Sorry to say, will not ever do business with this company. They held my money instead of paying the tile people so I had to call and get it released in order to get my product. The plateau gallery ordered the wrong material and way too much. I had to return the material and then was charged more money because the material we initially wanted was quite a bit more money. So they charged me for too much material and would not take any of it back. Very poor service. Does not have the integrity to be in business. Such a loss for Enumclaw. read more

Made appointment to measure, window was 2:00-2:30. At 3:00 I get a call saying "I'm on my way". I tell the salesman I had to leave at 3:00, the reason for the 2:00 appointment. I also say this is a bad start, he agrees and hangs up on me. I'm a little upset, but retain my cool and call the store asking for the manager, he WAS the manager !!! No need to give them my local business, and it looks like others agree. read more

The sales staff was very friendly and helpful. Left me with several samples to look at so I could see them in my space during the different "lights" of day and night. Installation was quick and professional, Jr and his crew were in and out in a jiffy. I am constantly receiving complements on my floors. read more

Had a lot of problems with the original install (pieces being installed even though they sliced into them when opening the box, damage to the trim they installed, etc). Large parts had to be completely redone and communication sucked but they worked it out so we smiled and went on our way. Fast forward almost a year and the floor is already disengaging. We called and they sent the manager and the company that sent the materials and I was told it would be fixed by Christmas. Here it is March. We got no communication until we started emailing regularly, were told that the floor didn't need to be fixed despite a gap so big my son's orthotics are catching in it...and every time I email them they seem to forget who we are and we have to start over. We've finally given up and will be seeking another company to fix the issue and filing with BBB. Don't waste your time on these guys. I thought we were supporting local business but they have no idea how to do their job. read more

Pass this one by! Owner was two and half hours late for a measuring appointment because he was talking politics. Carpet installer (yes one) was late to show up and then had to leave because he didn't have the right tools. Two hours into the job the installer asked if he could go home and come back the next day, we had to negotiate that he would go home and come back in two hours to finish. He returned with his middle school son as help. When it was all said and done the installer had damaged every newly painted door in the area where the carpet was installed and left foot and hand prints on many of the walls. The owner will not take any responsibility and had the audacity to say we should not have painted until after the new carpet was installed. We should have used Home Depot! read more

I really wanted to use local business and since Plateau Floors installed flooring 6 years ago in same home called to get a bid from them as well as others. Sad to say this is NOT the same place nor does it still stand by its pricing. This is a warning to any who wish bids from this store. I had an evaluation done on Sept 8 2018. I heard nothing back until I called them on 19 Sept. Seems they lost my estimate. Couple of days later i finally received email estimate of $4348.00. I accepted it after discussing why the company no longer used it's own installers and made arrangements for them to pickup check ( which they demanded FULL upfront payment for) I wrote a check, yet when the person arrived she stated it was $4559.97 not the original estimate of $4348.00 a difference of $211.97. She sent an email stating why the difference. Seems the installers NOT being part of company thought they could demand more than what Plateau gave as an estimate and also added that the price of materials had gone up. (Maybe if they had better help in Office my estimate might not have gotten 'lost' and thus material cost wouldnt have jumped.) The office people blamed computers yet we all know computers only give what they are inputted with. Office didnt even have my phone number or address in system, found that very unprofessional as well. Since Plateau refused to honor original estimate I cancelled due to typical bait and switch. I have never received any apology from this company or redress to honor their original bid. Now this is only hearsay, but a friend had Plateau do her flooring which was a fiasco. Allegedly the owner told her that he didnt have time to fix her complaints as Plateau was too busy doing multi-million dollar homes out in Eastside and that the 2nd store in Kent was not really a sister store but more of premier location as us in Enumclaw just want good work for fair price and cant be overpriced like Eastsiders. Shame as I did want to use local, but since they are NOT BBB affiliated I can see why they wouldnt be. read more

Very disappointed in level of customer service and professionalism. I was charged a prep fee and was told by the owner it would be refunded if I did the prep work. I did indeed do all the prep work yet the company refuses to refund the fee per their statement. I will never do business with them again as they are not honest nor will I recommend them to anyone read more

We are so happy that we found Plateau!!!! After visiting several flooring stores and talking with many "professionals" in hardwood flooring, we decided to go into Plateau Floors. After about 40 mins with Mike we knew that this was the company that we were going to do business with. Mike came out for a free estimate and emailed us a quote. His quote was about $1200.00 @ $23,200 more than some of the other estimates, but he did tell us he likes to "under promise and over achieve", and he did!!! Two of the other companies said that they would complete our job in 2 days and Mike told us 5. They got it done in 3-1/2 day :) and after him and his subcontractors were done our job also came in $1243.00 under budget and it was so much nicer than we even expected!!! :)))) Thank you Mike and Plateau Interiors. read more
