While the facility is clean and the staff is wonderful, I am giving this a 4-star review instead of a 5-star because of a frustrating issue with the dryer timers. ​Whenever you open a dryer door to pull a few items out early, the timer keeps ticking down. You end up losing precious minutes that you paid for while the machine is paused. I have mentioned this before, and I really hope the owner can find a way to remedy this so the timer pauses when the door is opened. ​Aside from that issue, the facility itself is great. It is about two years old, filled with excellent new machines, and kept incredibly clean. I also appreciate that when the owner adjusted the dryers to 10 cents a quarter, he lowered the washing machine prices from $5.75 down to $5.00. Another big plus is the late hours, with the last wash at 8:00 PM and closing at 10:00PM ​The absolute best part of this laundromat is the staff. There are three ladies who work here, including Elena, who opens in the morning. They are the heartbeat of this business and work incredibly hard. ​Recently, the owner seems to have secured a new hotel contract because flatbeds and trucks have been arriving loaded down with massive trailers of dirty laundry. Even though their workload has easily tripled, these three women don't skip a beat. They keep the place spotless--constantly wiping down the machines inside and out, cleaning the dryers, and keeping the floors immaculate--all while being warm and friendly to everyday customers. ​Because the laundromat is open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, these ladies are putting in long, demanding days, with Elena often working past her shift to handle the commercial laundry. It was middle of August and really freaking hot. They had no AC, and the place was pretty busy. I'm glad they have so many machines, and the machines vary in sizes so that you don't have to use bigger machines if you have a smaller load of laundry to do. The number of machines helped get in and out quickly. I did 6 loads of laundry in around 40 minutes. Just wish the AC was working as the 2 or 3 fans they had setup there were not doing much to keep it cool inside. You can pay with change there, or you can download the app and pay on there. I preferred that option as it was quicker and you didn't have to worry about dropping coins and chasing them. It did seem a little pricey to me, but maybe I just haven't been to a laundromat in a bit.

I wish I would've gotten it because he deserves a raise. I was really impressed with his work ethic and his kind treatment of those of us coming in so late at night one of the best experiences I've had at a late night laundromat and all my years of traveling to work at sporting and music events with pouring rand soaked everyone's clothing grateful that they were opened so that our clothes could be free from mud and drive for the next day. I also met three wonderful young people from the Atlanta area, who were kind enough to share conversation and when they noticed I had playing cards in my bag taught me how to play a new game called speed kudos out to those young people who knew at 1:45 AM on what ended our work night soaked & muddy would lead me to meet three young that saved my solo laundry venture by teaching me a new game of cards

While the facilities were clean enough, the machines were a little grimy with detergent residue where it is added because of the style of machines. (I still use a traditional top loading machine.). Because it's been a long time, as I said, I had no idea what to expect as far as cost. It was definitely expensive--but again, I used quarters last time, and it would take a lot to dry your towels. I used a debit card, which was a nice convenience. All in all, I would use this business again if I had the need, and would be better prepared as to what to expect.
