But this time I needed some help getting a ton of laundry loaded into my vehicle and the guy working there was a huge help - didn't ask questions, even bagged most everything up for me, despite the late hour. Premises clean, helpful attendant. Machines very expensive as you really get jacked up for using anything different than cold water which is expensive itself. My main objection is having to buy a laundry card before using the machines. If you are not local and will never use the card again, then it's robbery. If you are local, it's yet another card to carry around. Not cool. I travel a lot and have never seen this banditry anywhere else. read more

Our washer died and it was 10 days to the delivery of the new one so I needed a laundromat. Picking Patio solely based on it being the closest one to our house, I was pleasantly surprised. Large, clean and well lit, I didn't have to wait for a machine even with it being busy. All the machines are card activated (no cash/coin option) but the card was only $1 and I had it purchased and loaded in under 2 mins. For 2 loads it was ~$20 total and 2 hours of time (I had to run one of the loads through the dryer twice ) I didn't have to interact with the staff much but the woman I did interact with was pleasant and helpful. While I will be happy to have an in-house washer again, this was much more pleasant experience than I'd expected. read more

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the laundromat. Plenty of machines, reasonably priced and clean. $2.75 per load for smaller machine and $7.00 for a larger one. They have a vending machine to provide your needs that works with the laundry card you will need to purchase when you arrive. Parking is ample and easy, patio area was nice but patrons use it as a smoking section. The attendant was very helpful and polite. Highly recommend. read more

I will travel across Atlanta just to come to this laundromat. The place is still clean minus the bathroom. The bathrooms are ok it just needed to be checked on everytime someone needs to use it. (The bathrooms are always locked). The place is spacious and it's enough machines for everyone. I will still highly recommend to everyone that need a clean place to wash and fold clothes. read more

I made a trip to this laundry based on the reviews I had read. Needless to say, I went away disappointed. The parking lot needs to be re-paved and there was trash strewn in the parking lot. But, I decided to go in anyway. The interior is spacious and very well lit. Lots of washers to handle any size load and a good quantity of dryers. The music playing was very nice. I believe it was an 80's mix of different genres. So, I go in and get my clothes in a washer and then try to get a laundry card. Imagine my disappointment when none of the cards I attempted to use would allow me to get a new card and load funds onto it. The attendant was nice, but couldn't help. So, I ended up loading my clothes back into the hampers and went to Hubesch Laundry on Pleasant Hill in Duluth where I never have an issue. I am disappointed, but all in all maybe I will try again another day. read more

The best laundromat I've yelped about! This laundry mat was user-friendly/lived up to the reviews! I went to the Brookhaven/Buford Hwy location after 3 sizable loads needed urgent attention. I decided to give Patio a try since my "at home" machine was constantly occupied (and not very thorough). Purchasing the laundry card is straight-forward and they accept debit/cards; not just cash or coins. There's different machines for load size and plenty of carts to put your laundered wares in for transporting/folding. I was able to fit all loads of washed clothes into 1 dryer! The price was on-point and the whole wash + dry was FAST. I didn't feel like I spent the whole day there. The whole place was clean and I felt very comfortable with the cleanliness of the machines. They were sanitized after usage each time I noticed. I don't usually say laundry day is relaxing, but this definitely was a pleasant and refreshing experience. read more

The woman working the front today with the head scarf was extremely rude. She laughed in the face of a customer asking for assistance with the laundry cards and was difficult to even get from behind the desk. She has a nasty attitude and makes the facility look bad. read more

I come to Patio Laundry because it is big, well lit and because of the amazing staff. This location in Peachtree corners is So clean, and I feel safe, no matter what time I come. Eric is amazing! He is so friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure your experience is the best. He never stops working. He keeps this location So clean. It's the only Laundromat I will go to. I drive 30 minutes to get here, and it is definitely worth the drive. Keep up the great work!!! read more

Very clean place. Used it when I was in from out of town. Places to wait inside and out.

The place is very clean but my experience was bad. I selected hot water but the machine didn't use it ( even through there is a extra charge for it) I was touching the water during the whole cycle but the water still cold. The person in charge checked but nothing can be done at that time ( the machine was in spinning) i said: just be aware that is happening. At the end of the cycle I realized that the softener never was used by the machine. When I let the staff know they said "yeah... it's a very sh**ty machine." Well... very disappointed about that response. read more

The short dude who works the spot is wild rude. My husband and I went to wash there and were greeted with "Don't come this way... the floor is wet!!" Well hon for starters we saw you with the mop. I have to agree with the reviews. This laundry mat was awesome. I have a washer and dryer in my place that works great but unfortunately I've been spending more time buying clothes than washing them and they've gotten too much for me to bare at home. So I got this bright idea to pack them all up and wash at the laundry mat. I went with my cousin And it worked out well lol we got all our laundry done in about an hour. Amazing! It was great parking, everything looked new and clean and I only spent about 10-12$ for the wash and dry. And let me tell you - clothes were completely dry after one cycle and it was only $1.79. I'm assuming this is cheap since I don't go to laundry mats. Will definitely use again if I get out of hand again :) read more

Great laundromat! I like many others have a washer/dryer at home, but hate washing comforters and quilts one by one. I prefer throwing all my comforters in one huge machine to wash and dry. Problem solved. This place is a few miles up the road from me. Figured I would give it a chance. Plus they use cards instead of coins! Also 24 hours! It's safe here at night honestly. This is a brand new laundromat, and I must say I am impressed. My previous laundromat doesn't compare, it's a large space well lit & PLENTY of BRAND NEW dryers & washers in various sizes. The prices varies per load $6-$9 depending on size of load and the type of cycle & 1 ish - 2 ish dollars for dryer (27-30 min) depending on what size of dryer you choose to use, no need to worry about dragging around a bag of quarters, they use pay cards that you can load up with money (cash or credit cards) to use on the washers/dryers. The place is really clean and well kept, the 2 workers I have encountered are extremely friendly and helpful, there are plenty of chairs and TVs to entertain you while you wait, vending machines for your snaking needs and you can wash your clothes anytime because it is 24 hours 7 days a week excluding Thanksgiving & Christmas. I will be using this laundromat for all my laundry needs :) read more

This laundromat was just opened a few weeks ago, of that. Not only is it ENORMOUS, but it is very clean. There are plenty of comfy chairs (including picnic tables outside-I believe this used to be a restaurant). There's a tv, two drink machines, a snack machine, and game machines for the kids. There are numerous washers and dryers, all of which are brand new and clean. The best part about this place is that YOU DONT NEED ANY QUARTERS! You buy a card for $1.00 and load money on it via cash or card. Even the drink machines take cards. The attendant was friendly and walked me through the process. While there are closer laundromats to my home, I am willing to bypass them and make a trip up here each time I need to wash. Anxious to see how this place does on the upcoming months! read more

They have a variety of different size washers which is super hard to come by and their prices are a lot cheaper than I expected. This place is so clean and I felt super comfortable while doing my laundry. The staff was so helpful with me being there for the first time! A Laundry makes sense here since there is a dearth of such services all along Holcomb Bridge. The previous failures of "night clubs" in this space were ill-conceived and deserved. All of the positive points that are made in the reviews here make sense. Patio Laundry is (relatively) clean and somewhat spacious. But ... if you are handicapped in any way, such as being in a wheelchair or having trouble walking, Patio Laundry is a chore to enter and exit and maneuver in. There is a significant curb to clear if you enter the front door. There are no handicap parking spaces out front and the only 'ramp' is on the opposite side of the building at the Firehouse Subs. There is a side door with a small space where the curb has been ramped but it is frequently blocked by trucks dropping off and picking up laundry for vendors and services. If it is not blocked by trucks then it is blocked by whomever has been "lucky" enough to snag the parking spot. The actual parking spot on that side of the building are quite small so navigating around a car or truck in the spot is a bit difficult. Once you are inside the front loading laundry machines are low enough to ground that you should be able to use them if you are in a wheelchair but if you have trouble bending down, there is no choice for a higher machine. Like every coin laundry, people drop their items then leave and return whenever they are ready to, so their clothes may languish in the machines for way too long. There is a tv near the front of the space... thats much too loud, it should use its captioning feature because on the other side of the building they are playing music so the tv and the music are in competition with each other and the video games. read more

I have been using patio laundry for almost 2 years. These are my observations. * The machines are always very Clean and machines that are down are clearly marked. *There are several machines of each load size... Though at peak times you will often still need to wait on a machine. *Washer prices are very on par for the market though dryers run a bit more than most places. *The bonus cash is a nice incentive however it doesnt show as part of your existing balance, is only usable on the machines (ie not for snacks or detergent), and only accessible after you have exhausted all normal funds. Ps no one will explain this unless you explicitly ask. *The Cards they use to pay are also super handy especially since you can load them with a credit/debit card. *Sometimes the dryer will double charge you for a dry when adding time to your dryer. Which wouldn't be so bad except..... *Staff will abjectly refuse to admit any fault on the part of their business in any way. They will ALWAYS blame the patron right down to telling you garments you have washed with them religiously are the culprit of an issue than admit their machines malfunctioned. My last point is why only three stars. It would be five if when I have a legitimate problem ie the dryer double charged me, or your washer didn't spin out my laundry I didn't have to wage a verbal war of blame just to get it fixed. Overall the place is clean and as long as you don't have a problem the staff is nice. Just wish they would own the fact that sometimes machines don't work as intended and in those instances you should take care of your customers with out a big argument. read more

Just finished several loads. Very clean, large with many rolling baskets. 24hrs and attended! Also has a ramp from parking lot (on side) easily accessible for us handicapped. The attendant was polite and helpful for this first timer. Very reasonable. Uses a laundry card so you don't have to bother with coins. Will definitely be back!! It was my first time here and it will not be my last time. This laundromat is VERY clean. Employees were constantly cleaning to keep everything sanitary which is very much appreciated during the current pandemic going on. I was helped by a very nice woman with blonde hair. She was very happy to show me everything around the business so that I knew how to maneuver through the process of getting my laundry done. Also, she monitored the building very well and in a professional and friendly manner making sure was comfortable and had what they needed. The washer and dryers are also great! my clothes came out very clean and smelling AMAZING!!! It's a 5/5 for me and highly recommended if you're looking for a new place to go :) read more

This was my first time coming to this laundry mat. It was very a cleanest facility I've been to and the staff was friendly staff. The only downside and reason why I will not be returning is because they only offer one pay option. I was hoping to be able to use my own debit or credit card at the machines but the only option they have is "laundry cards" that they provide. They're machines there to add funds to the laundry card with a $5 minimum. Just a bit inconvenient, and over complicated for a simply wash and dry experience. read more

I just moved to Alpharetta and did not have my washer/dryer yet. The first few times I had to wash clothes, I went to another laundry mat. It was small, not so clean, and didn't have air. I thought, there has to be a better place. This is it! It is big, clean, and air conditioned. You also use your debit card or cash to load a card to use on all machines. No more 4,000 quarters! I would recommend this place to everyone. They also have a nice staff. read more

Today is my first time to use Patio Laundry and I was impressed! It is very clean, has nice seating areas and several sizes of washers and dryers. There is an outside seating area on a covered patio. There is an attendant present, as well. You pay by putting an amount of money on a laundry card that is read by the machines, which can be reloaded. Try it, you'll like it! read more

BEWARE!! This laundry does not take quarters. They force you to use their card or Speed Queen app at the Brookhaven location. Because they are no longer open 24 hours I don't use them. They will not refund my money from the card or the app. Regarding the Speed Queen app, it's cumbersome and irritating. UPDATE: Received a response from Dustin. He didn't seem to understand I use both of his locations. One uses a card and one uses an app. The store that uses the app did not offer cash or coin option when I asked. So I used the app. Regardless, he NEVER once in his email offered a resolution, further proving my point that this place will rip you off. This review, and others, stand until I get my money back.
