Been here twice in the past 2 weeks the bacon cheeseburger is the best in town. Fries are nice and thin too.

Nah! My wife and I went here and there was about 10 people in the whole restaurant. It took them 20 minutes to get our drinks, 45 minutes to get our food and when the food came my lasagna was frozen on the inside. The manager came over and apologized but the sincerity was extremely lacking. We won't be returning and don't recommend! read more

This was a pretty good experience. Our waitress was top notch. My party and I enjoyed the burgers and apps. The beer was cold and it did the job!! Come visit! read more

So off the rip just wanted to let you all know this spot gets automatic 3 stars because it's fully gluten free accommodating!! Lol okay now that I'm done with my bias statement hahah... the extra star goes for food and service. I love love the flavors of the food but wish that the jalapeños, cauliflower were cooked longer. It was a word having a crunch when I know that those dishes normally don't. I would most likely ask for well done with those next time! My friend was hoping her green beans were like Friday's restaurant style but honestly I loved them lol!! My friend loved her burger and I loved my chicken I just didn't know that it wasn't actual lettuce wraps. Next time I'm trying the gluten free bun! I really like their flavored ketchups yumm!!! It was a good first experience and the waitress was super nice! read more

First three items I tried to order they were out of. Got a margarita that was supposed to come with a salted rim, but they didn't salt it. No big deal. They salted the rim for my second one...but my first sip tasted like salt and bleach. I made it to the men's room before I was violently ill from whatever the chemical was that I ingested. Returned to my table, paid the bill and left. Will never return, and I recommend everyone stay away from this place. read more

5 stars doesn't do justice of this restaurant, they need 2000 stars! Dan the man was AMAZING!!! Not only was he our server he also was behind the bar, and he was fast at what he does!! We got sat right away and our food came out quick, the place was nice and clean! I got the Mac and Jack and let me tell you... that was the best Mac and cheese I EVER had, it was DELICIOUS!! Definitely will be coming back and recommend this place to anyone!! read more

Can they claim this to ba avocado on a burger? Sriracha fries are horrible, Cole slaw is unedible. Surprised I was able to squeeze 2 drops of juice out of the burger it was so dry. Truffle tots are solid though. read more

Service-horrible Professionalism- horrible Ambience- not welcoming for everyone (self explanatory) First time trying this place with my wife and kids. We were seated near the restroom in a half empty place . Two families came in after us and we're at least asked what they'd like to drink. I decided to take my family to another place . Upon exiting I notified the gentleman seating everyone and said "we are all set, no one came to tend to our table). The gentleman says "my bad" and tends to another family. Wasn't a good experience at all. I Called and spoke to the manager to let them know that there should have been a more professional approach by the gentleman in the front, and that our table was over looked several times. With zero acknowledgment. We didn't even get a " we will be right with you". Place was half empty! Just thought I'd share my experience as I was severely disappointed. read more

Great food and great service. As things are slowly getting back to normal, we decided to hop in here for an early dinner and it did not disappoint! The cauliflower appetizer was so good, perfect mix of sweet with a little kick. The cheeseburger sliders were very tasty and the nachos were amazing. They top some homemade potato chips with chili and cheese; some of the best nachos I've had in a while. read more

I was impressed that the restaurant responded to my yelp review and asked me to contact them. I did via the email address they supplied, just a day or so later but since then, crickets. I guess the don't actually care. Extremely poor customer service. read more

This was a mixed deal. This day. My father the kid and I stopped in for lunch. We had the chili which was ok spicy but not the best I've ever had. I hade the bacon blue cheese burger which I thought was decent. Now the down side. My daughter asked for her burger some pink it was tragically over cooked. There's a rule that say she can send anything back unless we agree something is wrong. We allowed her to send it back due to this. Her new burger came out it was cooked nicely but they ordered a refire of my burger not hers. Oops. Mistakes happen they ended up comping her meal. read more

Great food! They have indoor and outside seating. The inside was very clean and social distancing was enforced with tables blocked off. Each table had hand sanitizer and a touch less menu. They also have paper menus. The food was delicious, had hot wings for app and then a California Cobb salad for lunch. Prices were fair as well. read more

Just went to plan b in southington and I don't think I'll be back. It was lunch time and not a lot of people and only one waitress. Got wings for an appetizer and they didn't bring out plates. Wings were GIANT but the flavor was good so they were capable of being good had they been a normal size. Also got chicken tacos, not good at all. My husband got a bacon cheeseburger and it wasn't that good. Only thing good was the water and fries. read more

This was our first time and it wasn't the best. It took a while to get any waitstaff to our table (I'd say at least 15 minutes) and then getting just our drinks took even longer. Once we placed our appetizer and dinner order both came out at the same time! To make it worse one of our dinners were completely wrong! At this point we had waited sooooo long and with the wrong order coming out we didn't want to wait for the right thing so we just opted for a refund on the wrong item and left. It was a very disappointing experience overall. I'd like to say we would try it again but that's doubtful unfortunately. On top of it all, we were sat at a high top and the bar that you could step on was broken so our feet just dangled so after a while it became very uncomfortable. Overall ... not a good experience. I'm not one to write bad reviews but I'm hoping the restaurant sees this and makes the necessary changes for future patrons. read more

My husband and I decided to go to Plan b Southington for a date night. What a great surprise!! The service was fantastic!! The food was phenomenal!! Thank goodness I have leftovers. We will definitely be going back soon!! I had the Mac 'N Jack with Pulled Pork (it's about 3 meals in one - leftovers plus the Cheesecake Tart with fresh berries. So yummy!! read more

Honestly this really should have been plan b the burgers came out wrong the fries were cold the serve was horrible but I mean we couldn't just walk out so we suffered through it but the only thing good was the drinks that definitely had more alcohol then we payed for, on top of that a soda should not take 10 minutes to fill . Final notes Plan B should not be your Plan A. read more

I would have rated this place 1 star but gave it 2 stars because the decor is pretty nice. It's all downhill after that. Ordered a Dirty Martini and an Old Fashion. Had to send The Dirty back to remix it because it was way too Dirty. Had to ask 3 times to bring Cherries for the Old Fashion. As far as cocktails go, stick to beer and wine at this place. We just had appetizers-wings and nachos. The nachos are kettle potato chips smothered in some kind of cheese wiz type of cheese and what appeared to be ground meat. Barely edible. The wings were ok. It was our Servers first day, and the service was very slow. Not one person sitting at the bar by the time we left at 6:15 pm. Not a great experience. read more

Super slow Wednesday night. Server did NOT ask how we wanted our burgers cooked. 2 options and he didn't even ask. My drink took a very long time. Food came out. Burgers were WELL done. We are medium rare red meat eaters. My son ate his since he was super hungry. I ate maybe 1/4. My other son had a Buffalo chicken sandwich. He ate 2 bites. Wasn't an issue with the sandwich, he wasn't really hungry. Our server NEVER came back to ask how things were. Only to offer the check. Glastonbury has always been my go to for Plan B, and now I see why. Sorry southington, you failed. We did very much enjoy the guitar player! Great job to him!! read more

It was very poor service it took about 15 minutes for us to get asked for drinks. Our waiter did not check on us until the navarro spoke to her. The burger I ordered was ok but very crumbly. The fries were very good. The food was not worth it for the price we paid. Maybe it was one bad time but it was not very good. read more

This is a newly opened restaurant. I'd say give it some time. They really need to get their Sh^t together! Wait time of 50 minutes plus with plenty of open tables. First we ordered American nachos. Instead of tortilla chips they were potato chips. Tasty but cold. Then, a tavern burger which was good and mini burgers with regular fries. Fries were cold. Ours drinks were constantly empty and I had to remind the bartenders several times. I asked for water and got a glass of ice. Lol! I will wait a few months and try again. I'm hoping they'll get better! Oh and I hope the add the kale salad from the West Hartford Plan B. Love the dressing and it's a much healthier option compared to the salads they are offering here in southington. All with creamy dressings, bacon, cheese etc. read more

Went to have lunch and they totally screwed everything up. My chicken sandwich was bland and there was no seasoning. My friend got a burger that was dry and overly done when she asked for medium well, she asked for sautéed mushrooms and they were cold and barely sautéed, her jalapeños were thick sliced I don't know who does that on burgers, the nachos were gross they had some ricotta cheese on top looked like old cheese sauce. The waitress was new so she was flustered the whole time and didn't have the answers to any questions. Definitely will not be going back to this place. read more

For burgers being your specialty I was less than impressed. If I am paying $20/burger they should be amazing. I guess you don't cater to people who like their burgers medium rare, but my biggest complaint is that when I asked for a tomato for my burger I was brought whole cherry tomatoes. Usually a burger gets a nice large sliced tomato. My son's was missing the avocado and was just overall sub par. Considering we spent $95 for burgers and pretzel bites for 3 of us I would have liked to have been wowed. Definitely the opposite. It's also nice when restaurants cater to patrons who don't drink brewery beer. Coots lite isn't the best alternative. Just my opinion and feedback. Good luck. We will not be back. read more

We came on a Thursday night for trivia. It was a lot of fun! We were seated immediately and our server was kind and helpful. The food tasted good. There were many options. Note that the portions were smaller than expected for the cost compared to other restaurants of similar size and style. Overall, a good time! read more

The hostess/waitstaff was great. Nice atmosphere and seating. The burger itself was very good. The problems stemmed from asking for no pickle on the burger salad yet receiving a salad with pickles all over it, and the parmesan fries were stone cold. Very poor execution from the kitchen. Also, why is there an up charge for the Parmesan fries if they are the same price as the regular fries when you purchase them as a side item. This is a bad and confusing look. We'll probably try something else next time. read more

Stopped there on a mid-day Friday with several friends. Our waitress was great! Very accommodating with suggestions and to our desire not to rush. We started with a double order of the boneless wings in both hot and mild: great flavor and the blue cheese dipping sauce was yummy!!! I'd go out if my way just to get them again! Then we all ordered burgers. Again, best burgers I've had in a long time. Cooked perfectly! My companions and I all agreed this will be our new favorite place to go!!! read more

Food: Excellent. Everything was really good. Pickles were my favorite . Price wasn't worth the amount of food. Too high for the small amount of food. Service: HORRIBLE! Even though it was busy the day I went, the wait for a table that I was told 30 minutes ended up being an hour wait. Everyone was getting seated before my party. Even parties that were larger than mines. The hostesses (there was about 6 girls behind the stand trying to tell each other what to do) weren't the nicest but I get it, they were busy but it was a mess read more

We tried to get in at noon on a Monday. The doors were locked. I went there with my family. The server was not very attentive. I order the blue chips for appetizer with extra jalapeño and then order the classic burger. Saw this amazing looking bar-b-a joint one day and had to go! Love their motto, burgers, bourbon, and beer! Can't get any more American than that! I WILL BE BACK to this amazing place! Prices are a little steep but you definitely get what you pay for here! Staff was extremely friendly! Our waitress came and had a refill of a drink before asking, she was extremely nice and bubbly personality! All around an amazing place to go for a few drinks and some amazing bbq! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Not to mention their decor is fu**ing awesome! read more

Not that great. Food was ok. They screwed up my wife's order 3 different ways and mine was dry. Service was slow. Beer was cold!

I'm a big fan of the flagship Plan B Tavern in West Hartford. This one is in a busier location on Queen St right off Rte 84. Same awesome food, friendly staff, great beer list. Just consistently good stuff. Highly recommend the veggie burger, cauliflower app, and burgers of any kind with the pretzel bun. Yum. read more

I've been to Plan B in both West Hartford and Glastonbury, and was excited to try it Southington. Unfortunately, my burger that I asked for with "some pink" was SO dry that I had to send it back. I think that this location needs to retrain their cooks on what some pink and no pink is, because the table behind us had the same issue. The burger was dry and burnt on the bottom when they asked for pink as well. I will give the location another try at some point and will chalk this up to it being a busy, new location with cooks who need a little more training on consistency. read more

Welp, I decided to try Plan B again after not being able to place a take out order last time. Now tried to order on a Tuesday night, surely not a busy night when it comes to restaurants. Called, went to voicemail. Called a while later, went to voicemail. So then I went on their website and it showed they were open. So, I tried to put an online order in and............the site wouldn't allow me to do so. It said the next available pick up day was today, Wednesday the 8th. I tried Plan B, I really did, but unfortunately, this location just doesn't stack up to Glastonbury! There are so many dining options in the area, try one of those! read more
