Raining Berries is a relatively new, and fun spot there in Waterford Lakes, located very close to the Nike outlet. We actually 1st visited there during their soft opening, and met the owners. They were so friendly, it was honestly a large part of the reason we find ourselves going back there... always nice to support businesses knowing that you're helping out good people... Raining Berries is one of those businesses. The food: so I can only speak on behalf of the Acai bowls there... we haven't tried the other items on their menu. But, the Acai bowls are pretty densely packed with ingredients, and very flavorful. There are some Instagram-worthy photo op walls on the inside, so the kiddos should be pretty happy in here also! read more

Everything I have ever gotten here has been so good. I really enjoy their bowls and their coffee. My kids like their smoothies. Hint: If they are having a deal for that day (free coffee, 50% off, etc), you need to mention the deal to them at checkout. If go don't, they will not automatically give you the deal that they're offering. I love the look and feel of this establishment. This would be a good place for a girls hang out. read more

I think the aesthetic of Raining Berries is cute, but definitely basic in that it has every IG worth feature (flower wall, neon light with catchy phrase.... Phone booth). Staff were super nice and friendly when ordering. My drink was the best part, I ordered a small iced Ube latte with an extra espresso, so good! Had a bold coffee flavor but the ube wasn't too sweet and the texture was fluffy. Yummy drink, but price point is a bit steep. Unfortunately, I ordered the plant-based breakfast sandwich. It was so bad. Like every plant based substitution was a no-go. The seitan "sausage" patty was extremely thick and over cooked and honestly it tasted like rubber sausage . The sandwich was so dry, the chickpea "eggs" did not help either. I couldn't imagine anyone ordering this again in my honest opinion. Really wish I went with the avocado toast! read more

Stopped by Raining Berries for the first time for a Yelp Elite Event and had a great experience. I ordered the Eggocado Toast and a cappuccino -- both were solid. The Eggocado Toast was fresh and filling. The avocado was super creamy, and the hard-boiled eggs on top added a nice bit of protein. I liked the little kick from the sriracha drizzle and the crunch from the everything seasoning. You could tell the ingredients were high quality, and it all came together really well. The cappuccino was smooth and had a nice, strong flavor without being bitter. Definitely better than what you'd get at a big chain. Plus, the foam was just right! Not too dry, not too wet. The place itself is really aesthetically pleasing -- lots of light, plants, and a clean, modern vibe. It's the kind of spot you could hang out with a friend or post up with a laptop for a couple hours. Overall, great spot. I got a bowl of Raining berries with acai for the base. Strawberries, blueberries and banana are fresh. Acai taste great and the bowl itself beautifully created. The bowl can make you full and it's a good portion as well. The lady help me she's really nice and made suggestions. She's polite and great customer service. Let me start off by saying this place is cute! They did such a great job with the decorations. Everything they have looks delicious and I was so excited to try this place today. However, I feel a little bit deceived with the prices. The menu that is up on the wall (see photo) said the smoothie I got was $7.99. When I went to order, it came up to about $11 something ($10.99 + tax). I looked at the menu thinking it was my mistake but the price is $7.99. I told the lady at the register and she seemed to be a bit confused as well, and finally said that it looked like there was a price increase, and if I wanted to pick something else. I went ahead with the smoothie, but I honestly do not like surprises like this. Also this place is right by UCF. I used to be a student there once and pretty much lived paycheck to paycheck. I'm sure the students would like to know the prices they are paying beforehand. Now for the smoothie - I got the Berry Nutty Smoothie, which consists of Strawberries, Bananas, Peanut Butter, Agave, Almond Milk. To me it just tasted like a strawberry smoothie with peanut butter. It really wasn't anything special, and yes I would have paid the $7.99 for this, but not the $10.99... Aside from that the staff was nice, place is clean and great spot for photos. Cool and refreshing dessert that will blow your mind with the different flavors they have. They have a few varieties of flavors and flavors not everyone has. Like pistachio and passionfruit! Yummy! Those are a few my favorites. That girls that work here are nice and they greet you with a smile when you walk to the counter to decide on what special treat hou would like. My family & I were doing some shopping in Waterford Lakes Town Center this past weekend when we stumbled upon Raining Berries. It appears to be fairly new to the area. After doing a lot of walking outside, we were really craving something cool & refreshing. The inside is bright & clean with some cute photo-ops like a floral wall and neon signs. I decided to try to the Passion Berry smoothie (strawberries, banana, pineapple, passion fruit syrup, and apple juice). I love anything passion fruit flavored so that really sold me. My order took a while considering there was no one else in there at that time. The smoothie was fine, but it really just tasted like a basic strawberry smoothie and I didn't pick up on any of the other flavors. The staff was friendly and welcoming and also offered samples of their gelato. I declined, but maybe next time. They also have açaí bowls, toasts, sandwiches, and coffee. The customer service was great. The girl who took my order was friendly and knowledgeable. I got the Cali bagel and it was perfectly toasted with fresh ingredients. It had a tad too much siracha and lacked flavor. I got the Ube matcha as a drink. The matcha tasted great and had great color to it, but there was a small dollop of Ube on top and that's it. Tried this place with some friends near opening time. The interior is sleek, bright and spotless, which is to be expected of a newly opened establishment. It has cute, feminine touches which offer nice photo ops. I ordered the Honey Lavender Latte, which is offered hot or cold. I requested hot, which wasn't delivered hot enough. It was more lukewarm, yet still tasted nice. Just needed to be hotter. Took a while to get our orders, as well. I wasn't in a hurry though, so not really an issue. I also had the Eggocado Toast. The price of $13.99 might seem a bit steep, but the quantity and quality are worth it. It has a nice kick, thanks to the sriracha, and it is generously loaded. Definitely filling. The food is acai, smoothies and some food items on their menu. I ordered an acai bowl with matcha base which was good. It tasted more like matcha icecream with fruits on it but it was 8/10. I also got the passion berry smoothie which was very good! I was the only one who had ordered at the time and they forgot my smoothie completely but she apologized and was nice about it. This was the Soft opening with lots of seating and great spot for aesthetic photos. They had a wheel to spin but I wasn't told about it although that why I went. How scrumptious! This morning I got to enjoy, as a Yelp Elite, the delightful Raining Berries in Waterford Lakes. This is, I believe, the only location that also sells gelato, but today I had the divine Avocado Toast with a Honey Lavender Latte. Perfection! This was, mind you, only the second time I've ever had Avocado Toast (the first being in CA) and I was pleasantly surprised how something so simple could taste so good. That Multigrain Bread was delicious and I don't normally go for the extra zip of pepper flakes but I WOLFED that toast down like someone had just introduced me to food. I will absolutely return for the Eggocado Toast which features hard-boiled eggs and sriracha sauce. My Latte was yummy and that's all that needs to be said about that - I am an absolute sucker for the Honey Lavender combo. This location was spotless, the staff were very friendly, and this entire place screams "Insta friendly." I noticed they also have tons of seating and outlets available and they provide you with the wifi password - they want you to be comfortable here, eating and surfing. I gave them a little leniency since they were busy and it was grand opening weekend (I think they've only had a week of soft opening) but here is my truthful experience. Additionally, I paid 50% off regular prices for everything for opening weekend so it makes me feel better about errors. The food- 7/10. The food was all tasty! There's plenty of variety to appease anyone in your party. However, while it tasted good, there was something a little bit off with everything we ordered. Starting with the drinks, the flavors need to be stronger. The Dragon Blast smoothie (priced $9.99- Pitaya, Pineapple, Strawberries, Banana, Coconut Water) only tasted like bananas in my opinion and the fall Honey Maple latte ($4.99) tasted like slightly sweet coffee. I didn't taste anything distinct there. Next time I'll try the lavender coffee and see if there's a difference. For food, my sister and I ordered the Go Go Goji bowls ($12.99- Granola, Banana, Strawberries, Blueberries, Goji Berries, Almond Slices). We thought these were delicious and full of toppings. The only thing was I got the dragonfruit/pitaya base and she got açaí. Her's was so frozen that it was hard to eat and she had to wait for it to melt a little. Lastly, we got the Gourmet Grilled Cheese ($10.99- Colby Jack Cheese, Pesto, Sundried tomatoes) to share. These came with packaged chips but I didn't get to choose the flavor. And even though it was a grilled cheese, some of the bread was not grilled and the cheese was not at all melted. The service- 9/10. The workers were actively cleaning the public spaces as many people filed through. The cashier was helpful in answering questions and promoted their loyalty program. The person calling out orders called out my name and I collected my to go order and walked outside. My sister noticed the bag was light and said that I was missing a sandwich. As I walked back in to get it, the worker was calling out my name. It's a small thing but noting that she was calling out a partial order would've been helpful. What if I had driven home? She did offer a drink carrier for my two drinks which I declined but it was appreciated. The ambiance- 9/10. Very pretty place but it's in a small location. Using valuable sitting space for photo ops seems silly to me. Overall- a hesitant 8/10. They need to work on consistency and delivery but I can see this quickly becoming a town center staple once they figure it all out. read more
