My cashmere sweater was hanging yet I have spoken to them numerous times NOT to hang my sweaters to fold and hang over the hanger as hanging them like a shirt ruins them- it stretches them out and also leaves "bat wings" on the shoulders. When I asked why my sweater was hanging she ripped the bag open, tote the sweater off the hanger and folded it and hung it over a pant hanger- this TOTALLY does nothing!!! The damage is already done. She should have kept the sweater and redone it but she THREW my clothes in my back seat not even hanging. I told her I didn't think I should pay for the sweater but she gave me my total with the sweater anyway. I will NEVER return. This place is awful.

A favorite silk dress that had a oil stain on it for 5+ years, just could not bring myself to throw it away after many attempts to fix it. I even forgot to mention the stain when dropping it off. When I got home from picking it up I was amazed that the stain was GONE! Wore the dress that night out to dinner....and I was convinced it was a goner. The second item, my favorite jacket that like a moron I wore to the stables and practically ruined. Michelle one of the owners called me concerned that the leather might not respond well and I figured it couldn't get much worse so go ahead. Let me tell you that thing is beautiful, looks just like it did when I bought it! There were no issues with the leather portions and it was crisp and clean and let me tell you it was dirty, seriously beyond ick dirty! We picked them up today and promptly hung them only to find out that the drapery panels themselves have been shrunk! The lining now hangs at least 2" longer than the panels and the panels are close to 3" shorter than they were when we took them in for cleaning. I contacted the owner who stated it was not their fault as items that are cleaned do not shrink. Well I beg to differ because my drapes have been ruined and are not useable now.

That kind of integrity is rare. She easily could have made more money off me, but she chose to do what was best for me instead. I originally brought in two pairs of pants to get hemmed, and after talking it through, we only ended up hemming one. That alone saved me about $50. Most places wouldn't do that, but she genuinely looks out for her customers. On top of that, she was knowledgeable, professional, and took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. If you want someone who truly cares and does quality work, I highly recommend Shiang. I'll definitely be coming back.
