Mike and Patrick are the owners of MJC. They happened to stop by my house while I was outside…read moretending to the garden. They gave me a quote on my driveway which seemed reasonable to me considering the amount of labor and materials involved. I had my whole driveway redone in a beautiful red brick with belgian blocks on the side. It looks fantastic right now. They did it in one week and considering the rain during last week it could have been done sooner but it wasn't rushed, they took their time. I usually don't write reviews but I think this warranted one. Mike was a bit aggressive in terms of pushing you to get other things done, but that was expected. How else is business done without being a bit aggressive. He and his team got the work done. There was also an accidental damage to my sidewalk that was done when the truck dumped the bricks to my sidewalk. I asked Mike about it and he promised it was going to be patched up. Today he kept his word and did what he promised. So definetly if you need honest guys who do brickwork on driveways, I think these guys are competitive and do great work. I would recommend again.

This is a tough review to write, because the crew (Nick & Elario) were outstanding; they were professional, friendly, and their work was excellent. They exceeded my expectations -- outstanding work! This would be a 5-star review, EXCEPT -- the communication from the company is terrible. They don't answer the phones, they don't answer emails, they don't return phone calls or reply to emails. They are extremely frustrating to deal with. Interestingly, if you call in the evening when the local office is closed, Groundworks Canada answers the call, and actually does their best to help. But the South Plainfield office, fuggedaboudit. But let me end by saying, the work they do lifting concrete is outstanding. Too bad they have such a dysfunctional administrative office.

SHADY CONTRACTOR ALERT: In June 2019 my neighbor and I hired Joe Bellamy AKA/DBA Bellamy & Son LLC…read moreto replace both of our asphalt driveways. His sales pitch was he lives in Piscataway so he has a vested interest in working in the community. Upon the completion of the repaving and the recommended number of days before a vehicle can be parked on the newly paved driveway. This happened to both driveways. The driveway began to sink under the weight of two cars resulting in over 20 potholes all over the driveway. Had to chase Joe around for over five weeks before he reluctantly repaved the driveway. Upon the completion of the second repaving and the recommended number of days before a vehicle can be parked on the repaved driveway. I waited an entire month before parking and it sunk again. Joe promised to fix it or refund our money first weekend in October 2019 never showed up. Now he's on the run. The guy has no customer service skills. HE DOES NOT RESPOND TO CALLS, TEXTS OR EMAILS and on occasion he'll through you a bone if you can get to talk to him he yells at his customers for reaching out. He can benefit from an anger management class. He ignores his customers and wants you to chase him around. Your best bet is to RUN when Joe Bellamy comes around. Not worth the headache. I should have listened to the older posts. Please share your experiences with this failure of a company.

Our driveway was 6 inches lower than our garage and the walkway wasn't lined up to the driveway or patio. After a few outrageously expensive estimates from several companies and a few aggressive sales pitches I came across Concrete Chiropractor. The estimation process was simple as they asked me to take pictures and included a guide on how to do it. They followed up with a phone call and explained the process to me. They then sent me a DocuSign document (contract) and told me they would be in touch to schedule in a few weeks. When the crew showed up they again explained the process and in just a few hours everything was fixed perfectly and the price was fair. In fact they don't haggle or play games just give a fair price for the work.
