First time trying PJ's! Ordered 2 of their seasonal drinks. Strawberry rose white chocolate latte and shaken honey brûlée! And of course a side of beignets! Beignets were made deliciously and fluffy! Enjoyed them a lot. The drinks were nice too. The strawberry one was my favorite! It was very nice tasting and flavorful! The honey brûlée was "okay". Not my favorite but not bad either! Absolutely my new favorite coffee place. We travel around a lot and always try new places this is by far blew everything else out of the water. The prices are insanely affordable, the XL 32oz coldbrew my husband got was only $6. The food is DELICIOUS. I highly recommend their matcha velvet ice that I got the last time I was here. I drove through and gave PJ's a try yesterday. I was a little apprehensive after seeing a lot of shaky reviews early on, but whatever opening jitters they might've suffered earlier, I had a positive visit with little evidence of any of those issues mentioned by others. Stopping by at around 11:45 on a Thursday, there was only 1 person ahead of me in the drive through. I will agree with other reviewers that the drive through setup is a little wonky and you could definitely get stuck in it during busier times or if they happened to be providing slow service. Fortunately for me, neither of those things were true; I was able to order and drive away in less than 5 minutes. One kinda weird thing is that the voice coming out of the speaker in the drive through was so soft. Idk if the staff member was whispering into the mic or if there was something wrong with the speaker, but either way, I could only barely hear her. Honestly, I think she might've welcomed me twice bc I missed it the first time. Lol. The menu has a fairly large selection of coffee, other beverages, snacks/sandwiches, and beignets -- wouldn't be coffee of New Orleans without them. ;) I'd like to try the food, but I'd already had breakfast and just wanted a pick me up, so I decided to try a mocha granita. In truth, I have no idea what the difference between a granita and a frappe is. They offer both. I figured I'd try the granita since it was slightly lower calorie and also just new to me. After tasting it, it reminds me a lot of, well, a frappe! So I still don't know the difference, lol. Regardless of my somewhat silly confusion, I liked the mocha granita! Honestly, it was like a slightly icier version of a chocolate shake. Didn't taste much coffee, honestly, which was kind of a bummer, but I liked how dark chocolate-y it tasted. It was pretty, too! It had a slightly chalky aftertaste that was a little odd, but overall I definitely enjoyed it. It worked well as a pleasant treat in the afternoon. I'd return to continue trying other menu items (especially the beignets), and also to check out the interior of the shop. read more

really wanted to like PJ's Coffee because I don't care for Starbucks, but unfortunately, their coffee just doesn't deliver. It's weak in flavor and leaves much to be desired. That said, I love their beignets--probably the highlight of the menu. However, the sandwiches and coffee are overpriced for the quality, which seems to be the norm for coffee chains these days. The dining area is spacious and bright. What made this visit particularly frustrating was the service. I ordered two sandwiches and two orders of the 12-count beignets through the drive-thru. When I received my order, the worker asked if I wanted to leave a tip, which I found inappropriate given it's fast food, and I wasn't even dining in. To top it off, they got my order wrong. I was missing one of the beignet orders. When I asked for a receipt to confirm, the worker was visibly irritated, huffing and puffing as she handed it over. After verifying I hadn't been charged for the second order, I let her know I had actually ordered two. Instead of fixing the mistake, she insisted I only ordered one, essentially blaming me for her error. Between the lackluster coffee, overpriced items, and unprofessional service, it's hard to recommend PJ's Coffee. While the beignets are good, the overall experience just doesn't make it worth the hassle. read more

Ordered breakfast catering on ezCater from PJs. It was due to be delivered at 7:30 AM on 11/17/25. I received a text message at 11:09 PM (after I was in the bed asleep) stating that the catering order for my very large scale customer meeting was canceled. The late cancellation is absolutely unacceptable. Sam's Club run and I was able to feed our customers, but it certainly wasn't what I had planned well in advance. read more

New to the area and this place has excellent customer service from a drive through experience. It was our first time visiting, so I asked for any recommendations they might have, and the lady gave us tons of options helping us narrow our options without feeling rushed. The moment we pulled up to pay she smiled and greeted us very friendly asking if either of us were a student, DR., military etc., and gave us a discount with my spouse being a veteran. We ordered a pumpkin shaken espresso & a hazelnut shaken espresso. 10/10 recommend! We will be back read more

They are certainly experiencing some opening week jitters, but they are attempting to power through it. I ordered a medium roast coffee and some beignets. The coffee was a little strong for a medium roast so I will try something different next time. The beignets were very good, the best that I've had outside of New Orleans. I'm happy to say that since its opening, PJ's has made some considerable improvements. The drive thru moves a lot faster and drinks come out promptly. The service is still mediocre, but it's gradually getting better. The coffee here is is great, especially the cold brew, and they have a variation of specialty coffees and teas that change every week or month. My current favorite is the seasonal citrus green tea. read more

The cashier/ barista named "Maeve" is very rude and condescending. This was my first time at a PJ's Coffee and I will not be returning because of her. She was argumentative about the amount of change I was owed and about the menu. Will not be coming back! Update: The manager called me within minutes of my visit and fully reimbursed my purchase and gave me a gift card! I will give it a second chance. read more

Fast and friendly! Nice to not fill rushed at the drive thru and the speaker is loud and clear and easy to hear the person on the other end. Each time I have went m, the person taking the order and serving has been very friendly and nice. Also their pastries, sandwiches and yogurt are so much better than Starbucks! read more

This coffee shop has a very pleasing and simple design. It's a smaller area with not much room in saw you want to hide away to study though. The baristas were sweet and patient for it being my first time ordering. They have a good list of non dairy options, and the croissants are fresh, flaky, and delicious! read more

It was 7pm on a Thursday evening and I wanted to try this coffee shop. Ordered a Large Coffee with 3 Splenda and 3 creamer, and a large lemonade. Asked for a croissant, they were out. Asked for a cinnamon roll he said we don't have cinnamon oil. I said no a cinnamon roll. He said closest thing we have is powered. I said Never mind. Pulled up to the window and it took the. Forever to get my two drinks. Mind you I was the only one in the drive thru. He gave me a lemonade that was more like lemon juice. Gave me coffee that was cold, and not an iced coffee. Said they were out of creamer. I said I'll just take it dark. Getting in and out of the parking lot/drive thru is ridiculous. I'll save my money. Won't go back. read more

Pretty bad service I have never been in a coffee shop that doesn't greet customers on entering the establishment not only with me and my wife every customer that enter, the establishment was not greeted just a merely glance and right back to putting their heads down, playing with cups behind the counter after standing for around four minutes for a employee, to acknowledge our presence, and take our order we then sat down pretty nice sitting area I will say but then I noticed the individual waiting in line behind us. We're still standing there, waiting for someone to take his order I would've thought they would've took his order right after ours instead of having him stand there and wait for five minutes plus and it's not like this is a under staffing issue with the multiple employees standing behind the counter, twiddling their thumbs with air pods in however, the coffee was pretty good. read more

I went by the drive thur 5/5/23 around 2:30pm and ordered a sausage egg bagel with no egg. The lady said sorry -all of the sandwiches are pre-made and no special oderes. I then told her I ordered the same sandwhich before with no problem. She then said "I guess we can do it then"... I asked her " If all the sandwiches are pre-made-were they made this morning"? She said no a few day's ago and good for a week! When I went to pay she wanted to hand me the pay machine and I declined because I'm still being cautious of covid germs ect... I can still pay and tip without holding the machine but I can tell her response was with an attitude. I will not be returning as the food is not fresh and I never had a great experience. read more

If you're interested in undercooked beignets and horrible drinks, look no further. We ordered a 6 count of their fresh "cooked" beignets and were told it may be a minute for them to cook them. I would have loved to have waited an extra 5-10 minutes instead of being handed a gummy, raw, lump of dough that was lightly fried on the outside. Luckily, I had ordered a chai latte to wash it down... There was absolutely no chai flavor at all. I was given a glass of $5+ milk that was about as white as center of the raw beignets. My friend ordered a dirty chai and the espresso in the drink has the worst flavor, having absolutely zero chai flavor did not help either. Luckily, we spit out the balls of dough before eating them so we did not end up with food poisoning. And for the drinks- straight to the trash. An honest waste of time and money. This is the First week they were opened. I went on Wednesday (2 days after opening) and they were out of beignets. I was told to come back on Friday afternoon. I told them I would be back on Friday afternoon or Saturday. So I go by on Saturday afternoon, the drive thru is closed. I have no interest in getting out of the car and into a potential COVID environment. I am very high risk. I mitigate that risk by using the drive thru. So I leave and go back on Sunday morning through the drive thru. It took forever just to order. Finally I get to the menu and it says beignets are so out but I ask if they have them. They tell me that they have a limit and I can only get 3 through the drive thru but if I come inside I can get 6. Again, high risk for COVID...I'm not going inside. So I order 3. I get to the window and they don't even have my order in the system. So she puts in an order of three. I tell her the limit is ridiculous and 30 minutes after getting in the drive thru line, I leave. So finally I will say that I'm done with PJ's. The beignets were for the kids, not me. I'm gluten free. The kids say the beignets were good. I told them I'm glad because I'm not getting more.
