. I retrieved my vehicle in pieces, the shop is incompetent and was unable to finish the work after 2 months and probably concocted this whole theft drama to absolve them of doing the work. Not to mention the approximate loss of $2000 worth of stereo equipment. Liability? The company and owner seem to lack assets to be able to recoup losses. The best I can do is warn you, the reader of this review, to avoid this place at all costs. Nothing positive comes from dealing with businesses like this. Don't ever take your vehicle here. I felt like this needs to be said to help someone looking for a body shop. Made promises they can't keep. Said car would be done in 2 weeks took 2.5 months. Ask why my car wasn't done, said they have insurance jobs to do first, wish they said this in the beginning that my car would be a side job. They said they would wet sand and buff car when finish "make it look like glass", now want to charge extra for what they promised in the beginning. After getting the car back, now has chips and cracks in the bumper, they now want to charge extra to fix their issue of having too much paint or not prep properly. After many attempts to resolve the problems, I get "I have to change you extra for that" this place only cares about 1 thing, MONEY. Customer service is 0 to none. Mark the owner is very rude and gets upset very easily. Comments like "get your car out of here I'm tired of looking at it" or "I don't have to do what I promise" are not things you want to hear when you spend hard earn money at a business. I'm doing this to save the next guy looking for body shop. Mark you had many chances, many times to make this right but you refuse to resolve this. Start with treating people better and actually doing what you promise.
