The vibes always great. I book with Jason on booksy every time. He takes cuts everyday of the week. One thing i like about Jason the most is he takes his time with your cut to make sure its exactly what you want. Great spot read more

I don't know if the barber was not having a good day or what his issue was, but he definitely did not give me a good haircut. I highly recommend to go to a different barber! read more

Platinum Barber - Barbers Near Me - Lake Mary, Florida

No issues with my barber. I pick only one to do my hair. But, ambience sucks. Loud music and barbers are loud themselves I hate to say the above, since I respect the barbers and want them to shine. But a little elegance and professionalism could make a world of difference read more

First time at this local barber shop, when I came here this place was packed with people but managed to find someone to cut me. The hair cut was good and it was very detailed but they sure do take there sweet time. Many of them speak English but mostly Spanish and I don't mind, Hair cuts here are $12.00 plus tips,no appointment needed and they accepted credit cards. Over all not the best barber shop but it gets it done. The location is convenient and it is located In a area that is easy to find. read more

Platinum Barber - Barbers Near Me - Lake Mary, Florida

Much has improved since our last visit. We had a scheduled appt today at 4, and to my surprise my son was already in the chair by 359, ready to go. read more

DO NOT GET A CUT FROM THE WHITE BOY JOEY. I have no idea how this guy got his barber license, I went in and told him I want a medium fade with a lineup straight and simple and he ended up giving me like a high skin fade with a terrible lineup that he rushed and completely messed up. Then at the end of the haircut he took of his earbuds out, that I didn't even notice and asked if I liked the haircut. So when I thought I told him what haircut I wanted he probably just tried to read my lips or something. If you're at your JOB can you at least try to be a little professional, I can understand one earbud but both. Come on now guy. If your going to get a haircut here definitely go with the older gentleman who actually know what they're doing. read more

I've been going here for 5+ years now. Not once have they disappointed me. Prices are super reasonable compared to other barbers. Even more than price, they can do any hairstyle or any type of cut very clean and fresh. Also, they recently remodeled the whole place and it looks amazing. read more

Don't, just don't. When the guy who didn't understand english simply wanted to know what number he should use on the clipper, it should have been a clue. No mas shorter in this extremely loud environment meant shave it closer. When I was unhappy with the left side he cut the right side to a different length. Look, I am your basic Don Draper, simple businessman's cut. Evidently none of the barbers in Lake Mary can handle that. Any hair salons looking for customers, please reply. I need someone to fix my 15 dollar cut. A pair of scissors in the mirror did a better job on the "long" hair that clippers didn't know how to handle. I suppose it is nothing that two weeks of wearing hats will not fix. read more

Unless Tito is the one cutting your hair don't even bother. Fredrico is a completely incompetent barber. Doesn't listen.

Just like any barbershop, you have your favs and you have the ones you just don't know. For me, I wanna make a special shout out to my barber Eduardo! The man works every day pretty much and he is slow to anger when ever you fall asleep (haha). I also want to point out that he went out his way to make sure he was able to see me even when the lock down happen and made sure my family and I were safe. Another example of true customer service and a hint of the human element we as people love to experience when it comes to making sure we look our best and are treated the best. Way to go Eduardo! read more

Go see Jason! This man knows the drill. Best haircut I've ever gotten. He's extremely professional, listens to every request and uses top notch equipment. I highly recommend him and will not be going anywhere else from now on. read more

For an update...went in and got another really good haircut...from a different barber. it was so good in fact, I asked the barber if he could hit my face with the straight edge he had in his arsenal. For another $6, he did so, spending an appropriate amount of time on it. He put on some nice cream and smelly stuff that prevents razor burn. I felt *so* good afterwards I tipped him $10 because the last time I went there the guy shaved me with an electric and wound up burning me. I thought I had found a great service and a huge discount. I looked at myself in the mirror from my seat, things looked great and I left a really happy guy. I got to the car, looked in the mirror (up-close) and realized my neck looked like a horror show (half-shaved, not bloody)...and the rest of my face was similarly unspectacular. I didn't touch my face after being shaved because he spent lots of time on it. Since the moisturizer was still fresh and I *felt* like he did a good job there seemed to be no need for that. Short story, come to Platinum for your hair cut...handle the face yourself if you are a hairy beast like me :) read more

Where to start.. well I come here for one barber only and that is TITO. Now if he were to leave I wouldn't be back. Not that the place is bad it's just not really catering to your typical white guys hair. Nothing wrong with that is just I've had my hair cut when TITO wasn't around and for a 44yr old guy I don't need a 20yr old kids haircut. Also it's not the cleanest of barbershops as well. Also I don't speak spanish so I kind of just feel out of place since all the barbers speak english but they seem to talk among themselves in spanish. read more

Clean but they didn't listen to what I wanted. I told him an inch to an inch and a half off my son's hair so he'd still have his curls just less and out of his eyes. The guy started on the back of my boy's hair while I was facing the front so my son would look forward and stop squirming. By the time I saw the length it was too late. I told him all the pictures on the wall were too short but I guess he felt he knew better. Won't be back and I won't recommend this place to anyone. Good thing hair grows back so fast. Guess they don't like repeat business. read more

My 2 time here with my 5 year old son we love it. Our barber is mike he does a great job, takes his time. And makes sure my son is looking good. Thank you MIKE read more

I've been going to Platinum Barber for the last six months, and it's been excellent! However, recently I went in, and got an absolutely awful haircut. My hairline is uneven and extremely WIDE. Be careful, I don't want anyone else getting messed up like me. read more

I had my haircut here 6/19/20 and they did a nice cut. However i had my credit card information stolen from the barber. This was the only placed i used my card at since i pay with cash all the time. I had multiple charges in Winter Park. I would not recommend using your credit card here. I will not return. read more

Very comfortable atmosphere - two large plasma screens - and child friendly (no dirty jokes, no dirty magazines) - professional. Longest wait I ever had was 5 minutes, you can get in and get out. If there is an open barber you can go to that barber without waiting, unless you are waiting for a specific barber. The staff is good, mixture of nationalities for different type of hairstyles (hispanic, white, black). You know when you're done and you have hair all over you? Well this shop takes special measure to make sure every piece of hair is off of you. They use a blowdryer to get the hair off of your neck, then they take a brush and wipe any excess hair off your neck. Only thing that could be improved is add more seating in the waiting area - but other than that, one of the best barber shops around. read more

I was referred here by a coworker who said the haircuts are $15. Harold was my barber. He charged me $25 for a normal fade cut. That would have been okay if he did a good job. He cut my face and also gave me razor burn on both edges of my forehead. He also messed up the hairline of my fade cut. Its not evenly cut along the line. It looks sloppy and I will have to have it fixed. Im sure some of the guys that work here are good, but Harold is not. read more

so i wanted a hair cut, so i went to the best place in town. Platinum barbers! as i was getting my hair cut everything was fine. i go home and they fucked my life up. my edge was at an angle. i had a cut on my ear from when he used scissors. HORRIBLE SERVICE ! read more

I went here looking for a different barber that would understand what I needed more than my previous one. The environment was very comfortable and the prices were decent too. I asked for a high taper and it came out really fresh. I'm pretty tough writing reviews, but this place is definitely recommended! read more

I go to this barber shop if I am unable to go to my go to barber. They definitely know how to cut and you will look clean, but the only thing is they don't get the exact haircut you want until the next couple haircuts. It will be somewhat close to what you want but it takes a couple tries especially if you going to different people because there is so many different versions of the UV cut. But like I said you come out there looking clean. So if your new to the area definitely give it a try and when you find that barber that knows what you want stick with that person. read more

Well worth the visit. They take care of you if you don't even have a appointment. Walk ins are always welcome. Which that's a huge plus in my book. Very friendly and know how to keep a conversation alive and not boring. They will always have me as a client. read more

As soon as you come in this place they service you. And as soon as you go with a barber your out of there from 30-45 min. They are all about Doing a good job and satisfying the customer. I read some of these other comments and these people don't understand that there are barbers in here with different levels of experience. You can't talk shit just cause one dude messed up your edge or charged you a huge price you didn't think was fair. Tbh it's your fault if you don't notice something and you just walk out. Just talk with then and they'll fix it right up. Good , respectful guys and girls that get the job done right. read more

Franklin did very good, he asked what i wanted and did it in a timely manner. The only thing i didnt like was that he didnt have the mirror that i could hold to look at my whole head. But other than that i was very pleased with his performance. read more

Service at platinum barber is the worst in lake mary what this guys do is talk to each other and forgot about customers. It takes forever to have a hair cut all of them talk to much. They have to understand kids don't have patience they want to go and have a hair cut quit not to listen to all of the stupid and loud conversations they have. The owner of this business should do something about it or hire professional barbers. read more

The place is okay. Would be great if they played maybe top 40 songs instead of the spanish station very loud. Also, they are not consistent with there cost for hair cut. One barber may charge one price for mohawk the other another price. Good hours. read more
