Solid smoothies and really friendly workers! I feel like I always get a little paralyzed looking at their huge menu, but it's also nice to have so many options. read more

I loved the smoothie the first time I came I'll say. Went back the second time and was severely disappointed. Where about probably in a half hour before close and was met with a worker with a lot of attitude(younger gentleman) how to mention the place like absolute throw up. Couldn't bare the smell it was horrible. read more

When they made right 10/10 but if you think about ordering anything an hour or two (even 3 sometimes) before they close that includes peanut butter don't even think about it lol. Multiple occasions I have not had peanut butter added in my smoothie which is apart of it not an add on and it's very easy to tell. Very unfortunate as someone who comes here several times a month. Clean place though I will say. read more

Planet Smoothie - 2 Piece Bikini Smoothie - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Orlando, Florida

This is my go-to smoothie spot in the area. Friendly staff, fresh fruit, and the menu is always evolving to have new options while keeping the same wonderful staples I've been having for the past 2 decades). They now have acai/dragonfruit bowls (can do half/half), which at $13 is a bargain since it comes in a huge container. My favorite part is while they have add-ins, not every smoothie is a protein mix and actually tastes like the fruit/juices they use. read more

I usually don't leave reviews, but my experience at Planet Smoothie was really disappointing. I ordered a smoothie, and it honestly tasted like nothing--no flavor, no sweetness, just watery and bland. I expected a burst of flavor for the price, but I got absolutely nothing. On top of that, the staff wasn't exactly friendly. They were short and seemed bothered when I asked questions about the menu. Definitely won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for a good smoothie. It was a clean place though. read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017: 33/100: This location is always clean, offers friendly and fast service and it's at a great convenient location. Within Waterford Lakes! Now, onto the smoothies...I am a person who enjoys smoothies... I am a bit picky on the mixtures, but when I find one that I enjoy, I'll be faithful to it. Like Planet Smoothie's Captain Cherry smoothie. Additionally, they have a great variety of flavors, supplements to add-in and even the option of creating your own (or modifying a specific smoothie). Looking for a refreshing drink or meal substitute? Maybe a fruit salad bowl to enjoy? Planet Smoothie has you covered. Finally, contrary to other smoothie places (which shall not be mentioned), they have a good selection of sizes and fair prices for each size. Can't beat that! read more

Weird smell in the store. Like they only rinse and sanitize and don't use soap with their equipment. Smoothie tasted ok. No interaction with the employee other than receiving my drink so skipped the tip. read more

Went in there this morning and had a very bad experience with the morning manager named Molly. I asked her for some help and was met with the most attitude from her. My drink was wrong and sub par at best. The menu said $9 for the drink but was some how charged $12. Something is fishy there. Upper management need to look into that. read more

Pros: This place has great smoothies made fast fresh. They have a wide verity of menu items that can be customized to taste. Cons: The price point it a bit high. Good service and drinks. Nice employees and easy menu. They make the drink fast, way more healthy than statbucks

Wow, just left this store. The attitude is absolutely outrageous, from the manager to the cashier, attitude from start to finish. Not only will they get your order wrong and charge you for the mistake, but they'll make sure they finish up your visit with a sarcastic remark on your way out. The manager Mariana was absolutely AWFUL, the MOST unhelpful, but she sure knows how to be super helpful and friendly to the Caucasian customers that came after me though. Work on your attitude Mariana because your team is taking after you. If I could give this store zero stars I absolutely would but the star is to the ONE super friendly employee, she was welcoming and GENUINELY nice. I live in Waterford but I'll take the trip to another Planet Smoothie. read more

I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to write one after my visit to "Planet Smoothie." This was my first time visiting "Planet Smoothie." I frequent competing smoothie shops but I was having a rough day and decided to switch it up. My life forever changed the second I walked in that smoothie shop door. I had just got off a grueling day at work, famished from skipping breakfast and lunch because I had an ungodly amount of work to do. I knew I needed to consume something healthy, and fast. I drove to the closest smoothie shop and pulled my truck into the closest spot. I poured out of my truck and struggled to make my way to the door of "Planet Smoothie." I pried the door open with the last bit of strength I had left and what I saw changed my life forever. Rows of ripe fruits and fresh vegetables, prepped and ready to be thrown into a blender. I looked up to see two employees with concern in their eyes. I sputtered, "Strawberry. Banana. Smoothie." Without hesitation the female employee, "Kaytlin," effortlessly threw all the correct ingredients into a blender and started it up. The male employee, "Vincent", distracted my hunger with pleasant conversation. He was both professional and relatable, which was a refreshing change from the average smoothie shop employee. Before I knew it, my smoothie was ready. I stuck the straw in and took the first sip. I am a 22 year old man. I cried. I can't tell you the last time I cried, but I cried then and there, in that smoothie shop. At the time, with the tears running down my face, I couldn't understand, why was I crying over a smoothie? Vincent handed me some napkins without saying a word. I wiped away my tears as I walked out of the store, still perplexed about my reaction to the drink. When I was finally alone in my truck it came to me. I cried because I realized that this simple strawberry banana smoothie was the only good thing that had happened to me that day. This smoothie was more than a smoothie. This smoothie gave me hope for better days to come. It showed me that no matter how hard things get, there is good in this world, which can be easy for people to forget. They say its the simple things in life that make it great, and I am here to tell you that a strawberry banana smoothie from "Planet Smoothie" is one of them. read more

I have never written a review for any establishment before but the employees at this location are amazing. I've had positive experiences with all of them but the girls that stood out to me today was Mariana and Sydney. They made great suggestions for exactly what I needed, and even allowed me to try it once it was done so I could see if it was to my liking. They went above and beyond and I was so happy! This is a very good Planet Smoothie. The location is always very clean and the smoothies are extremely consistent. That's what you look for in a place like this. If you've never been, the menus on the wall are very easy to understand. The smoothies all have funky names like "two-piece bikini" and "twig & berries" but the easiest thing is to note that they really don't have that many different smoothies. It just SEEMS daunting. Most of the variations are in the blasts (the vitamin pack: fat burner, protein, energy, fiber, immunity, etc.) they add. Sometimes they just knock an ingredient out and it has a new name, as well. If you're confused... just tell them what types of stuff you like and they'll point you in the right direction. read more

Huge HUGE thumbs down. The staff wasnt happy to be there, chit chattying with friends that were in the store not ordering. Thats usually not a huge point of contention for me, the food is what im interested in, so thats what has invigorated me to write my first review in years. When you order a acai bowl with strawberries and raspberries, that doesnt mean top it with strawberry jam and forget the raspberries. order initially came out wrong as i asked for those items undblended. also- the wheatgrass shot was half water because they were too lazy to actually juice anything. Wont go back ever read more

Planet Smoothie - Is that an acai bowl with raspberries and strawberries? No its blended strawberry jam and who knows what else.fed 1/2 to my dog - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Orlando, Florida

My boyfriend and I entered the store as four girls behind the counter were all talking amongst each their or doing their own thing. We didn't get greeted. We were not told to wait to be served. And we were not acknowledged. My boyfriend and I stood and waited to order as they continued to talk amongst themselves. We probably waited about 5 min wondering what they were talking about or why it was taking so long since the only other gentleman in the store had received his order. A girl behind the counter finally said, are you ready to order? My boyfriend responded, yeah we've been ready. And she hastily replied, you just got here. And told another girl to take our order... as we could tell she did not want to. She just looked at me. Didn't ask me what I wanted to order and rudely stared. I said okay, can I please get a small Amazon Kick? And she continued to make the smoothie, without a response. Customer service is really important to me. If I was informed to patiently wait or was at least acknowledged I wouldn't have an issue. Very rude staff but the smoothie was delicious. read more

I know that there's a lot of smoothie places out there, but this one is my favorite because of the PB&J smoothie, perfect balance of both flavors and it honestly does taste just like the sandwich! I feel that Smoothie king and Jamba Juice are too mainstream, planet smoothie also has a reward system, which is a plus. (I don't know if the other places do, but the rewards are reasonable!) read more

I've come plenty of times before after working out and tonight was the worst experience ever due to the rude attitude of the manager Mariana. She had an angry smug attitude because my friend was asking questions about the menu. If you hate your job that much just quit no customer deserves to be treated that way over simple questions. The store is 469 in Waterford lakes. The young lady who made my smoothie was actually nice but Mariana is the worst manager I've ever come across. I'd rather drive to another store instead of coming to that location again read more

Yelp 100 Challenge 2017: 14/100: I love Planet Smoothie. Michelle will argue with me that there are better smoothie places... But My smoothie filled stomach prefers Planet Smoothie. I heart Planet Smoothie; and I will explain why. Two simple, yet beautiful words... Passion Fruit. P-A-S-S-I-O-N F-R-U-I-T! Yes, passion fruit smoothies... one of the few smoothie chains that ALWAYS, not seasonal, but always has some sort of passion fruit flavored potion of life. Also, Planet Smoothie offers a variety of sizes... So I can buy my MEGA passion fruit smoothie and Michelle feel happy she can settle for a 16oz one. (Without mentioning names, other smoothie places only have one size available). So I ask, you love smoothies? Then you should love Planet Smoothie. Thank you... read more

I'll give them that they have "the best tasting smoothies on the planet" but they also have the worst service on the planet as well. I was just in this location about 20 minutes ago. I ordered a Frozen Goat, paid, and waited for my smoothie. The smoothie is usually done by the time you get to the cash register to pay. The cashier asked me if I had ordered something called Java, to which I responded "no, I ordered a Frozen Goat." She looked around for another smoothie, but no Frozen Goat. I stood to the side and waited for my smoothie. The gentleman who took my order in the first place came over and picked up the Java smoothie again and said, "here this is yours." I said, "no, I ordered a Frozen Goat" to which he responded, "yeah, but I accidentally wrote Java on the cup, this is a Frozen Goat." I hesitantly picked up the smoothie, and I said, "could you possibly remake this? I just want to make sure I'm getting what I ordered. I have a peanut allergy." He again responded, "This is a Frozen Goat, but okay," and took the smoothie out of my hand and threw it in the trash. He instructed a female co-worker to remake my Frozen Goat. The gentleman and the girl who he told to remake the smoothie acted like they couldn't be bothered with my request. The girl kept asking, "Is this hers? Is this hers?" and then RUDELY handed it to me with a "here you go." Was the first smoothie probably a Frozen Goat? Yeah. Am I going to risk an allergic reaction because someone insists that I take the smoothie they incorrectly labeled? NO. Sorry, Planet Smoothie. You just lost a customer. I'll stick to Smoothie King from now on. read more

I'm a BIG Choco Chimp with Peanut Butter fan, until this morning. This one is BAD, I did not taste any flavor, just a 44oz of water ice.

I love it here. I've had about 40 check ins for their point system but I barely get any benefits from here. I get a free smoothie every 14 visits which isn't much for someone who comes here 3 times a week. The staff is friendly and the smoothies are delicious. I couldn't complain at all because I'm a regular customer. I love the options and your able to substitute an add on for something else. Can't go wrong. My family loves Planet Smoothie. When the kids are older and paying for their own smoothies, I suspect they won't love it so much. The prices kill me. I own a Vitamix and I could make this at home for a fraction of the price. But alas, convenience wins. I at least always keep coupons in my car in case we stop by. That helps. The big favorite with my family is the Chocolate Elvis: chocolate, peanut butter, and bananas. The PB&J smoothie is also really good for the kids. I've never had a trouble with service. Usually there are only one or two people in the shop at a time so it's easy. Calorie intake is a bit high... especially if you pair your smoothie with the breakfast souffle from the Panera next door. So good, but so bad... =) read more

This was my favorite smoothie place. They're supposed to close at 10 but at 9:30 girls had lights off and all ready to go home. I love their smoothies and you can substitute whatever... For example I'm allergic to strawberries so they always let me replace them with raspberries. However the screamsicle holds my heart. Tastes like a 50-50 bar! My husband loves the road runner. read more

Planet Smoothie is pretty yum. I made frequent stops by this location during the summer when it is just too dang hot in Florida to eat a big meal. Their smoothies make a wonderful, soothing and refreshing lunch. I am a huge fan of the Billy Bob Banana and my husband is obsessed with the Chocolate Elvis. I also like the Thelma & Louise - which is a "women's smoothie" (basically just means it includes a "women's only blast" of vitamins). The only thing I caution about these smoothies is their fat content. These might not be the best option if you are counting calories. Now, they are definitely a better choice that hitting up your local Mickey D's... but still, some of them have over 500 calories. Check their nutritional info, which is posted in their store. You can also try one of their low-carb smoothies if you're looking for a healthier option. The one thing about Planet Smoothie that can be a turn-off is that the quality of your smoothie kinda depends on who is working that day. Everyone seems to add a slightly different amount of the ingredients that go into each smoothie - so it literally tastes different every time. read more
