Went in there this morning and had a very bad experience with the morning manager named Molly. I asked her for some help and was met with the most attitude from her. My drink was wrong and sub par at best. The menu said $9 for the drink but was some how charged $12. Something is fishy there. Upper management need to look into that. read more

Not only will they get your order wrong and charge you for the mistake, but they'll make sure they finish up your visit with a sarcastic remark on your way out. I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one after my visit to "Planet Smoothie." This was my first time visiting "Planet Smoothie." I frequent competing smoothie shops but I was having a rough day and decided to switch it up. My life forever changed the second I walked in that smoothie shop door. I had just got off a grueling day at work, famished from skipping breakfast and lunch because I had an ungodly amount of work to do. I knew I needed to consume something healthy, and fast. I drove to the closest smoothie shop and pulled my truck into the closest spot. I poured out of my truck and struggled to make my way to the door of "Planet Smoothie." I pried the door open with the last bit of strength I had left and what I saw changed my life forever. Rows of ripe fruits and fresh vegetables, prepped and ready to be thrown into a blender. I looked up to see two employees with concern in their eyes. I sputtered, "Strawberry. Banana. Smoothie." Without hesitation the female employee, "Kaytlin," effortlessly threw all the correct ingredients into a blender and started it up. The male employee, "Vincent", distracted my hunger with pleasant conversation. He was both professional and relatable, which was a refreshing change from the average smoothie shop employee. Before I knew it, my smoothie was ready. I stuck the straw in and took the first sip. I am a 22 year old man. I cried. I can't tell you the last time I cried, but I cried then and there, in that smoothie shop. At the time, with the tears running down my face, I couldn't understand, why was I crying over a smoothie? Vincent handed me some napkins without saying a word. I wiped away my tears as I walked out of the store, still perplexed about my reaction to the drink. When I was finally alone in my truck it came to me. I cried because I realized that this simple strawberry banana smoothie was the only good thing that had happened to me that day. This smoothie was more than a smoothie. This smoothie gave me hope for better days to come. It showed me that no matter how hard things get, there is good in this world, which can be easy for people to forget. This is a very good Planet Smoothie. The location is always very clean and the smoothies are extremely consistent. That's what you look for in a place like this. If you've never been, the menus on the wall are very easy to understand. The smoothies all have funky names like "two-piece bikini" and "twig & berries" but the easiest thing is to note that they really don't have that many different smoothies. It just SEEMS daunting. Most of the variations are in the blasts (the vitamin pack: fat burner, protein, energy, fiber, immunity, etc.) they add. Sometimes they just knock an ingredient out and it has a new name, as well. If you're confused... just tell them what types of stuff you like and they'll point you in the right direction. read more

I'll give them that they have "the best tasting smoothies on the planet" but they also have the worst service on the planet as well. I was just in this location about 20 minutes ago. I ordered a Frozen Goat, paid, and waited for my smoothie. The smoothie is usually done by the time you get to the cash register to pay. The cashier asked me if I had ordered something called Java, to which I responded "no, I ordered a Frozen Goat." She looked around for another smoothie, but no Frozen Goat. I stood to the side and waited for my smoothie. The gentleman who took my order in the first place came over and picked up the Java smoothie again and said, "here this is yours." I said, "no, I ordered a Frozen Goat" to which he responded, "yeah, but I accidentally wrote Java on the cup, this is a Frozen Goat." I hesitantly picked up the smoothie, and I said, "could you possibly remake this? I just want to make sure I'm getting what I ordered. I have a peanut allergy." He again responded, "This is a Frozen Goat, but okay," and took the smoothie out of my hand and threw it in the trash. He instructed a female co-worker to remake my Frozen Goat. The gentleman and the girl who he told to remake the smoothie acted like they couldn't be bothered with my request. The girl kept asking, "Is this hers? Is this hers?" and then RUDELY handed it to me with a "here you go." Was the first smoothie probably a Frozen Goat? Yeah. I love it here. I've had about 40 check ins for their point system but I barely get any benefits from here. I get a free smoothie every 14 visits which isn't much for someone who comes here 3 times a week. The staff is friendly and the smoothies are delicious. My family loves Planet Smoothie. When the kids are older and paying for their own smoothies, I suspect they won't love it so much. The prices kill me. I own a Vitamix and I could make this at home for a fraction of the price. But alas, convenience wins. I at least always keep coupons in my car in case we stop by. That helps. The big favorite with my family is the Chocolate Elvis: chocolate, peanut butter, and bananas. The PB&J smoothie is also really good for the kids. I've never had a trouble with service. Usually there are only one or two people in the shop at a time so it's easy. Calorie intake is a bit high... especially if you pair your smoothie with the breakfast souffle from the Panera next door. Planet Smoothie is pretty yum. I made frequent stops by this location during the summer when it is just too dang hot in Florida to eat a big meal. Their smoothies make a wonderful, soothing and refreshing lunch. I am a huge fan of the Billy Bob Banana and my husband is obsessed with the Chocolate Elvis. I also like the Thelma & Louise - which is a "women's smoothie" (basically just means it includes a "women's only blast" of vitamins). The only thing I caution about these smoothies is their fat content. These might not be the best option if you are counting calories. Now, they are definitely a better choice that hitting up your local Mickey D's... but still, some of them have over 500 calories. Check their nutritional info, which is posted in their store. You can also try one of their low-carb smoothies if you're looking for a healthier option. The one thing about Planet Smoothie that can be a turn-off is that the quality of your smoothie kinda depends on who is working that day. Everyone seems to add a slightly different amount of the ingredients that go into each smoothie - so it literally tastes different every time. read more
