No regrets. The setup's better than expected: couches and stools in the waiting area, WiFi that actually works, and vending machines stocked with snacks and drinks if you're in it for the long haul. Plenty of food options nearby, too, if your wash cycle turns into lunch. Big washers are $5.00, dryers run you 25¢ for every 5 minutes. Bring quarters or hit the change machine--it's right near the vending machines. Bonus: they offer fluff & fold services. I used to love this when I lived in San Diego--there's something magical about getting your laundry back clean, folded, and ready to put away like you have your life together. This time around, I brought my GuppyFriend bag (because microplastic pollution is real), and asked the staff if the machines have built-in filters. The person on duty didn't know but said she'd ask the owner. Until then? Happy to have my own microplastic plan in place. Overall? Splish Splash Laundromat is clean, convenient, and worth the spin.

My 4-Star Review for WaveMax Laundry I have been coming to…read morethis WaveMax Laundry location off Cobb Parkway near the Big Chicken almost every week on Tuesdays or Wednesdays at midday for months now. While the facility is clean and the staff is wonderful, I am giving this a 4-star review instead of a 5-star because of a frustrating issue with the dryer timers. Whenever you open a dryer door to pull a few items out early, the timer keeps ticking down. You end up losing precious minutes that you paid for while the machine is paused. I have mentioned this before, and I really hope the owner can find a way to remedy this so the timer pauses when the door is opened. Aside from that issue, the facility itself is great. It is about two years old, filled with excellent new machines, and kept incredibly clean. I also appreciate that when the owner adjusted the dryers to 10 cents a quarter, he lowered the washing machine prices from $5.75 down to $5.00. Another big plus is the late hours, with the last wash at 8:00 PM and closing at 10:00PM The absolute best part of this laundromat is the staff. There are three ladies who work here, including Elena, who opens in the morning. They are the heartbeat of this business and work incredibly hard. Recently, the owner seems to have secured a new hotel contract because flatbeds and trucks have been arriving loaded down with massive trailers of dirty laundry. Even though their workload has easily tripled, these three women don't skip a beat. They keep the place spotless--constantly wiping down the machines inside and out, cleaning the dryers, and keeping the floors immaculate--all while being warm and friendly to everyday customers. Because the laundromat is open from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, these ladies are putting in long, demanding days, with Elena often working past her shift to handle the commercial laundry. I truly hope the owner recognizes their dedication under this heavy new workload and rewards them with a well-deserved raise. They treat this business like it is their own and deserve to be financially appreciated!

So by the time it was noticed, I was more worried about the dress physically staying on. I was relatively new to Atlanta & had gotten my dress at Bridals By Lori's - this was suggested & I went with it. The whole process felt rushed, there was parts I still wasn't completely sold on but they told me thats how the wedding dress was supposed to feel / it was supposed to be put on that high. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. It's all I notice now in photos & paid a ridiculous price for it.

The man who helped me assured me they tried several times to remove a few small stains from a couple of my trousers but all of them were still there. Having worked in the business I know that almost all stains are removable. What's very upsetting here is that when I took them home and tried to remove them myself they came out quite easily. I was only bringing them here because I don't have time to wash all of my clothes by myself as I don't have all the equipment. Even though the front desk guy was nice I'm so disappointed that it seems like they simply press your clothes and that's it.

Long version: I brought 2 very nice dress shirts made with a stretchy material. I thought given the 5 star reviews, I could trust her judgment. I let her feel the material of my shirts and asked her if she could dry clean them without shrinking or damaging them at all. I said I could iron them myself if not. After feeling the material, she said that washing and then pressing the shirts was best. After I picked up my 2 shirts, I left her one more shirt because I had an important upcoming meeting. 20 minutes later I tried on one of the shirts she had dry cleaned and quickly noticed it had shrunk. I called her and ask her to please not press the 3rd shirt I had just given her (she said she had already put it in the wash). Over the phone, she assured me she wouldn't press it, but when I picked it the following day, I noticed it was pressed anyways. And, of course, it was shrunk too. In sum, she does not understand sensitive fabrics, she doesn't do what she says she'll do, and she won't admit she is wrong after ruining your clothes. AVOID!
