From classic arcade favorites to newer games, there's something for everyone, making it the perfect spot for families, date nights, birthdays, or just a fun day out. They offer open play, private parties, and an awesome variety of games that kept us entertained the entire visit. A huge thank you to the amazing owners for treating us to delicious pizza while we played--it made the experience even more special! Their hospitality was just as memorable as the games. If you're looking for a fun place to laugh, compete, make memories, and escape reality for a little while, iPlay Arcades is definitely worth the visit!

I've taken a special needs young adult client there twice now. At $20 for a minimum card load, the value is... eh considering the selection of games. I've been only on Wednesdays, so we're literally the only customers there. I'm really not interested in going on the weekends because I wouldn't care for crowds of youngsters in a tiny place like that. Basically, it seems to me that the purpose of iPlay is to elevate dominoes pizza next door into a Chuck E. Cheese. The female attendant there kind of hawk eyed my client and I, and it felt a bit uncomfortable. With the dinky selection of games in the limited space, iPlay as a hole is a bit underwhelming. But for all your parents doing birthday parties or just wanting to kill some time, it serves its purpose.

Everything is set to free play with a paid admission fee. You can do hourly pay or a set price for all day play. There's probably about 60 different arcade style games ranging in many decades including 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s favorites. Pinball, Mario Kart, Mortal Kombat, Marvel Vs Capcom (my jam), Super Smash Bros, Basketball Pro, Pac Man, NFL Blitz, Rampage (arcade game of my youth), Donkey Kong, Tron, The Simpsons and so many others. Soft drinks, great lighting, a spacious layout. Neon Retro offers cool holiday deals and specials, hosts fun events, IG giveaways and keeps the fun going all year long. It's still only $15 for unlimited hourly play or $25 for a day pass. No food is served here other than snacks (think chips and candy), but so many places closeby to eat before or after your Neon Retro Arcade fun!! It's not a barcade like EightyTwo or Player One so it's alcohol free. They're all welcoming and very personable. I do know they have a capacity limit and weekend tend to be the busiest until around 4 or 5 pm. Nights and weekends are definitely lower in foot traffic, but still great energy. I don't make it over too often, but highly recommend experiencing once or thrice. They just had a cool 50% off hourly prices for Bonus Level Loyalty Club members, and yes it's free to be a member :) Local street (meter), paid lot and garage parking available. Gender-neutral restrooms. Great for groups or just you.

Huge pros and cons…read more Games here are pricey. We're talking about 80 tokens for 20 bucks, where each game is about 8 to 13 tokens, where all the popular ones are on the higher end. They offer a time-play card for cheap, about 10 dollars for 60 minutes, but you can only play about 18 games, and usually the less popular ones. So yes, pricey, but they offer food for cheaper than most places, even than the mall itself. You can get your kid ice cream here for 1 dollar, yes, 1 freaking dollar! That's what sold me. Food is also cheap; we got a large pepperoni pizza, fries, and an unlimited refill drink for 10 bucks. They got alcoholic drinks at a decent price too. And they currently have a collab with anime shows so you can get special drinks and cups, like from the One Piece collectors edition that keeps selling out quick. You can also get specialty food. They also offer bowling and pool so you can spend a whole day here. My son and I spent 2 hours here, and we had a blast. Expensive, yes, but fun nonetheless.

If you love pinball, they have cool machines here. I saw pulp fiction, jurassic park, and evil dead machines, for example. Their comic book shop isn't the largest one in LA; however, they are well stocked here. Check their website to see their inventory of unique items. If you keep an eye on their calendar they will have interesting events here. My wife has seen comic book signings here. Last week they had Jeff Hays, famous for the "Dungeon Crawler Carl" audio books, who was on site to do a reading of "Absolute Batman #1" for Batman Day. On top of this, they have some nicely curated gems. My wife was able to get a curated stack of "Vampire Hunter" comics that was from the Buffy universe. Next door, they have a coffee shop with ample seating/table space. Saw a group of people playing D&D there. The summation of all these things is what makes this spot in Eagle Rock special. We didn't even mind contending with the terrible parking in the area. Because I live in Long Beach, I'll probably order things from here on their website; however, I'm glad that we came.

The failure to address indoor vaping by minors creates an unwelcoming and unsafe atmosphere for families. This one is a smaller version of that, but I think it is the same owners, from what I understand. It is great to see a smaller version of my childhood still exists within Burbank Mall. This one is much smaller but a lot cheaper and a lot of fun. You get some classic games as well as some newer ones, and you can earn points so that you can get some good decent prices for a fraction of what you get them for downstairs. I brought my son a few weeks back, and we had an hour of fun here. Loaded up the card with about 60 dollars worth of points, and we had some fun son and dad time. We stumbled upon this fun arcade at the very end of the 3rd floor, and decided to check it out. They have so many different fun games to play, whether you like shooting hoops, driving race cars, claw machines, or air hockey (our favorite). There are self-serve machines where you can purchase and load a game card, as all the games require this card to play. If you already have a card, you can simply reload it with money every time you come back. The games we played ranged from $1-$2 each and we loaded the card with about $25, so we spent a bit of time there. We mostly played Air Hockey and you get a significant amount of time to play per round! Of course, I let my son win most of the time :) The place was very clean and welcoming. Hunter was the attendant on duty while we were there. He was very helpful and pleasant to talk to, then eventually helped me pick out my Hello Kitty sticker/activity packs when we were done playing. It was such an unexpected visit here to the All Amusement Fun Center and I'm so glad we came! Will gladly return for more fun and prizes!
