Our kitchen was in need of a face lift after we built our home in 1998. The kitchen cabinet doors…read morewere warped and the hinges, knobs and handles were badly worn. But the cabinets themselves were in perfect condition since we upgraded them to birch instead of oak during construction. I had been researching getting just new doors and after many quotes it seemed impossible. Many of the companies that quoted us told us that we needed a full remodel which would be in the $50k range. Finally I found Custom Wood Cabinet Refacing and connected with Ray Liston. He asked me for pictures and after setting an appointment he came out with some door samples. The doors were exceptionally well made. We chose the honey maple with glazing to get a 2 dimensional effect with the existing birch cabinets. I ordered the cabinets in April and installation day was June 16th. Prior to that Ray came back with a sample door to make sure I was happy. Then I had the task of finding new knobs and handles which I decided to play up the stainless trim on my appliances and my stove. On installation day some drawer fronts were missing but Jack quickly acted on this and completed the job...less than one week later. To say that we are happy is an understatement. It has given our kitchen the facelift it needed and with the lighting and granite countertops we installed this year you can now see the beauty of the kitchen!! Run to this company and save yourself money!!! If you have imagination and want to give your kitchen a facelift at a fraction of what a new kitchen costs you have found the right company. Dedicated perfectionists who will do what you ask within your budget. Now that's real service to the customer!! Thank you Ray and Jack for your help in bringing back the excitement of why we built the house 21 years ago. Now to the bathrooms!!!! Blessings to Ray, Jack and the team. The Peetes Bolingbrook, IL

From the moment I walked into this place through the first and the second installment, I was so flippin pleased that I can hardly contain myself. Let me first start out by saying, my husband and I initially went to a place called Momax in Merrillville with awful response service. We had to call numerous times, despite visiting them a second time since no email or calls were being replied to even after they said they would reach out. We finally gave up and searched for another local countertop company. [we have connects in Illinois, but wanted to keep it local] So glad we did and found Prestige!!! The second I walked in to Prestige Custom Stone, The front door staff were very friendly and helpful ...even their beautiful lab was friendly!! Debbie came out to the showroom & approached me asking what I was looking to do, once I explained what I was trying to acquire, she asked if I'd give her a lil time to do a search and she'd be back. Within about 15 minutes she came out with an elaborate hand written list of the quartz products that she felt would match my requests. She literally took the time to hand write these items!!! In addition, she gave me a list of vendors which carried the product & where I could visit to touch, see and choose the exact quartz. Soon as we walked out the door we were approached by a gentleman asking if we found everything we were looking for; I actually did have another question. He then directed me to another guy [the owner] who graciously answered my question & some, even with us interrupting his lunch. Thankfully it was noted the one item I had a sample of would not work in the area I was looking to have done. Hubs and I took a ride out to the vendors, found the PERFECT quartz and the deal was made. The fella who was measuring everything couldn't have been nicer and more precise in all his accuracy and suggestions. Super nice guy! The guys fabricating did an AMAAAAAAZING job on the counter matching all the veins perfectly with our requested mitered edges. Just awesome!! The crew installing the counters were exceptionally fun, nice, professional, clean, placing tarps everywhere and vacuuming and wiping every imaginable area that may have been affected. They did everything right even asking 'hows this, you good with this?" We then thought to ask if they were able to take our old counter pieces and fabricate the [2 pieces] accordingly to fit our newer laundry room cabinet tops. For a small fee, they 'Made The Old Counters Work' for this space!! We were so excited!! What would have otherwise been tossed out was wonderfully repurposed by these amazing people! I can't say enough about Prestige and will DEFINITELY be recommending them to EVERYBODY & ANYBODY who needs stone surface materials. Thank you Prestige...You ROCK!!!
