This guy almost turned our house into Chernobyl. Burned propane to see what the issue was, smoke all over the kitchen...set off the fire detector which was impossible to turn off until we shut off the power in the entire house. THEN, he almost set the kitchen on fire with some wires in the back of the frig. Horror show. Then he said he would write a report to PC Richard that its unrepairable. We called them today and they said that apparently they will get new parts for it and fix it. We told them the story of Chernobyl and that this frig is dead and we can't have a dangerous machine in the house. Now they're saying "under review" and they'll get back to us. Leotech...horror show. If there was an option to make this a zero star review, it would be more appropriate. My refrigerator and range were both dispatched to this company through Sears/Cinch Home Warranty. They fixed the oven ignitor, but while doing the repair, the tech and I both noticed a crack in the inner glass of the oven window. The tech didn't cause it, but rather we found it during the repair. The tech took a picture and said he'd have to post a report, as it wasn't on the original repair ticket. I called back 2 days later, and again 1 week later, to just find out the status of my repairs (did they order the parts, etc). I asked about the oven window and was told it was denied. I immediately called Sears and they told me it wasn't denied.... they had no record of it! Leotech outright LIED about the oven window being denied. I followed up with Sears and now 3 weeks later I've finally gotten the ticket reopened and a different provider will be looking at the cracked oven window. Leotech not only needs to drastically improve their CSR's customer relations training, but they also need to work on their accountability and response. Horrible company and I would not recommend to anyone. If this company is dispatched by a home warranty program, don't wait to request a reassignment. read more

The customer service is absolutely rude. She hung up on me twice. The first time, she called me to confirm the appointment. I said could you provide me a certificate of insurance (COI)? She said "no, find another company" and then hung up. I then called her back on the day of the appointment. I asked if we still have the appointment. Supposedly located in Freeport but with a (347) area code. A technician came to our house, and broke the part that he was supposed to install. My mom caught him trying to install our previous part and sort of fix it up. He said that he would have to pay the company back for the part since he broke it, and that it was not fair. Fast forward to 3 weeks without a washer dryer unit and the company wants me to pay an extra $120 on top of $850 to fix our wash dryer. Seriously?? Why wouldn't we just buy a new washer dryer at that point? Thank you Lowe's for recommending the absolute worst company on the planet. Money hungry. Thieves. This company was sent to me by my home warranty company. To fix an issue with my steam boiler turning on. Tech showed up and he told me he is only familiar with older boilers. He proceeded to look at my boiler and then he called someone on the phone and speaking in another language. He was there for about an hour and told me the sensor was no good. Even though the boiler is only 4 years old. I just felt this guy was incompetent and really had no idea what he was talking about. He left and said someone will return and install the sensor in 3 days. Needless to say no one returned and I never recieved an email about his so called diagnosis. I called the warranty company and asked them to cancel my claim and that called someone else and they had my boiler working in 5 minutes. The professional HVAC tech stated that my sensor was fine and my boiler just needed to be flushed. I googled the company Leotech and found that they are an electronics and appliance repair company. So why they were sent to fix my boiler is beyond me. The warranty company is refunding me my $65 service fee from Leotech.... read more

They came to fix my dishwasher, the man spoke very little English to top everything he was arrogant and incompetent because he did not know what he was looking for . He spend 15 minutes looking at my dishwasher took some pictures and said he was going to send to sears. THREE weeks later we followed up with our warranty company and was told the company said the job was completed and the dishwasher was working fine. UNBELIEVABLE! Horrible experience. Never mind that they do not come within the 4 hour window that they tell you, but they told me that I needed 3 parts for my fridge and that it needed to be unplugged and defrosted for 24 hours before they could change them. When they come back, they were very late after I had already taken off 1/2 day of work and turned off my fridge for 24 hours, and when I called they were extremely rude and told me to wait. I finally told them I had to go to work and the woman on the phone said, "okay, bye!" I called GE and they then sent one of their own techs out to look at the fridge and it turns out that it did not need any of those parts, and it was a quick fix. Horrible company. Their technicians are not experienced and straight up say "I don't know what to do." After looking at my washer for 5 mins, he left and said he would speak to his manager about how to approach the problem and come back on the next business day. I never heard from them so I called and the receptionist said the work was completed and the claim was closed. I told her that no work was performed, the technician spent 5 mins in my home and left. She said to call my insurance company, so I did and was told I would have a follow-up appointment by the end of business. At the end of the day, of course there was no call so I had my insurance company call them again. I was then informed that they denied my claim and my insurance wouldn't pay for another vendor to come fix the issue. I called LG instead of my insurance, explained my situation, and they sent a wonderful technician in 2 days that fixed the problem in 10 mins, FREE OF CHARGE. If you are assigned to this company, ASK FOR ANOTHER COMPANY and save yourself a lot of time and headache. read more

These guys are Crooks. I schedule an appointment with this company to take a look at a dishwasher that wasn't working in a rental property. They sent a technician with a service fee of $75. After the technician was there I was informed that it's going to cost over $300 to repair the dishwasher and told me that a water pump had to be replaced. I decided to get a second opinion and found out that the only thing that was wrong was the water valve under the sink was shut off. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! We used this company through our Sears warranty for our Kenmore refrigerator. This ice machine was not functioning properly (ice keeps freezing in the chute) and the freezer was not cold enough. The repair man showed up ordered a few parts and came back a week later. The freezer is working but now the fridge is making all sorts of noises and the ice is still freezing in the chute. He told us that needed to order another part but to follow up with him because he probably wouldn't remember to order it. When I followed up, the women on the phone told me the job had been completed and if we needed more repairs to go through our warranty again. She became very nasty over the phone. We had an extended warranty with Lowe's for our 2016 LG fridge. Fridge died on JUNE 5TH and we promptly called Lowe's. They advised that they will have their techs come the following day (JUNE 6TH) and that they would assess. Later that day, a company called Techledge called to schedule and they advised they would not be to our home until the following Tuesday, JUNE 9TH. Fine. The "technician" arrives and looks at the fridge for 2 minutes and says "you need compressor. I order and be back in 3-5 days." Shocked that, considering this is a common problem with this model, they do carry parts around with them. I BEG stating I have a 5 year old and a fridge is pretty important to sustain them. He stated "I may have parts at office but I don't know. I'll be back in a few days." Well...3-5 days turned into over a week and finally I called Lowe's on JUNE 16TH to see what the delay was. Rep at Lowe's states that they received the parts and they were just checking them in and we should be scheduled within a day. Techledge/PLA or whatever company they're hiding under didn't call to schedule until MONDAY JUNE 22ND and that scheduling was for this morning, JUNE 24TH!! So over 20 days with no fridge. Tech shows up and doesn't even bring floor protection. I had to. Tech doesn't even clean up leaving ME to dispose of defective compressor. What are theTech tried leaving without even giving ANY record of repair. Oh yeah...he didn't give me anything the first time he was here. I had to ARGUE to get some record of repair and all he could give me was a ticket request from his office. Furthermore, when I stated I don't even know the name of his company or phone number, he gave me some rogue 929 area code number to call with questions yet, he has a shirt with a 347 area code. So, are you a DBA warranting 2 names or are you changing numbers and names without updating your license so you can circumvent the complaints? Service was scheduled through LG for a brand new air conditioner that is not working but under warranty. LG's policy is that all technicians that they contract to do repairs in customer's home must wear a mask. Tech showed up at the door with no mask. I went to hand him an individually wrapped mask and he said he wasn't putting it on. He said that it's not a law that he has to wear one. I explained that this wasn't a legal matter but a personal one - it's my home and I'm high risk. He said he wasn't putting it on and I replied that he couldn't come in without one. He said, "Your choice," and walked away. One minute later someone from Pla called and said, "The technician said you refused to let him in." I explained that this was not true, that he could come in but with a mask." She gave me the same line about it not being a legal requirement and I replied, again, that this wasn't a legal matter. She said that she was recording that I refused to let him in and someone else would have to call me. I called LG and LG is filing a report that Pla violated the requirement that their techs wear masks and for refusing me service. read more

The tech came 3 times and didn't know what he was doing and blamed it on wrong parts every time. I wasted 2 days off of work, and being a mechanic by trade I diagnosed it myself and bought the correct 150$ board to fix it. I had the pleasure of speaking to Sophia who was very rude and even hung up on me because when she answered the phone, she said "hello repair company", I asked "what is the name of the company". I called back and she claimed the call was disconnected and explained that we are Leo solutions but was once called PLA Appliance Repair Service. I asked for details in regards to the diagnosis from the technician that was sent to my house. The technician arrived late on a Friday and only stayed for less than 5 minutes. He only looked inside the washing machine, asked what was wrong with the machine and said everything is broken, "the bed, the drum, everything is flat". He explained that this is a big job with a lot of parts and not worth fixing. The insurance I have on the washing machine needed an exact part that was malfunctioning so that a Warranty claim can be applied to get the parts warrantied. Leo Solutions explained that a written diagnosis will be sent over to the insurance company. I called back Leo Solutions and they explained that the report will be sent at the end of the day Monday before 6PM because the technicians don't work on weekends. Long story short, the report was sent the following day and the report was incomplete with the information the insurance needed. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM! STAY FAR AWAY FROM! LG Provided me this company as someone that could fix my washer. Stay Away. Called for service was told the diagnoctic cost would be $75 cash or $75 + processing fee for a credit card. I indicated what I thought was wrong with my LG Washer but was told one for their technicians would come out and diagnose the probem. Received 2 additional calls prior to the appointment to indicate the costs of the visit. Technician called before arriving to provide me an ETA (this was great). Technician arrived and asked me what was wrong. I told him what I thought was wrong with the LG Washer. He said me needed to get his tools and would be back. At no point did he touch or look at my LG washer. He spent 10 minutes outside talking to his manager and then told me that it was a large job and would cost X. I told him that he did not even touch the washer so how did he know that I was correct. He then said it would cost X and did I want him to proceed. I told him no, based on the cost and the parts I already purchased I could purchase a brand new machine. He then thrusted a contract in front of me indicating I need to sign it. I said NO, he did not even touch the washer and never provided me a proper diagnosis of the problem. I told him the change me his "diagnostic fee" and to leave my home. I also adjusted his agreement to indicate he never gave me a proper diagnosis or touched the machine. Please also note the company name on the paperwork is not the same one they advertise with. My dryer is not drying, and we reach out to Home Depot for the warranty service. they told us the PLA service will be reaching out. lmao at H&D we contact PLA and explain we have stackable appliances in a small compartment. They need to slide the equipment from the small compartment. They send the first tech and couldn't do it by himself, we reach back, and they told us that they were going to send some else with the extra help. An entire week passes by, and the second tech comes, rude with no ID, very speak English while i am opening the door he gets in without saying anything I grab him by the back and told him to stop. He tells me I am here for the dryer. two minutes on the job, looks and tells me, i have to come back., i can't move the dryer. My wife calls, and someone picks up with the fucking rude voice and they tell her the next group technicians are going to be available in September. They are rude with the worse costumer's service. The worker, Michael came to our house and seemed pleasant enough, and within 5 minutes told us our LG washer needed a water inlet valve and he would order the part and be back next week. I called PLA service company today only to find out that they charged LG for a service call and lied to LG, telling them that the washer was being used for commercial purposes.So they got paid for doing nothing, and lied about my home residence. When I called their office the woman said I had to call LG, and would not tell me why the "contract" was closed. If 0 stars could be used, this company deserves it. The man ACKNOWLEDGED it and APOLOGIZED for it at the time it happened but when I called the company to tell them he damage the floor they said the damage was already there before he came. They said I was lying and THEY had pictures of my floor from there first visit a week earlier, which was a lie because I asked them to show me the pictures and they wouldn't. All pictures would have a date and time stamp on it now. I don't think they are even insured because they are telling me to call my homeowners insurance instead of using there insurance company. This company looks like a home run business not professional at all. If you let them in and they damaged anything in your house they will say it's your word against there's.
