Small, cute & unique brewery...and roastery!…read more Set in an industrial area, brewery is in a garage-like setting, but atmosphere was more like a neighbourhood type joint. Female bartender was very friendly. Place was quite lit on a Saturday afternoon. There was a long, communal picnic table outside, but no umbrellas in sight. Selection wasn't huge, there was a few beers on tap with 4 samples in a flight ($14). Glasses for the flights were quite BIG! Please see pic. The DDIPA/stout were standouts. There wasn't any food/snacks - maybe chips - on-site, but there was someone doing a BBQ outside, but I was unsure whether or not that was a Saturday special as I didn't see any signs.

We actually were in the area visiting and planned to go to Starbucks across the street but when we…read moreparked, I noticed Pilot Coffee Roasters so we decided to stop there instead since it's not usually within reach for us. As we walked in, I noticed the open concept and minimal decor and fell in love with it! We were greeted by both the employees working right away and I must say, the customer service was perhaps the best part of the entire experience. We were never rushed to order as they gave us plenty of time to debate the menu and when it came time to order, the gentleman was very thorough and helpful with the sizes of drinks, explaining the milk alternatives which are free of charge, order was clarified to ensure it was correct - all in all, you could feel he took his time to get things right for us. When our iced matcha beverages were handed off, he realized he didn't let us know they come Una's a default and there, he offered simple syrup or vanilla syrup of our choosing since we do prefer our matcha sweetened. After tasting, we told him two pumps wasn't sweet enough and he kindly added more syrup for us. I personally ordered the seasonal white chocolate matcha as a hot beverage which was tasty but a little too sweet - I would request for half sweet next time. I also got the sea salt chocolate chip cookie as I couldn't resist (it looked so good in the pastry display!) It turned out to be absolutely delicious - the edges being the best part. My mom said it paired well with her Americano which was made with their Heritage blend. Speaking of which, before my mom ordered her coffee, she was offered to try their brew before buying which was really helpful as it ended up being too acidic for her. The Heritage blend was much more her preference with the nutty notes. All in all, a nice place to study and/or grab a coffee and snack to go! I'd highly recommend anyone to visit if in the area.

I have been to the other Lost Aviator location but this was my first time visiting this location…read more It is located in a more industrial area next to a crossfit. There is plenty of parking and inside you will find a very lovely sitting space. We came ten minutes to closing time (kids life ) but the barista was very nice and didn't hesitate to make us coffees. I had the Raspberry Mocha which was DELICIOUS it was made from dark roast but was lovely (usually I would prefer medium). There are usually treats available although they were already put away due to closing, but what's nice is they offer day old treats for 25% off (and 2 day old free). There is also a microwave available which is a nice touch for people who want to come in with their own lunch.

I came here on the recommendation of one of my friends who's really into coffee…read more The service was really good, the barista was knowledgeable and was able to serve me a nice cup of coffee, my only complaint is that when ordering a pour over to stay they only had paper cup options... Now if you know anything about pour overs, serving it in a paper cup is basically like serving a glass of wine in Styrofoam cup Can you do it? Sure Should you do it? Absolutely not The coffee is good there, but I would recommend getting real cups for customers who want to sit in
