My day started out and it's going to get inspection done on my previous vehicle that I purchase from platinum 2 years ago. My salesman, Lionel Dolphin was very instrumental in getting me in a newer vehicle, lower rates on my financing. A two year bumper to bumper warranty. The most amazing thing about the whole process was that my payment only went up by forty-twodollars, and with my ongoing medical conditions. That is a blessing. Now I have a even more reliable vehicle and no worries of service for the next two years. She went down with the impression that she had been preapproved for an auto loan only to find out she was not. They also somehow managed to track my computer while she was showing me cars the night before. No she did not login to the site with a username or anything but they literally tracked our progress WTH!!! At no time did I ever give them permission to track my computer and what I was doing, Makes me question what information the gleaned from my computer. And I will find out. They even called her that same night to ask her if she saw anything she liked. When we got there they proceeded to ask who's car we were in and all but insisted I needed to trade it in to either help her get a car or get myself a different car. Why would I need one that I would have to make payments on when I already owned outright I paid mine in full the day I purchased it. I lost count of how many times it was suggested that I trade it in. Next thing we know they had made her appointment to come back this Saturday to talk to a gal named Stephanie telling her once again she was pre-approved. They did not even ask her if she was available they simply set the appointment up without her knowledge until they decided to call her. Talk about predatory actions. read more

PLATINUM EXPERIENCE PT1 of 2: On 1/3/25, I went in to purchase a 2022 Dodge Durango with roughly 57K miles on it and the internet sales associate hooked me up with a salesman that just played middleman really. The salesman I genuinely believe is a good guy and well intentioned. The vehicle I was interested in had what looked to be a box cutter taken across the upholstery on the front passenger seat, some cigarette burns, a broken passenger side window switch and some minor scratches on the body but nothing of major concern there. The GM worked to get a deal done writing up slip which I still have showing a weekly payment of $189.00 or $756.00/mo. They wrote up a "We Owe" slip on the upholstery, window switch, and the GM threw in another key fob as the one that came with the vehicle allowed you to access it every 4th or 5th time you'd use it. The finance company I worked with does a post purchase interview in which you must disclose some personal information details (which are more than reasonable) with one of the questions being "have all necessary repairs been made to the vehicle by the dealership to your satisfaction" Unfortunately I was in the middle of traveling for work and my fiancés father was having some severe medical issues. When I was finally able to contact the finance company back, and they asked about the repairs, I let them know the circumstances and that the repairs were not complete. For Platinum, per line item #4 on their buyers disclosure and Representation agreement, the deal was NOT FINAL until the repairs were complete. I finished an honest interview with the finance company and I bet it wasn't an hour or two later when I received a message from a member of their leadership team telling me that I would need to call the finance company back and let them know that the vehicle is "good to go" in order to keep the deal and vehicle. With much apprehension, I called them back and told them it was fine so Platinum could collect their money on a vehicle that was around 3-4K over normal dealer value. Seeing as though I was without transportation, I just wanted to get it over with. A week or two later, I called to report an issue with the starter in that when I pressed the start button, the vehicle would crank for 10-20 seconds (sometimes starting and sometimes not) This issues was added to the repairs they already owed me and on 2/14/25, they sent a guy down to my home to drop off a loaner vehicle and pick up the Durango. I had the vehicle for a week and when mine was dropped back off on 2/21/25, I was told by the salesman that all issues had been fixed (they later backtracked on the starter issue, saying they had a dodge dealer in and could not replicate the issue despite me having the problem on just about a daily basis) They picked up the vehicle again at the beginning of this week after it let me sit several times again. The difference was that this time, once I made it back to my house and had to leave again, I went to start it and smoke started rolling out of the engine compartment. I popped the hood at one point and had an active fire in the engine compartment. My fiance was nearby and we had to hook our garden hose up to put out the fire. I reported this to Platinums leadership team and again found myself in a loaner vehicle. At this point, I did seek a legal opinion and will be working with a gentleman out of Philadelphia to square this away hopefully. I was asked by leadership to stop in Saturday 3/1/25 and was told they would try to work something out with me after they opened a claim with whir own insurance company. I arrived at the dealership yesterday at 9am and was asked to come back to the owners office to speak with him and the GM. The conversation was hostile as the owner asked what I was looking to get out of Platinum. I simply stated a "vehicle that STARTS, RUNS, AND IS ROAD SAFE" He told me I already have that. He went onto say that they would not be helping me, and this issue would not go under their insurance. The level of cockiness and pure arrogance out of this guy was beyond anything I've ever witnessed. Seeing as though he was completely disrespectful, I did have a few choice words for him as he said "were done here" and wanted me to be on my way. On the way out of his office, he made a comment towards me that made me stop in my tracks. When I looked at him sideways, he said "do something tough guy" I'm thankful this situation didn't occur 10 years ago. This may have not been their fault and certainly wasn't mine. Maybe its a mere coincidence that they drop it off one day and it's not drivable the next. Customer service definitely isn't their strong suit - buyer beware. Good business practice would have been to just fix the vehicle but unfortunately it will have to be escalated. I was told there was a $2,000 down payment assistance if I got a vehicle by the end of September which I did. Then I still had to put a down payment equivalent to the amount I was told that would be covered which they said was put towards the price of the vehicle so if that's the case why is there still a $2,100 down payment and on top of that I was told a price $1,000 less than the price they charged me. This place is a scam I would never go here again. It took 12 min (6.7 mi) via US-11 S and Carlisle Pike from your Dealership Platinum Mitsubishi, and this was after you Service Manager, Ryan Lawyer indicated that his Technician, Kaden Malawskey, filled the radiator with antifreeze. All the lights went off and I had to pull over. I originally was there for a tire rotation and diagnostics for the computer screen. Obviously they thought I had never been in a service department before or it was because I was a woman; you pick. In fact I worked for Interstate Ford and McCafferty Ford for many years under John Haines. Anyhow I paid for diagnostics and they told me that the radiator had a leak, which when I got there, it was leaking something and your other service person told me it was antifreeze. I drive 6.7 miles and all my lights overheat etc, lit up my dashboard. I called Ryan back and said are you sure they filled the radiator, which I trusted his word, and his answer was yes and I checked it myself. Well that was totally bogus. He lied to me, he also stated that because I was driving that it would have used all the antifreeze, once again he lied. By the way, after filling the radiator with a gallon of antifreeze I made it to Newville, and the whole way home 4568 Lemar Road, Mercersburg PA 17236, so your Dealership Service Department are liars. The bill did not charge me for the so-called antifreeze either. I will never return and I will also let Freysingers know of my disappointment and that I was taken advantage of, why I don't know but there is no way would I trust you to fix my vehicle. I wish I would have chalked the tires because I don't even know if they were rotated as requested since he LIED to my face and on the phone, I spent $173.79 today only to be lied too by your service manager. I am disabled after 30 years with the Government and I have never felt so violated by your dealership then I did today. Nor do I have $700+ for a radiator only to be without a car for 3-5 weeks, or $1100+ for a computer that they didn't check the fuses, cause the fuse cover was still off and my grandson had to put it back on. We ended up buying two got a Hyundai ELANTRA and when we test drove it, I told him they were scratches on the windows so they agreed to repair it and then I noticed there were scratches on the rear window and they said they were gonna fix both. But then didn't. They said couldn't do anything about the rear window. They were going to clean it up well needless to say they Did not get clean it up. They left the masking tape on the front window and I had to take it off now have residues in car. also inspected it for me when they gave me back the car it said my left rear tire needed to be replaced very soon and ever since I got it back I have to keep putting air in my left back tire all the time. I am regretting ever going there for a car again. First time we went there it was great this time was bullshit. I don't recommend them. I got my car July 26, 2019 two weeks later three cylinders misfired in my car they were replaced from months July to about February my car would hard idle and would not help me out at all and from February to May my car was in the shop they couldn't figure out what the issues were at the Hyundai dealership and they had to replace my whole engine at 62,000 miles I'm not saying this will happen to everyone but I'm saying you should be very careful when buying from this place they are very sketchy they just want your money as any other dealership I just think the way they handled the situation was very unfair and very immature for a big car business and I will never ever recommend this business to anyone again and good luck to anyone who gets a car from here read more

I wish I could give them negative stars...went in for an appointment with Leigh today....first off, she wasn't there. Decided to take a vacation day that day??? Excuse me what? We were there FOREVER trying to get my brother in any car so that he could get to work on Monday. Those asshats had the audacity to ask my brother for $10,000 down on a USED vehicle. I blew a gasket. I very loudly asked the salesperson if that was the cash price of the car or if he wanted his commission up front. I told the salesperson that even if my brother had that for a down payment hell would freeze over before I'd allow him to pay that and still finance the car! We told the salesperson that we wanted my brother's paystubs back that we'd go somewhere else where they wanted our money. So about an hour passes and still no paystubs. My mom says that in 5 minutes we're going up to the office and demanding his paystubs back and we're leaving. By now my brother's upset because he knows he needs a car by Monday...so he goes out for a cigarette and the salesperson sees him out by my truck (and probably thinks we're leaving)...goes out to him and asks him to come back in, that they'll get him in a car today. So my brother comes back in with the salesperson and about an hour later he leaves with a car. Why do you have to go through a bunch of bullshit and aggravation just to buy a damn car? It's not like my brother doesn't have a good job and a decent credit history. It just makes me dread it anytime someone asks me to go car shopping with them. I just know that it's not going to be a pleasant experience...and I have very little tolerance for stupidity and bad customer service. It seems the older I get the shorter the fuse gets...lol. Oh, and then the salesman makes me go to their website to give him a review...basically stating he won't leave us leave with the car until we do. So I went to the website on my phone and the blank stars showed up on my phone and he hurries up and presses five stars...the website automatically takes me to my google login then to record the review. The salesman walks back over to his seat and I just close out the webpage without logging in. I told the salesperson that I was done with the review. The salesman then tells me I didn't leave a review. I told him, "Damn right because I don't allow ANYONE to push me into something I don't want to do...and that he doesn't deserve five stars from the poor customer service we experienced today. I couldn't believe the salesman actually pushed 5 stars...he actually thought the service he gave us was worth 5 stars. The man disappeared more times during all this than time he spent with us. Bought a car 4 months ago from them. It was making a noise in the tire. Called to make an appt., They could not get me in for 3 weeks. So as I was leaving the front tire fell off. All 5 lugnuts broke and fender damage! The maintence dept. got very rude and blamed me, when I called several times and they could not get me in. They will take no responsibility and tried to talk me into trading the vehicle without turning it in to my insurance. They said they would pay off the loan completely and keep the payments the same. IT WAS A TOTAL LIE!! After being there 2 nights and several hours they offered me an outlandish deal that did not pay off my current loan and would have doubled my payment and loan terms. I went to Platinum about a year ago and it was great! However, I have recomended some friends and family use thier services. They have been treated poorly every time. Platinum is just slapping inspection stickers on broken cars to sell them. A friend bought a car from there with a fresh inspection. It had a bent wheel, and a broken axle. He had bought the extended warranty. So they were to fix the axle and replace the wheel. They put a used wheel on the car. And repaired the axle, instead of replacing it. And apon calling them out on it they were shoved out of Platinum. While being yelled and cursed at. Needless to say, I will never recomend them again. read more

They messed up my paperwork and after multiple calls and emails I still haven't heard anything back. my son and his family bought a used car from this dealership and was treated very poorly- first the car was not ready when they were told it would be ready. When my daughter in law and 2 small children arrived they were not greeted or had any clue she was coming and didn't know where the car was and said she could go on the lot and look for it in the RAIN !! ARE YOU KIDDING ME --why wasn't it waiting for her clean and ready --- they never cleaned the inside or outside so the way it got traded is is the same dirt that left the building that day. After 30 mins looking for the car she was ready to drive off when she noticed the gas light was on. A day later my son went into talk to the manager about how disappointed they were and he told him to get the F out of here. He said they don't clean up $3000. cars and he got a good deal now leave !
