ABSOLUTELY GIVE THEM A TRY! I dropped off two items that I NEVER thought could be resurrected! A favorite silk dress that had a oil stain on it for 5+ years, just could not bring myself to throw it away after many attempts to fix it. I even forgot to mention the stain when dropping it off. When I got home from picking it up I was amazed that the stain was GONE! Wore the dress that night out to dinner....and I was convinced it was a goner. The second item, my favorite jacket that like a moron I wore to the stables and practically ruined. Michelle one of the owners called me concerned that the leather might not respond well and I figured it couldn't get much worse so go ahead. Let me tell you that thing is beautiful, looks just like it did when I bought it! First and last time I use these cleaners. Dropped off 10 shirts to be dry cleaned. Two shirts had a stain which I brought to their attention. They said they would work on the stains. Picked up my shirts and the stains were still there, they laundered the shirts and said if I wanted the stains out, they would try to dry clean them at an additional cost of 5.00 plus a shirt. read more

I searched for a reputable cleaners in Woodstock for years. A buddy (thanks Patty) finally turned me onto these guys. It's a small family owned operation with two of the nicest people in the world running it. Not only do they do all of our dry cleaning, but they altered my wifes wedding dress and all of my suits. These guys are a small one stop shop with amazing services and solid prices. I cannot tell you how many times I've had them overnight my shirts and they never charge me extra. They just smile and say, "OK, we'll have it tomorrow morning." Thats what I'm talking about! I have had leather coats cleaned, sport coats altered and dry cleaned, pants hemmed and dry cleaned, shirts laundered and press and put on hangers. In the past 4 years that I have lived in Woodstock and taken my clothes to World Drycleaner I have received excellent service, perfect alterations, clean and heavy startched shirts just the way I like them. For me to no longer use them I would have to move from Woodstock. Keep up the good work! read more

In a past generation our family business was dry cleaning, so I am very picky. World Cleaners lives up to my expectations over and over. I have had them clean, alter, and repair clothes, get stains and spots out, and every time they have done a great job. I even had a pair of pants with a missing button on a pocket and they fixed it without an additional charge and without my mentioning it. Both of the people who work the door are nice and helpful. We used this cleaners faithfully for 3 years but sadly I must change my review. BTW our bill is usually around 100.00 or two weeks of clothing. I'm not sure what's gone on in the last 6 months but we've had clothes not cleaned, collars messed up or still stained, and clothes ruined. More recently the owner is incresingly resistant to doing anything to fix obvious issues. After a experiencing that, anyone's loyalty would disappear. Tried this place because the dry cleaners I used on Town Lake was too far from where I now live. These guys wrecked my shirt that I have dried cleaned elsewhere for months with no problems. Instead of reimbursing me for the shirt or even acknowledging it was their fault they told me it was the fault of the company that made the shirt and I should take it back to the store where I bought it. Are you kidding me?!!?!! I will never recommend this dry cleaners to any one. If you are looking for a dry cleaners with integrity do not use this one and if you do good luck if something goes wrong. read more

Went today after the recommendations listed to take a silk girls dress with inlayed pearls on the chest, the dress was very lightly soild. I informed the owner of the delicate matter of the pearls did not need to be damaged when pressed, and was told by owner "YOU NEED TO TAKE THE DRESS TO ANOTHER CLEANER". I will tell everyone that I know even if "YELP" removes this comment in which they have informed me and done so with another experience that I had with another business.
