Used this business when our tire bursted on freeway. Used spare to drive here. They were about to close but luckily I called to say I'm coming. This place is a one stop shop. They do alignments which is a huge plus. I was very happy with the service. So, 3yrs later when our lifted Tahoe was repaired after years of sitting in driveway inoperable, I had Triple A tow from Elk Grove to here for all new tires, balance and alignment. Usually, we go to American tires for our tire needs, but American doesn't do alignment. Both establishments have excellent service but only one provided all the services I needed. Very well set up and efficient shop. They got my vehicle right in and out and the price was reasonable. One problem, they don't do any paperwork until after the work is done. I suspect this isn't even compliant with the bureau of automotive repair policies. It's also very uncomfortable. That takes away many legal rights you might have should something go wrong. However it also makes them more liable. Not sure why this is their policy. Would have been five stars otherwise. read more

I had a blow out on the freeway last night and took my truck to Community Tire this morning to get it fixed. The guys waved me right in and got right to work. They pulled the tire off the wheel and showed me the damage was too much to fix with a simple repair. They had my same exact tire in stock. They replaced the tire, slung the spare back under the truck and added air to the other three wheels and all of that for cheaper than the competitor had offered to do it for. Been going here for many years. Got new tires last year and had a couple of issues with one of my tires. When I pulled up the immediately helped me. I went here today after work (Thursday 05/15/2025 at :1357 according to the receipt) for a TPMS error that my car (2020 Nissan Kicks) alerted me to a few days ago. All the tires were inflated to the manufacturer's recommended psi (including the spare). Within 10 minutes they identified a tire sensor in need of replacement and replaced it; All for only $60. I appreciate honesty and they have never pushed us into more than is needed and in some cases explained that we needed less than what we had come in for. I came to report that my vehicle was pulling to the right on Friday November 7, 2025 after returning home from a Reno trip. I was told to come back on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. I always come here for all my tire needs. Recently stopped by because I got a flat. I was in and out in about 15 mins. They patched up my tire and only charged $10!! Super reliable and always have the best deals. I also had them check another tire that was losing pressure just to be safe and was told there was no leaks. I went to the Toyota dealership this morning to get my car serviced for them to tell me that I had a nail in my driver rear tire and that it was not fixable and that it NEEDED to be replaced. They quoted me over $200 for that one tire but I wanted to get a second opinion from somewhere else to make sure they weren't BS'ing me. So I ended up at Community tire and I am SO glad that I did! All the guys that helped me were so nice and helpful. Turns out, the nail was on a part of the tire that could be patched so they just patched it up for me. Good as new! It only cost $20! Quite possibly the easiest adulting experience I've ever had...I called ahead to inquire about tires for my car and was given some options. They told me I didn't need an appointment so I went that same day. From walk in to walk out I was there for maybe 35 minutes. I paid less than $600 for a brand new set of Toyo tires for my Corolla. Long story short: this place will bait and switch you so get your quote in writing. They will also deny you a receipt after you pay cash. And they will tell you that you need more work/parts than you actually do. I needed 2 new front tires and called around to find a tire shop that had them in stock and could install the same day. This is the only shop I could find that could do it same day. The person on the phone gave me a quote for my price out the door, I agreed and brought my car in. When I got there I spoke with the guy at the desk, told him my tire size and that I was quoted over the phone, he asked me the amount I was quoted, he agreed and said my car would be ready in about 30 minutes. I reminded him to rotate my tires so that the new tires are on the back, as that was included with my quote. He argued that that was not necessary, I said fine just put the tires on and I also asked for a quote for new brakes. I get a phone call about 30 minutes later letting me know my car is ready and also that I need new rotors and brakes and provided a quote for about $350. I declined the brake job and headed over to pick up my car. When I get there I'm waiting for my keys and I'm approached by the person that originally provided the quote for my tires and he says "I thought you said a different size when you called and these tires cost $20 more each". So I essentially got the bait and switch so they could gouge me for another $40. Why didn't they call before installing the more expensive tires? Then on my way out they denied to give me a receipt and said the printer is broken. I'm guessing this is because I paid cash and they wanted to avoid having that transaction on the books. What a shady way of doing business. I took my car in to my trusted tire shop in Lodi, A1 Quality Tires yesterday and they said my rotors were fine. Oil change and new brakes $220 out the door. Next time I will wait for them to order my tires rather than risk going to another shop. I will never take another car to this place nor will any of my friends or family. read more

I've had a hand full of experiences here. Once I had a company vehicle tire blown and Community Tire seemed to only have a that particular size at the time in stock. At the time I was in need of that tire and Harry helped me. Another time I bought some wheels on the OfferUp app and needed some used tires and then again, Harry helped with 4 used tires and an alignment. This time I needed 2 new fronts for my daughters car. BEWARE OF COMMUNITY TIRE!!! I made the mistake of going there after a flat tire on the recommendation of a tow truck driver to have the tire repaired. However, a few weeks later, after having them fix the tire, I noticed the tire pressure had decreased, so I returned to have it checked. The tech seemed disinterested, checking the tire without explaining anything and walking away. Later, he returned, saying the tire only needed a little air. But the next day, the tire pressure had gone down again, indicating that the tech didn't check the tire properly. Moreover, I later discovered that he had inflated the tire to over 50 instead of the correct pressure of 36, which could have caused severe damage to my car. Needless to say, I cannot recommend Community Tire to anyone, especially not to women. read more

Went there to have a rim that was bent to be repaired by the owner and he cracked the rim so I was obligated to purchase all new rims. Shortly after the purchase one rim was bent and I've communicated to the owner to reach out to the vendor for a replacement. He said he would but hasn't followed up. I filled my tire with air one week and the next it lost about 10 psi. These guys were super close to my work so I stopped by after I got off work. I guess I had a screw in my tire. They fixed it asap and for an awesome price. They didn't try to sell me a tire for the heck of it which I find admirable. They even filled my tire up for me. thank you so much! Update: since posting my first review about a year ago, I've gone back twice! Once for a brand new tire and in September 2021 because my back left tire was losing psi - they found a long screw in it! Gave my tire a plug and they were done within minutes! They're always so fast! Literally just went in to get a used tire and I think his name was sabbir or something similar to that asked me what I needed so I said can I get a used tire and he's like why not just get a new one so I told him no I have real bad camber wear because I drive a lowered car. Well he said just get a new one for 120 I'm like nah I'm good then he tried selling me a "real good" used one for 70 bucks while he's looking at my other tires checking if I need other tires. For COVID, they have chairs set up outside fo safety and they're also spread out. I'm so impressed by the help I received. I had just had a tire blowout and made it in to the shop with a spare. They got me in immediately NO WAIT. (It was 3pm on a Tuesday). I didn't feel like I waited that long to get 2 new tires and I also switched around the tires. Super friendly! They gave me an update on the condition of the other two tires that I wasn't switching out which was helpful since it gave me an idea of when to get those replaced.
