But I am picky in the sense that it needs to look great and that it doesn't damage my hair. I read the reviews posted about Nicole and I saw the photos and I loved how everyone's hair came out. So I decided to give her a try. I can honestly say that I am thrilled I came here! Nicole is wonderful! She took the time to see what could be done to my hair without causing so much damage to it. My hair came out absolutely gorgeous! I don't remember the last time my hair has looked this good. I will definitely be returning to her for all my hair needs.

She wont apologize either, she replied saying she's working solo and that she tends to her clients and pretty much what you're left understanding is: "deal with it" I should have just asked groupon to refund my money then, but I didn't, and eventually she got back to me and I was able to make an appointment only to have her leave me a message the day before the appointment to cancel...... After all the trouble I went through to get that appointment, even though I had told her that the reason why I wanted to ensure the appointment was because I had a function to attend and wanted to get it done before then. I wrote back trying to be flexible and suggested another time; guess what? She didn't get back to me. Why should a paying client have to go through so much trouble to have a service rendered to them? She obviously doesn't need my business and to prevent anyone else from going through what I did, I heed you all this warning; you're better off just going to one of those walk in places, that's what I will end up having to do.

She's just one of those few people that you feel like you've known forever. I know about her life, as she knows about mine and countless other clients'. She genuinely cares for all of her clients, and will give the shirt off of her back if needed. Then there's her talent! Melanie is truly gifted when it comes to color and style. The colors she uses are client specific, meaning she mixes colors to make a unique match for what each client is expecting. The brand of color she uses is so vibrant and rich, I've never found anyone in Florida that uses colors that I can compare to hers. My hair is extremely thick and wavy, so it is very time consuming for a hair dresser to do a proper blow out. The first time I went to Melanie, I almost left in tears because I have NEVER had someone actually take the time to do a full blow out before. For the first time, I actually left the salon feeling beautiful and confident, not wanting to rush home before anyone saw me to style my own hair. I used to work near Melanie's salon so it was convenient for me to go to her. When I started working and living nearly 50 minutes away from Just Fabulous, I tried a local salon recommended by many people in my area. It wasn't at all what I was used to by that point. I had to get back to Melanie ASAP! I will continue to make my drive out to her without complaint, she is 110% worth it. During my last visit, I actually sat next to a woman that traveled hours routinely to get her hair done by Melanie because she moved a few counties down south. If that doesn't prove her worth, I'm not sure what will!

Giving Thanks on this weekend…read more... This review of Melanie comes with such gratitude and love. I received a last minute work assignment notice to Florida. My hair looked like it needed a haircut and a color (bad!). Melanie was kind enough to come in on her day off and on a moments notice! I knew I needed to color my hair but this kind and generous woman had already accommodated me by coming in on her day off. I was NOT going to ask for that additional labor. I was happy with the cut. But she she just couldn't let me go without having my color done. So what does she do? She canceled her appointment so that she could do my color! The atmosphere in the salon was very fun, we were laughing and joking throughout my entire time there. Very positive energy. I have short hair and the cut is very cute and the color has lasted. I have waited 30 days to make this review so that it would be honest and accurate. I will travel up to Lake Mary to have follow up cuts while I'm in this area working. I cannot thank Melanie enough for what she did for me. You won't go wrong getting a haircut here. And the price is a third of what I was paying in Austin, Texas and the Oakland County, Detroit, Michigan metro area. Highly highly recommend.
