After contemplating just not ever going home, on a last ditch effort I called the number that was part of the invoice and someone answered right away. He provided an excellent solution which allowed me to get the garments and kept me from being roasted over an open fire. If you have something fancy, they are careful and treat it with kid gloves, and they have a good value and quick turnaround for your standard stuff... I told him listen these 2 pants and jacket are very important for me on other pants had shiny spots etc I trusted because I explained and didn't think this happens.but I was wrong they screwed again Pants double lines now from poor ironing And jacket smells between sweat and hot iron. I could have sworn I left a review years ago.....not sure what happened. Anyway....... I first started using this cleaner.....can't remember when but it was a very long time ago. Let's say prior to 2013 because I worked in the area and used them consistently before 2013. I still use them and to put it in perspective.....I drive from Marietta to Sandy Springs just for drive cleaning since I no longer work in the area. I make it worth my while too... and visit other retailers in the area when I need clothes dry cleaned. I'm sure there are other dry cleaners close to me that also offer Organic Cleaning but why would I go to them if I'm happy with Elegant? The young lady that worked here in the past , I think she was the daughter. She was always very sweet, would remember my name, and always greeted you with a smile. I don't have any complaints about the new staff. They are polite, never an issue with my clothes or anything. I just miss being remembered by face when I pull up. Speaking of pull up, that's the best part. You don't leave your car, ever. Your items are also put back in your car when you pick them up. You will also get a text reminder to pick up your clothes if you aren't able to pick up on the time listed on your ticket. When the hours were adjusted, I also received a text letting me know of the new hours. I really appreciated that because the timing was perfect; I had clothes that needed to be cleaned. The price for me is reasonable because I'm paying for organic cleaning versus the chemicals that a majority of other cleaners use which is not safe at all. read more

I left a bag of clothes there for so long, I'd forgotten about them. Two years later the owner called me to pick them up. Now that's service! Their prices remain low even with inflation. Eight pieces are $22. Dresses count as two and silk and linen are $1 extra. It's worth it because cancer is no bargain. Perc (which non-organic dry cleaners use) is carcinogenic. It remains in clothes after dry-cleaning and skin is the body's largest organ. So you're absorbing those chemicals every time you get dressed. This is the only cleaners I'll patronize and I'm trying to convert my friends and family as well. read more

I was a frequent customer of this cleaners since I moved to Atlanta in 2011. I never had any complaints, they knew my husband and I by name and the prices were more than fair for an organic dry cleaning service. Even when I moved out of the area, I always drove back to Sandy Springs to drop of our dry cleaning. The Drive up window made everything very easy. In the last few months, it seems like they have changed management and the work has definitely been sloppy. Several stains on my husbands pants were not properly removed and a pair of his chinos were creased in the center and chinos are not meant to be creased since they are pants and not dress slacks. The big reason for my review is because I dropped of an order of 7 items in anticipation for a vacation I was taking. I waited my standard 2 days (what it said on my ticket) and went to grab my clothes. When I got there, I was told that they were not ready. I mentioned that I was going on vacation and needed to pick up my clothes that week. The gentleman (that I believe may be the new owner) told me that he would personally make sure that my clothes would be ready the next day. As promised, I got a text from them letting me know my order was ready so I drove to pick them up and I asked them why there was a delay? The woman behind the counter said she wasn't sure and gave me my order. Not thinking much of it I drove off. When I got home I realized one of my shirts was missing. I called them promptly the next morning and let them know. They said they would look for it and call my back. They never called me back. So I called back the next 3 days and every time they said they couldn't find it but that they would keep searching. Finally the day before I left for vacation the owner told me that the shirt had either been lost or put on someone else's order. His reasoning for it was "sometimes this just happens" Which to me was a very insensitive way to put it. They reimbursed me for my shirt and he offered up the same apology and reasoning, which wasn't good enough for me, given that the previous management had never done that and had always been super attentive to me. Needless to say, I'm now looking for a new Dry Cleaners. read more

This was my second time going to this dry cleaners. I love that its in the same parking lot of Trader Joe's, which I visit weekly. They do a good job on cleaning and pressing, also the prices are competitive. What I do find unique about this place is my pick up ticket does not indicate the number of articles I left. IMO its very handy in making me feel comfortable that all my items have been collected once I get my clothes back. My last visit was frustrating because I had to make 4 trips to pick up my complete order. Saturday only the dry cleaning was ready but the alterations would not be ready until Monday (which I was forewarned about). On Saturday I was promised my alteration would in fact be ready Monday. We returned on Monday - Only to be promised it would be ready on Tuesday. Once again on Tuesday we were told the garments were not ready and to come back on Wednesday. Finally they were ready on Wednesday. I understand things happen, and the lady here is usually very friendly. But its a pet peeve of mine to get a an attitude from the business owner when its their own faulty operations which were the catalyst of the problem. I asked for a discount in return for the inconvenience of making multiple trips to the dry cleaners. She sneered "yeah ... I'll give you 10% off and next time I'll just tell you a longer waiting period" Well ... yeah, if its going to take longer than just tell me upfront ... and next time I'll pass on the attitude. Agreed w/several of the earlier reviews that this ORGANIC dry cleaner is my NEW & now ONLY cleaner I will use! I recently visited this place due to the positive online reviews that this cleaner uses ORGANIC cleaning methods (I hate the harsh chemical smell of "usual" dry cleaners & it's not healthy to breathe anyway). I also really liked the fact that this cleaner is located smack in the middle of the TJ's parking lot in Sandy Springs (I couldn't find at 1st so be aware it's the very small drive-thru place in the middle of the shopping ctr). Agreed w/other reviews that the lady who works there is very nice & helpful. Best of all, the prices are very affordable ($25 for a KING-size comforter vs. $50+ other places!). And BEST is the fact that since they use only organic cleaning materials, the returned dry-cleaned product(s) have a very PLEASANT & fragrant smell to them vs. an overly disgusting & heavy chemical smell as with most other cleaners. Ahhh, what a true gem to find and such a refreshing change, I won't think of going anywhere else in the future (either)! read more

I have never been to a place where upon return to pick up your items they ask you to describe them, even with the ticket. This has happened twice at Elegant Cleaners and so has "oh it will be ready Friday" then Friday "oh it will be ready on Saturday" only for the actual pick up date to be Monday. Don't worry though, even after the big inconvenience they will offer you 10% off never mind the wasted gas/trips. read more

Everyone understood that the early closing on Saturday was because the charming daughter with the unbelievable memory worked 6 days a week! I still go to Elegant, but have been disappointed in the results (linen shirts that were supposed to be dry cleaned were laundered and cost more than dry cleaning, 1:00 Saturday closing, more expensive rug cleaning than previously) so it may not be worth the drive from Roswell. read more

Best of all, the prices are very affordable and they use only organic cleaning materials. The drive-thru option is very convenient, but I usually stop in when I'm going to Trader Joe's anyway so I often just walk up and hand over my items. I was visiting family in Sandy Springs and wanted to find a dry cleaner who provided quality service. Since Yelp seems to cover so many services I tried searching here first. Elegant had good reviews. Elegant dry cleaning was nearby, & is actually located in the middle of Trader Joe's parking lot. I dropped off a dark linen dress & hoped it would be done well & not laundered or shrunk. It returned very well - no worries! Also, the day manager is very calm, friendly and kind. It was a pleasant experience! Although I am not a year-round customer, they have earned a reputation now for my daughter, who does live here. We recently had a duvet and comforter cleaned. I asked that they stay together during the cleaning process so that I wouldn't have to refill the duvet with the comforter because of the difficulty of putting it back together. When I went to pick it up, the only thing that made it back was the duvet. No sign of the comforter and they clearly didn't follow instructions of not disassembling it. After several hours, the "found" the comforter, though I american quite sure it is not my original one which was fuller than the one that was returned. read more

I was excited when I found this place as they have fair prices and offer organic cleaning (love love love), but I soon was disappointed. Many of my garments were returned with stains on them. Luckily they were nice enough to redo them for me and most of the stains came out. However, they ruined one of my favorite Joie silk shirts (color was removed from the garment because they must have spilled some solution on it). I understand that accidents happen but they refused to stand behind it. They said this has never happened before (and they have been in business for more than 20 years) and since I didn't notice it right away, they can not help me. This is very disappointing as I have been coming here for a few years and I like them and their services. Remember to check your favorite items before you leave, I wish I would have. read more

I am very u happy with the customer service at this dry cleaners. I dropped of several pairs of my husband's work slacks and one party dress. I was told they'd be ready for pick up several days later on Thursday. I arrive Saturday to pick up the items and am told they aren't ready (though it's past Thur) bc the dress is holding up the order. No one called to tell me my order was delayed so I drove over for nothing. The gentleman was nice about it and apologized (after suggesting I should've waited for a text to know my order was ready rather than relying on the date they gave me on drop off). I continue not to hear from the cleaners and return Tuesday (now 5 days past pick up day), and my order is still not ready. To make it worse, Brittany gives me an attitude, and when I say I just want my clothes back and want to speak to the owner Trent, she says she'll have him call me later bc he's out of town. I ask again for his number, so I can follow up directly, and she refuses to give me his contact number. Unreal. I was driving to this cleaners out of my way bc their past service seemed good. Not anymore. Once I get my clothes (if that ever happens, at this point I'm losing faith), I'm done. read more

I had been going here for years and Salima was always kind and addressed me by name. Yesterday I put on a top that was straight out of the plastic and because I had a jacket over it did not realize that it had new marks (that were not there when I took it to be cleaned) on it. Since I was shopping at trader joes that afternoon I popped over to tell her expecting a simple apology and request to being it back to be recleaned . Instead I was accused of soiling it myself. I went back today and told Salima how hurt was that she accused me of lying. She got indignant and said how insulted she was....whatever happened to the customer being right. Sadly I am looking for a new dry cleaner since I can't go somewhere where I am not afforded the respect I give to them. read more

Got a dress 'dry cleaned.' Dropped it off with tiny, barely-noticeable wine spots, AND IT CAME BACK WITH A HUGE BROWN STAIN on the front. Looks way worse than when I dropped it off. I called, and he refused to give me a refund. Went on and on about how they don't need my money...was INCREDIBLY RUDE...no kind of customer service or apology. read more

So far so good. I just dropped some shirts off to be laundered today, which is Saturday. Good news 1) prices are VERY reasonable, 2) staff is VERY friendly, 3) the shirts will be ready Monday p.m. which is an excellent turnaround. I gave them a couple of older shirts that will be a challenge (collar stains from perspiration.) If they don't come out it will be okay, I was interested to see what they can do. Great little spot very close to home for me. I will post again after I see the results but I am very confident they will do a good job. Heavy starch! hehe read more
