So, if you listen...to...her, you'll get something more spectacular than you could have ever imagined. I showed her photos and videos of what I love/like/my personal taste; each room turned out seamlessly perfect in every way--beautiful, functional- -absolutely sensational. Also, she has your back with everyone involved in your project every step of the way. For those who get stuck on her fee, just don't...she is worth every penny! She presented me with optional layouts for each room to be renovated. Our kitchen, master bath, guest bath, laundry room and powder room were all completely remodeled from floor to ceiling. She also helped me choose all the lighting not only in the rooms she remodeled, but in our entire home doing exactly what I needed from her...she didn't let me make any mistakes. I can't begin to say how thankful I am. Our home is gorgeous, and I couldn't be happier. Words cannot describe what a breathtaking home Barbara created for us. We started with a simple renovation that, due to the state of our existing structure, became an entire rebuild that took much longer than anticipated..Barbara not only made the process bearable, but I'll say this... I wouldn't have maintained my sanity without her. Photographs of our home will be on her website soon, she and her photographer were here last week executing the shoot, so I can't wait to see the photos! Working with Barbara was a true pleasure.

We had a vision of what we wanted for our master bathroom with some pinterest pictures to give a sense of what we were looking for (arches, dark cabinets etc.). She took those inspirations and made our own unique version of it that works beautifully in our space. My husband and I always appreciate Barbara's honesty as it is very important to us to have not only a style that reflects us but that is also timeless and elegant. We trust her talent and her expertise fully. What is great is that Barbara is open to collaboration and will work with you if that is a style of work you want. So if you want a pretty seamless experience with someone who has your best interest in mind and is with you along the entire process (measuring, design, choosing tiles, fixtures, knobs/pulls, cabinets, countertop, following up during construction, recommending and finding contractors etc.) then look no further than The Place for Kitchens and Baths. We look forward to more collaborative projects with her in our home!

I really liked the owner who I thought came across as honest, knowledgeable and a straight shooter. Also, the pricing was fair, the selection and quality of granite was impressive and they were very easy to communicate with. We put down a deposit and things got rolling quickly. The counters went down beautifully but there was some question about whether or not they'd be able to get all of the backsplashes done with the amount of material we had in our slabs. Ultimately, they made it happen without any drama or delay which was really appreciated. I also want to mention how impressed I was with their trustworthiness. They basically had complete access to our house for three days as well as the codes to get in and they didn't abuse the trust we placed in them whatsoever. The place was in exactly the same shape it was when we returned, with the exception of the fantastic granite they installed! All in all, great experience. Five stars.

They corrected things that were not exactly the way we had anticipated. Amazingly on several days their men stayed 2 hours later!! Its interesting that on many construction jobs there are things which are left incomplete or not as promised. At the end of the project there was not one item that caused them to return for touch up etc. We would recommend them highly. One suggestion for all customers-not just Mr Kitchens: keep a running "punch list" as the job is being done. Many of the items will have been done during the project, but you will have a running list of things which need to be done. That really helps at the end of the project because quite frequently we forget things we wanted to discuss.
