They were busy at the time I was there but I waited patiently because I know it was worth it. The worker greeted me and I went ahead and ask some questions about tires and I got the perfect answer to that. Help me in and out the place less than an hour. So drove off till this day until now it's perfectly fine for decent used tire for low price but good quality. In side perfect nice and comfortable to relax while they work on your needs. Went here to get my wheel looked at since there was a small leak I couldn't find. Only reason I'm not giving five stars is cuz I think people will trust this more as a real review. Five star review though. The manager had his guys inspect the wheel, showed me the issue, gave me options for fixing the problem, and they took care of it right there and I have been way happy with the results driving on it for a few weeks now since it was fixed. These guys are honest, gave me a good price, and I would recommend these guys for your tire/wheel needs. Support local, especially these days since we're all hangin in there. BEWARE OF THE GIFT CARD POLICY THEY DO NOT HONOR THEM! I have been to PK before and have had good encounters. Their prices are fair and their service is quick. The owner also does his best to ensure customer satisfaction. That being said I was very disappointed with my most recent visit. I went in looking to get two used tires. I got my two tires but what I didn't get was good customer service. I wanted to use two $25 gift cards to help pay for my two tires. When I went to pay they said they didn't accept them. When I asked for an explanation they said it was because I didn't buy new tires. I let them know that the card doesn't state any exceptions. It literally says "GIFT CARDS ARE GOOD FOR ALL PRODUCTS AND SERVICES AT PK TIRES PRO". The person at the desk called other employees and I could tell they were discussing what to do. It seemed like they called the owner and asked if they could take the cards. He said yes at first but then the employee told the person on the phone that it was for used tires and all of a sudden they were not accepted. At this point, I already had a feeling that they were not going to budge. I was put in a peculiar situation because I went in expecting to be able to use both gift cards since they do not state any exceptions. I was not looking to spend much money because I am currently unemployed so I thought the gift cards were going to be my saving grace and it turned out to be a nightmare. Luckily I had just enough to cover the cost but I was very tempted to just ask them to give me my old tires back. I didn't opt for that option since I didn't want to be an asshole to the rest of the staff and I really needed the tires. I am a very reasonable person and would have understood if the card said that they were not good for used tires. I would have understood if any exception was stated but they werent. I left feeling embarrssed and disappointed. I get used tires dont make you much money especially when somone uses gift cards to pay for them. I was really hoping the employees woud help me out and at least accept one of the gift cards but they didnt. My family and I have bought new tires from here before and were satisfied. We actually got the gift cards, one time, as a "sorry" for some bad new tires we recieved. Thats why I say the owner does his best to make things right. Who would have known that those gift cards he gave use would not be honored. It makes me feel like I was taken advantaged of then and now. SO BEWARE WHEN PURCHASING GIFT CARDS. THEY DO NOT HONOR THEM. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE AND ASK THEM IF THEY HONOR THEM BEFORE ANY WORK IS DONE. I strongly suggest they add the exception policy to their gift cards so people wont be decieved or suffer the same fate I did. Make it state that they aren't redeemable on used tires. Also make it state that only one can be used per transaction. Please be specfic about the policy. Also for anybody who already has gift cards add a sign to the store front that states the policy clearly. read more

UPDATE to Review: I found out that PK Tires never tightened the terminals on the previous battery install (this is for the second time they changed the battery and they never mark an expiration date on their batteries which is a tell tell sign of a bad shop) and did not even take into account aftermarket parts requiring a bigger battery. After more research, and consultation from other car shops it also looks like PK cuts corners in terms of recognizing a car should not be jumped and driven to a shop, it should be towed to figure out the problem. After going somewhere else and getting the customer service. I will only be going to PK Tires to get my money back. Please pay attention to the reviews about their tires because now I am going to get my tires I got from them checked elsewhere. I chose not to let them take a look for a third time and I am happy I moved on. I recommend spending the extra cash at a different shop with better engineers and mechanics. The reviews are right. The quality of their work is questionable and I don't trust their knowledge enough to feel safe on the road with my family. I will be reporting to an agency appropriate and I recommend if you went here have a problem with their work contacting a Consumer Bureau and getting your money back as well. read more

I had a horrible experience with buying a tire with them before But i like to give places a second chance. So i Took my car to get an alignment because the price seem pretty fair. As soon as they put my car on the alignment lift I went inside to pay. After 5 minutes they came in and said it was done. Never heard anyone doing an alignment under 10 minutes . Ask for a print out of the current alignment specs and said they don't do that. Car drives worst now and pulls to the left. read more

I went in again to see what Ahmad would tell me. He explained that the cracking happened because the tire was weathered. He suggested that I should get two new tires instead of one so that the tread would be even on both sides. He quoted me a far lesser price than his other employee which was good but I still declined the offer. He then told me to go in the next morning to see if he had a tire like the one that was damaged. I went in the next morning and sure enough he had a tire with the same amount of tread as the other three. They installed the new tire for free and he even gave me a $25 pk gift card because he was unable to find the exact brand as the others. He didn't have to do that but he did and that's greatly appreciated. read more

OMG! I came to PK tires with my 2016 Ford fusion for a oil change a tuneup and for two new tires. They did the complete service across a little over $700. Don't know if that's a good deal or not I'm not sure. But there was a spark plug stuck in the number three spot that they said that they couldn't remove. they said that it was a possibility that if they break it that I will have to have my whole head replaced. But they did do the service and I drove my car off the property my car started doing some weird stuff. He started stuttering. It's not like it wanted to turn off. It was driving really shitty. I told them, they told me bring it back I bought it back. I forgot the mechanics name but he said he worked on my card everything should be fine except for the spark plug. I'm upset because my car is running bad I have to commute to San Bruno and I have to small kids and I'm pregnant. So that was a Friday that that happened. I was supposed to meet up with the owner of Cherokee automotive. We never met up because he said that he was at the office but it was closed down so I couldn't tell if he was there or not. I waited there for him for an hour. I called him and I text him and I never got any reply. So he was closed for the weekend or Monday morning I tried to go to work and my car would not go over 55 miles an hour it was really hard it was stuttering it was doing a whole bunch of stuff was on the freeway. I let them know that and the guy said that he could come check out my car if I can bring it now. I end up calling my boss and let him know he let me take the day off. That day cost me $258. So I end up bringing my car to the shop he worked on the car and he fixed it the car is running perfectly now. Mohamed a PK tires and paying for the service which was a little bit over $300. So it was a little inconvenience for me but the situation got resolved at the end so I'm grateful that it was. read more

Finally, decided to buy a "used" tire to replace the spare I had on my rear side of the passenger . *Knowing that it was used , of course I ask to make sure if I can take a look around , compare, & choose from the choice I have that fits my rim size .. there wasn't so much to choose from but only out of the two . The guy (I didn't get his name) that helped us, was patient & was really helpful ! He already chose the better one .. the other one had a lump , kinda bold , & a nail in it . *Took less then 30 mins ! *Charge us $30 for one tire & labor because he broke one nugnut lol (Decent price) -He also notice we needed to fix our entire stud & at first I thought okay , is he tryna hussle us ? (I yelp every place I go to check other reviews to be on the safe side) So we ask him for price before he touches it & so he checked with his manager how much it would be for parts & labor .. it's another $65 to change . I'm like nah , there should be a deal . I called Les Schwab on Charter Way & they gave us a quote $40-$50 . Parts are cheap and labor is always going to be expensive . Call In before I went and got a good quote as soon as I walked in I was greeted in a friendly professional manner my car just needed a rotation of tires , was done with an a blink of an eye friendly staff and I asked about the balancing price and the employee stated that my tires were fine and was not needed and that my tires were new and my car felt fine and didn't need it if it had been another tire shop they would've said yes to rip me off for money. Needed an emergency patch to avoid ruining a Scout camping trip. I called PK and explained that the nail was on the edge of the sidewall where it probably couldn't be patched. The tire is an oddball size that NOBODY stocks. They said they thought they could do a temporary patch that would last me until I could order new tires. I got there Saturday morning and it took them about 1/2 hour, just like they said. It's now Sunday afternoon, about 200 miles later, and the tire is holding air perfectly. They are nice, professional, and didn't treat me like an idiot. Highly recommend them for any tire, brake, or wheel work. read more

Today I spent the day shopping for a good deal on a set of tires. I went to Costco, Brandon tires, Americas tires, Sears and online! What I found out is that the Customer service was better here and that Jose Morales is easy to work with plus he deals..... Certainly you will be happy with their work quality and best of all the waiting area and bathroom where surprisingly in better shape that all the above mentioned. God job guys! Went to get my tires checked last month because my light popped up. Asked the guy what happened to my tires he said there was a nail and I needed a new tire. Got charged for a new used tire for $35 It could've been easily patched on, but I didn't think much of it bc I was in a rush to go to class. I asked for the nail that was found in the tire the guy couldn't find where he misplaced it... Two days later the tired they replaced it with was flat so I went back to the shop this time with my bf. The guy who looked at the tire found out there was a patch on the tire they GAVE me and gave me ANOTHER used tire. Now this tire makes loud noise when I drive which sucks and it's annoying. Lesson learned: Don't go here by yourself if you're a girl, you can easily be scammed liked me. read more

I needed some new tires and headed to PK tire to get them replaced with two used tires. I got a quote over the phone and headed over- when I got there to look at the tires one had a nail in it and the other was bald and both weren't matching! They didn't show me any other tires despite having a whole yard full of used tires. The sales person later brought me up to the new tire section and sold me on two new tires for $130 installed (after some haggling). They were basic tires, nothing fancy or special but they work for my needs. I checked online when I got home and and they seemed to be about $20/tire less than the online prices. The problem with PK is that they only have a one year manufacture warranty. I don't see how they are going to honor their warranty when I only got a credit card receipt that doesn't even list any tires or DOT number. When they re-torque the nuts on your tires they will just use the impact wrench which is a safety concern. They should definitely be torque down by a torque wrench and to manufacture specs. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you needed some cheap/worn/mismatched/pathced tires. If I went to Walmart, the price wouldn't be much more yet I would have a better warranty and I believe they patch tires for free if you bought it with them (PK charges ~$5) read more

Do not recommend! Brought a wheel to have a small bend straightened out. Left with a sort of straight wheel, nice 3" brown circle from heating it up with a Home Depot torch, 3-4" gash in it from them removing the weight, and pinch marks around the whole wheel from their balancing machine.
